Don't even get me started on how piss poor they run their business. I'm on state insurance and need 3 teeth pulled. I have a heart condition so the oral surgeon has to remove the teeth. I've been waiting since April to be seen. My appointment was set for September 13, 2022. I got a call the day prior at 4pm saying they haven't been paid and that my appointment would need to be rescheduled. I am now waiting until October 10. I have an infection in my mouth and pain. The one good thing they did(hence the 1 star) is they sent over antibiotics and high dose ibuprofen to my pharmacy. Which at this point is the least they can do. I've never experienced such problems with a dental business before. The only reason I'm not going somewhere else is the wait time. I can't keep these teeth in any longer, I'm suffering. I had an emergency crown done here, didn't last very long, crowns should last 5 years, mine lasted 1. I was eating pasta, nothing that should have caused it. They would not honor their work and replace it, LIKE OTHER DENTISTS DO. Very unethical, cheap work. There are way better practices that won't screw you over in town. read more

Today, I took my best friend of nearly fifty years to Orthopros' east location because her local dentist could not extract a broken molar. She was in extreme pain (and this is a woman who has birthed five children!) and was referred to Orthopros for oral surgery. The entire staff (every last member) was polite and attentive to our needs. Our wait wasn't long and each stage of the visit was explained to us thoroughly. Then we met Dr. K! Her bubbly personality preceded her into the room and we were immediately put at ease. My friend, Tammy, is highly anxious at dentists' offices, but her anxiety was mitigated by the care and consideration of the staff and Dr. K's knowledge and experience. The procedure was thoroughly explained and effectively administered and by the end of the extraction, Tammy not only felt physically relieved of the pressure and pain of an infected, broken tooth, her emotional state was much more relaxed. I am not a huge fan of dentists, but I can honestly and wholeheartedly say that the staff at the east side Orthopros are customer-centric oriented and highly trained to give an otherwise horrible event a whole lot of ease. I later asked Tammy how she felt about the experience and through a pretty swollen and sore mouth grunted and gave me a thumbs up. For Tammy, that's five stars! read more

Went there running a little bit late. Called head to secure my appointment and they assured me that they'd contact my building that I was running late. (They didn't do that) and instead once upon arrival had me fill out paper work that could've been done after the appointment just to wait the clock out to professionally ask me to get out and pay for the appointment I missed? That's not right. Straight out scam. Why would you hire someone to take and send calls to other receptionist and they do the exact opposite. Extremely unprofessional never coming here again and I hope people see that this place deserves one star. read more

This is by far the worse place to do business. I was there back in July of 2019. My daughter needed a tooth pulled with having Access insurance they referred me to this horrible place. The office people dropped the ball numerous times. lost our information and never called us back or at all. I had to call every other day and the lady that's verifies insurance was avoiding me . My daughter was in pain. Finally we had a appointment in Oct 2019. all they wanted to do was put braces on my child and didn't care about my child in pain. There office people are fake. They just want money. They don't care about if your in pain. They don't call you back unless you have good insurance. They treat you like crap if you have Access insurance since it takes them a whole year to get paid. I should of sued them after looking at the whole situation and the fact they refused to help my daughter that was in pain. Shame on you Dental Pros for prolonging my child's pain. Dentist are doctor and they take a Oath, stating you will help any patient without judgment of color, race, financial status, etc. All you care about is $$$. they have cancelled my oral surgery on short notice and takes months to get you in again, leaving me in intense pain. they refuse to do anything to try to help me i have called almost daily to try to get in sooner or to get some kind of relief only to be told that they cant get me in still and will have the dentist call me back about the pain by the end of the day. still have not received a call back i cant eat i cant sleep i cant work the pain is effecting my vision because there is a nerve exposed and a tooth impacted and they will not do anything to help me. read more

The dental staff has taken very good care of our orthodontics. If you are looking for a courteous reception desk, you are in the wrong place. Numerous times throughout treatment plan we received salty attitudes and condescending treatment from the front desk. Don't count on the appointment time matching the actual time they see you either. Right now, we're in the lobby 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment (the girl that has been on her cell phone most of the time, just called us back). Don't ask the front desk how much longer either! You'll just get the salty attitude again. You got me for my money this time, but we will probably look somewhere else for the rest of our orthodontics. read more

Amazing ortho/dentist clinic! My fear of going to the dentist has been restored. They made sure I was comfortable and treated me like family. I had the pleasure to have many appointments and consultations with them and got to meet almost all staff who are just wonderful! Being military and going to many different dentists around the country, I have to say that Ortho Pros on Pantano is the best dentist I've been!! All staff are beyond professional and friendly! they made me feel welcome the second I walk through the doors. The doctors are young, full of great attitude towards everything! and could tell right away that they LOVE their jobs! Dr. Michael and Dr.Caroline are very informative and they are amazing at what they do! They have a great communication with one another especially with staff and the patient. Very clean and organized facility and very impressive state of the art equipment! Made my procedures smooth and painless! read more

My son has gone to OrthoPros for three years. Our time here could not be any worse. It is extremely difficult to book appointments. The staff is very rude and not helpful. They advised my son to get his braces on very early and we Have seen very little improvement. Dr.Kacer rarely checks his patients and leaves it to his uneducated assistants. My whole family goes here, my son fir cleanings and braces. My daughter and I for cleanings. There was a HUGE screwup/miss understanding. So much so that I insisted on a full refund of my sons braces. Dr. Kaiser was great!! He and I spoke (however I was never upset with him or his wife. It was the staff), after which I didn't need to get the refund. We stayed!! I couldn't be happier!! The Dr's KNOW customer service!! It seems to be a dying thing these days, but not here!! I put both my girls through braces at this office with Dr Grob. My youngest I think was recommend too early, afterwards every night I told her brush your teeth and put your retainer in.. To her it was like I told her to go climb Everest.. Many many months ago I called for an appt about possible solutions too her now quite crooked teeth. I stood in front of my daughters school calendar while on the phone and made an appt for a day she was off school weeks in the future. We arrived at the appt to find the person on the phone made it for a completely different month. The person at the desk was not at all apologetic and in fact was quite rude, she made it very clear that I was undoubtedly the one that screwed up. I had hoped all the past years and years of monthly payments made to this office might lead me to some kind of break. Now here I am on Yelp looking at review for a different orthodontist while my daughter now finally realizing how badly she messed up has spent days desperately trying to cram on her non fitting retainer.. /: I had hoped this office would help out a previous patient however a scheduling screw up and horribly rude front desk woman turned what could have been a five star review to a one star review.. read more
