I originally came here because of a coupon they sent in the mail. At the time I was a broke grad student so I hadn't been to the dentist in 2 years. This coupon gave me an opportunity to get a cleaning and x-rays at a decent cost. The cleaning was painless and thorough... My teeth felt very nice afterward! Since then I have gotten a second cleaning and a cavity filling done. I really appreciated that they constantly asked if I was doing okay, and that they talked me through each step of the procedures. The assistant also taught me how to use a water pik which was very helpful. Everyone working here is honestly very nice, which lends to the experience. After graduating and finding a job, I decided to stick with Dr. Badie. Not only had I had a pleasant experience the first time, but Dr. Badie's office offers a dental insurance plan that is cheaper than the one offered through my employer. This in-house insurance plan is honestly what sold me - dental work is never cheap, but Dr. Badie's insurance makes it affordable. Combine that with good service, it's just a great choice for dental needs.

A poorly done implant made a tooth fall out and left a pin buried in my jaw. Dr. Klemmedsen and Dr. MaGill had devised a double tooth so I wouldn't have to go through a whole new process. Both tried to remove the pin, but it was impossible. I told Badie that two very good dentists had tried to remove it and didn't succeed, He insisted that he could do it and said it was easy. I sat in his chair for around two hours while he cut and lasered my gum. I was in pure misery! He couldn't remove it! He ordered a new teeth for the implant, and when he was putting them in my mouth, he was asking his girls to go get this and go get that. He was very disorganized as his front office staff is equally disorganized. He is one of the worst dentists I have seen in Tucson. I say one because I have seen some very poor dentistry here.

They texted a reminder on Saturday which I replied to and confirmed, but then came down with a stomach bug on Sunday thats been going around, lost ALL track of time because of being up all night running to the bathroom for two days, and when I tried to explain this to them they're just like "well we have a policy and need to collect another deposit." And I'm just like "if money is what's important to you..." and they say "well no money isn't what's important." But CLEARLY IT IS. So I will be going elsewhere.

And they never scheduled me for the ozone treatments never returned my calls!! Next thing I receive a letter in the mail dismissing me from being a patient refusing me from any treatment. Will be reporting them to The Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners (AZBODE) and perusing legal action to get my money back!

My regular dentist's phone wasn't working and I had to leave a message. Meanwhile, I couldn't close my mouth because of the jagged tooth (what was left of it). I called my insurance and they set me up with Dr. Burrows whose office is close to my home. He saw me less than an hour later and got me fixed up. When my regular dentist finally returned my call and said they could fit me in the next day, I was already taken care of. I'll stick with Dr. Burrows from now on.

From crowns to unfortunately a bridge, I've had nothing but good service. But even more I love all the techs for teeth cleaning. They are all fabulous and good. One story in particular, was I lost my crown at the beach in Florida. I managed to salvage it because I didn't want to pay for a new one. Dr. Burrows told me that the likelihood of it fitting was slim because I hadn't had it in my mouth for over a week. however, it fell right into place and he charged me a minimal fee for a re-gluing it. Now to me that's honesty. He could've fed me alone and made a couple of bucks but he didn't. They've always been good and they've always been on the up and up. Gentle. Thorough and good what more can you want from a dentist?

I DID not need…read morea full set of X-rays, but this dentist insisted (he wanted the insurance money) I explained multiple times that I have extreme anxiety and to do this I would have to take extra time off work. They still insisted all X-rays. For one tooth. I made sure they were covered by insurance and explained several times I could not afford. They called my insurance and said everything was completely covered. I went through the excruciating process (they have old equipment) only to be told the tooth I wanted the filling replaced was not as important as other work and they refused to do it. So, I left with a hole in my tooth. 7 months later I received a bill for $248. I called. Thy said insurance wouldn't pay. I explained they told me it was covered 7 months ago and what they put me through forcing me to get all the X-rays that I didn't even need. I was told they would take care of it. Forward another month and I received yet another bill. Again, for initial X-rays that were not needed, but covered by insurance. Now I'm being told insurance won't pay because I maxed my benefits elsewhere. I didn't use the benefits until several months later when I had an emergency. So, this dentists negligence on timely billing, on top of everything else, is being placed on me. I'm discussing it on a Facebook forum and have heard some things about this office. If you've been wronged by this dentist join us on facebook. Currently I am filing with BBB and consumer protection. Based on the dates, there is no excuse. I've been waiting since April to be seen. My appointment was set for September 13, 2022. I got a call the day prior at 4pm saying they haven't been paid and that my appointment would need to be rescheduled. I am now waiting until October 10. I have an infection in my mouth and pain. The one good thing they did(hence the 1 star) is they sent over antibiotics and high dose ibuprofen to my pharmacy. Which at this point is the least they can do. I've never experienced such problems with a dental business before. The only reason I'm not going somewhere else is the wait time. I can't keep these teeth in any longer, I'm suffering. For the people who haven't seen Dr Haymore, keep in mind these comments aren't about him, it's the front desk staffing. Unfortunately, I can attest to the complete opposite care you get from girls upfront (they've always been females anyway) to the dentists and hygienists . I've seen this before in doctor's offices. I don't know how the front gets staffed but clearly and unfortunately not by the superior dentists and assistants they have who do the actual work. So in saying that, I have to overlook the bad service in front because I know I will get excellent top notch quality and at an honest and fair price. Being honest, I know there are quality people who want jobs but the computer systems used for hiring these kind of jobs-these unqualified people know how to manipulate tracking systems and get their foot in the door, is my guess. I think I speak for many but hoping things like this will change!

He decided to use them again after moving back to Tucson and referred ms to them as well. My first appointment went fine except for a little bit of a scheduling miscommunication. I was told my appointment was at 1:00 pm and to arrive early to do paperwork. I did as told and completed the paperwork at 1:00. I waited for another 10 minutes after 1:00 pm and asked when I would be taken back. To my dismay I was told I had to wait another 30 minutes or so. Uh....really? I explained that they told me my appointment was at 1:00 and they told me that technically it wasn't until 1:30 and that I was supposed to be doing paperwork from 1-1:30. I explained that is not what I was told on the phone and told them multiple times I had a time crunch as I had plans that evening. They said there was nothing they could do as there was already someone getting xrays done and I had to wait. I was pretty upset after that, and the xrays didn't go very well either. However that was mostly due to my own issues having a horrible gag reflex and a small mouth which didn't allow for their xray tools to fit very well. However, they did redeem themselves and they were able to accommodate me in a timely manner. I was able to get out on time and they even gave me a gift card as an apology for the confusion with the scheduling. The cleaning and examination went just fine, and Dr. Ricks was very thorough. I booked my next cleaning with them and hopefully there won't be any issues with scheduling going forward!
