    Chicken Parm

Grabbed a take out order of chicken parm and a side salad for dinner on a Friday night. There is a separate back door where you can go solely to pick up take out orders which was very convenient. The back parking lot is very small and can get crowded though so in that case I would try to park in the lot across the side street. The chicken parm was well seasoned and breaded. The house salad was also simple and effective, did the job well. The to go meal also came with a small loaf of bread on the side which was a pleasant surprise! Overall, good food and HUGE portions that lasted me through the weekend! Will definitely go back to try more

Gennaro's Eatery in Boston was a very cute Italian restaurant with delicious food. They give you bread and oil when you sit at your table. The New England clam chowder (not pictured) was delicious. Our server told us they win an award every year for the clam chowder, I definitely recommend. The arancini is good if you like sausage. The chicken parm was the best chicken parm I have ever had in my life, definitely recommend. Our server was super nice and personable and boxed up our food for us and wrote on each of our boxed what was inside. We loved it there but couldn't eat it all because it was so much food with the bread and apps. 10/10 would recommend!

I've never had a bad meal from Gennaro's. Chicken or Eggplant Parm are outstanding. Love their sicilian pizza, very filling and delicious every time. Reminds me of the Italian cooking I grew up with! Portions are great and often I get a second meal out of them. Service is excellent, dining room is small/medium size, but I've never had to wait long, if at all. Wait staff is very friendly! Parking lot is kind of small but I've parked in the bank plaza across the street with no problem before.

We were a bit early for our reservation so were invited to sit at a Cafe table for a drink giving us time to appreciate the room and the mouthwatering fragrance from the kitchen. Our table was ready on time and we struggled with appealing menu choices, both settling on pasta dishes. Our meals were delicious. In fact, our time was so good that we uncharacteristically took desert; a beautiful tiramisu. Sapori is welcome addition to the Quincy dining scene.

I ordered polpette al forno, tagliatelle Bolognese, and Strawberry caipirinha. The polpette al forno meat is soft, tender and juicy. The marinara sauce on it is rich. The caipirinha with strawberry is good. The vodka in it doesn't overpower the fruit. Lastly the main dish, they did a good job in cooking tagliatelle Bolognese. The bolognese sauce is rich and savory. I can taste hint of sofrito in the sauce, which is a sign of authentic Bolognese ragu sauce. They also choose tagliatelle for the pasta which is better because it mix better with the ground beef on the surface compared to spaghetti or linguine. Definitely ask for extra cheese with this dish.

It ended up being one of the best choices of our trip. Pros: The atmosphere is intimate in the best way, and the staff was incredibly attentive from start to finish. The price point was great, especially considering that the food was absolutely phenomenal--truly the best meal we had in Boston. The place was packed for a random Wednesday night, which says a lot. Cons: There honestly aren't many. If I had to pick one, it would be that the restaurant is definitely on the smaller side, so seating can feel a bit tight. Also, watching people attempt parallel parking outside was unintentionally hilarious--not a complaint about the restaurant, just free entertainment. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend giving Molinari's a try. They were amazing, and if (or really, when) we come back to Boston, we'll definitely be visiting again.

Pros: great size, fair price, really cool flavor combinations. Cons: not generous with the "fancier" toppings (like the meatballs on my pizza), flavorless crust, too floppy, overwhelming garlic on mine. I think we would give them another chance because I really haven't found any pizza places that impress me here and they are great price and size for sharing.

They have a great 3 course pasta meal deal that I got last time but I remember seeing the Pork Milanese on another table and I knew I had to get that this time. We started our meal with fried brussels sprouts that came with large chunks of pancetta and a apple cider reduction. All the flavors worked well to balance each other out, we attempted to recreate this delicious combo several days later at home. Next came the Verdi insalata, which was an arugula and watercress salad with apple, pistachio and balsamic, a refreshing followup to the brussels sprouts. Next came the massive pork milanese, it's a show stopper. The breading is impossibly crunchy and not oily at all, while the pork was juicy and flavorful. There was a citrusy fennel salad on top and that paired really well with the fried pork. Every course of our meal exceeded our expectations and I am excited to come back next time to see what's new on the menu.

We went for a date night and were decently surprised considering we live down the street and had no expectations knowing it's tough to find a modern spot in this neck of the woods. Better vibe for a girls night out or date night.
