Dr Brei and his staff are awesome. I've been going to him for 20 years, my daughter is his patient and now my grandchildren are going to him. If there is one thing on your insurance you should not skimp on, it's your dental insurance. I will always pay the few extra dollars to continue seeing him. He cares for his patients and has a personal relationship with each one. As a child, I had a front tooth damaged. It was discolored and it bothered me greatly. I started seeing Dr. Brei and he didn't suggest a veneer like all the dentists previously. Veneers are expensive and I couldn't afford that. Instead he suggested we try bleaching the tooth. Because of the type of damage and the length of time since it had been damaged, he wasn't sure if it would work. It bleached really well. My tooth still has a slight discoloration to it, but I can handle it so much better. People tell me regularly that I have a beautiful smile and beautiful teeth. Dr. Brei will always start with the least invasive treatment and work from there. He is honest, kind and caring. Whenever someone groans that they have to see their dentist, I always chime in that "I love my dentist" I have referred several of my past co-workers to him and they each agree that he is a wonderful dentist. On only two occasions in my life have I been to a medical professional and left their offices overwhelmed with their professionalism and care. One is Cameron Javid MD, a retinal specialist in Tucson (a brilliant man and gifted surgeon). The other is Robert Brei DDS. I have had Dr Brei perform three badly needed crowns over the past two years and on each occasion his staff has been unbelievably welcoming. His office has always been immaculate and he has taken the time, on each visit, to explain in detail the procedure(s) and has performed them with no pain (even with the anesthesia injections) and with the utmost care. I have never had a problem with my temporaries while waiting for the finished product(s). He saved a molar from having to undergo a root canal and, in the process, saved me a great expense. He is dedicated and passionate about his profession and it shows. There is a reason why many of the other dentists see him for their own dental work (I have three dental friends in town that do). I have left his office in the past thinking "if only every experience were that good" and I don't have that thought very often :)... I don't write reviews that often, but felt compelled to do so after reading the negative one below. I don't agree with any of it: I love his hygienists (and love the way my teeth feel when they are done) and I expected to pay a representative bill. Highest Recommendation to Dr. Robert Brei. What an amazing, passionate and caring doctor. Took care of me when i needed it the most. I have tried for almost 7yrs to get my teeth to stop bleeding. The V.A. only recommended I brush and told me I'm to young for gum disease. I have even had other dentist say that just getting a cleaning every 6 months would stop the bleeding, nothing worked. I now know everything I need to about whats going on with my teeth. One week into our trip to Tucson, my husband broke a tooth. There was no doubt he needed at least a temporary crown. Based on Yelp reviews, I called the Brei office. He was away. The receptionist was able to schedule my husband within two days with Dr Karley Schneider. She was exceptional. As a redhead, my husband is resistant to the usual short acting lidocaine. Dr Schneider was familiar with this and was able to render him pain free for the entire procedure. At every step, she explained what she was doing. She installed a temporary crown that fit well. Two weeks later, the gold crown was attached. Dr Schneider was meticulous in fitting the crown. She was professional, efficient, informative, pleasant and caring. There was no waiting time. The office staff members were friendly and solicitous. The experience could not have been better. The cost was reasonable and in line with his last crown in Alaska. read more

He removed all of my childhood restorations that were DONE ELSEWHERE ( they as it turned out were all leaking, not a good thing!!) and if he had not done this I would have lost these teeth. My teeth were in bad shape from years of neglect and poor dentistry. My front teeth were a mess and one had been knocked loose. It was dead and discolored. My wife recommended I see Dr. Brei and he completely transformed my smile. I did NOT want super white or the fake looking chiclet teeth that so many people have. I'm amazed with the results. I made the mistake of going to a 'dentist in a box corporate dentist' thinking it would be cheaper and fix my teeth problems. It was a huge mistake! I am so glad I found Dr Brei and his staff. Dr Brei is very professional and his staff treats you like the most important client they have when you walk in the door. Due to my visits to the 'corporate dentist' Dr Brei is having to correct the 'get them in get them out' dental work. I have now been going to Dr Brei for over 2 years and he does an amazing job. I've been incredibly impressed with Dr. Brei's office. Both Dr. Brei and his staff are some of the most genuinely nice people that I have met and make you feel so welcome the second you walk in the door. I highly recommend Dr. Brei and his wonderful staff. From the moment you walk through the door you see smiles and very helpful receptionists. I've been on a long journey with major health issues. I am a cancer patient and one year ago I was on a very heavy duty dose of chemo that caused me to pass out in our bathroom and fall straight onto my face. If it wasn't for Dr. Brei, I'd still have the most horrible implants and smile e v e r! I never met a doctor who truly cares about his patients, not just their teeth but their lives and treats them like people...I often joke I wish he were my PCP! I have been seeing Dr Brei and his staff for as long as I can remember...probably about 20 years. His staff has always been friendly and cleanings have been great. I have to go in every 4 months to keep my gums healthy....yay genetics...and I am always happy to go. Great dental care every time!! I have never been told that I needed a treatment that I didn't need and I've never had any issue with billing. It is a very straight forward practice. I highly suggest this practice. Dr. Brei is the fourth dentist my family and I have been to since we moved here seven years ago and he and his staff are by far the best that we have experienced.
