    Burratta Pizza + sausage
    Chris T.

Stopped in Dot for dinner this past week. First time at Molinari! We were seated right away before the dinner rush. The staff seems nice, gets you what you request quickly! We ordered: Calamari, standard fried calamari with marinara dip sauce. It was crispy and wasn't rubbery but it was definitely bland in way of the batter itself. So the sauce helped. The pizzas were both great! The burrata pizza i added sausage and it had a nice Bianca style oil base. The hot honey prosciutto pizza was full of topping and flavor. The dough for their pizzas are good, still good after air frying it in oven post freezing the leftovers! Will be back.

Presentation: 5 stars Service: 4 stars Food: 2 stars I really wanted to be head over heels for this place. I really really did. No freezer, everything hand prepared or hand delivered that day. So why the low score if the presentation and service are so good? Food. Food is the beating heart at the center of every restaurant. If the food is underwhlming it srags the experience of everything else down, so as a rating it is weighted hevaier than the others. Heres why: Portions: 2 stars. Portions seemed small. When I saw my plate I was underwhelmed vs a plate from a chain like Olive Garden. Taste: s stars. Bland, I'm sorry to say. Normally in Italian food there is an avalance of spices. There is a pungent aroma. I didnt spot many spices in my food and I had to personally request salt to add it to my food as there was none on the table. The pasta is made there daily. I'm no expert but I believe salt is added to pasta when you make it? Maybe I'm wrong and tradtional pasta dishes are very bland and flavorless. I had to add a lot of salt and pepper to make the food palatable. I'm not a conosoir(sp?) by any stretch but when I eat I expect to feel some measure of joy and satisfaction from the food itself. I didnt feel that joy. Eating was just a task I was accomplishing at the restaurant as I spent company with loved ones. I hate to leave this review because the people seemed really nice. I hope they dont hate me after they read this.

My fiancé and I went here for our anniversary dinner and it was wonderful! The inside is cute and has a family feel and it's a smaller more intimate spot. We got pizza and pasta and both were delicious. The chicken cutlet I got on my pasta was some of the best chicken I've ever had. I also recommend asking for the bread before the meal, the oil it comes with is really good.

Honey truffle pizza with prosciutto & bacon

We were looking for a new pizza place to try & decided to give Molinari's a visit. I've probably driven by thousands of times and never realized it was right here all along! What we ordered: -calamari -burrata pizza with sausage -honey truffle pizza with bacon + prosciutto -ginger ale -Shirley temple Okay, so the first two things that arrived to the table were: Shirley temple & the calamari. I'm really not much of a soda drinker but every so often, I'll go for a Shirley temple. This one was very syrup-y upon the first sip and after mixing it, it still tasted pretty syrup-y, which I wasn't really a fan of. The calamari arrived very light in color & we were already kind of skeptical before trying it. It was as bland it looked & as we thought but luckily the sauce did help. Now, for the pizzas, probably the only thing that I would come back for. My favorite of the two we ordered was the burrata pizza with sausage added. Both had great flavor but I definitely like the burrata one more than the honey truffle pizza. For the pizzas, we were given large empty, cleaned out tomato sauce cans to use as stands for the pizzas. I liked the concept but the cans didn't serve as the best base for the pizzas. Definitely have to be careful handling the pizza slices because no sturdy base. Overall, I would come back for the burrata pizza and try other pizzas that they offer. Our server was really nice & super attentive. Parking: can be tricky because parking is limited. We lucked out with a parking spot right outside.

Molinari's is an Italian restaurant located in Dorchester. I had lunch there and street parking is free for 2 hours during daytime hours. Inside it is a table service restaurant with a small bar area. I ordered the pappardelle bolognese for $18 and the food arrived less than 15 minutes later. It was just what was advertised and what I wanted. A big bowl of fresh hand cut pappardelle with a large dose of meat sauce on top consisting of beef and pork with tomatoes, garlic, onions and seasonings to give it added flavor. It was a lot of food that tasted very good. I really liked the pasta and there was plenty of meat sauce left over. Gracie provided table service that was warm and friendly. I would be happy to return.

Open kitchen with solid bar service and good vibes. Fresh ingredients and nice size portions with a taste that will make you come back. Pizza game is a winner also.

Incredibly delicious, homey meal! We walked in a Saturday 7p with easy parking and prompt bar seating, where Grace warmly welcomed us. Food (4.5/5) - Bianco ($20)- delicious prosciutto and arugula, with balsamic drizzle - Fettucini Carbonara w chicken cutlet ($23+3)- blown away! scrumptious, handmade noodles w crispy cutlet. not heavy at all! star of the night. - Cannoli ($12)- so light and not overly sweet, easily my favorite in Boston Will def be back!

We continue to come here because the food is outstanding. Always sit at the bar so we can watch the greatness as it happens. Tonight, we tried the bolognese and chicken parm - Everything was spectacular as usual! The kitchen and staff are a well oiled machine. This is my south of North End favorite! p.s Don't forget to "buy the kitchen a round" and enjoy the cheers when the bell rings! They deserve it!

consistently EXCELLENT ! I love the food here. it's fresh, tastey, and freshly cooked to order. I'm just glad I don't live closer out I'd gain a lot of weight by eating there too often! I highly recommend this place to all foodies. Best food South of Boston.

We've been here 3 times now and have had the chance to try a bunch of different dishes and we haven't been disappointed yet! Here are the things we've tried so far (as of 2/2026). The Tre - $16.50 (for 3): This without a doubt is one of the best values you can have here! We've tried and recommend the following: - Fried Mozzarella - Nicely seasoned and great flavor. A bit heavy (obviously!). - Crispy Calamari - Also well seasoned and the Calabrian aioli pairs perfectly. - Italian Wings - Juicy and tender! The ranch sauce is also quite good. - Meatballs - Tender, flavorful and not too dense! Caesar Salad - $13.25 - Great price for the amount you get. Their dressing is also made in house and can actually be quite strong, flavor wise. We've found it best to have it on the side and add it ourselves. The first time we had it, it was a perfect amount but the 2nd time it was a bit overpowering when they over dressed it. Mozzarella and Tomato Sauce Pie - $16.50 (small) - Their pizzas here are phenomenal. The charcoal oven is really what makes a huge difference as the flavor it imparts onto the dough is superb. New Haven Original Clam - $21.50 (small) - Great pizza with ample amounts of clams. Would also recommend. Calabrian Stinger - $22.50 (small) - This pizza is quite saucy and very atypical when it comes to a pizza. HOWEVER, the flavor is stupendous with the hot peppers and hot honey. Would definitely recommend but be warned that it's a bit droopy from all the topics and sauce. Rigatoni Vodka - $23 - Great flavor in the sauce. Huge fan of it and would recommend. Do note that we were able to sub our pasta from rigatoni to fettuccini (from the Tagliatelle Bolognese). Speaking of which... Tagliatelle Bolognese - $24 - Great ragu sauce and not too heavy! Very fresh. Sally's Burger - $17 - Good burger but nothing that special. Price is great though. Vodka Parm - $17 - Again, the value is unbeatable and you get a ton of fries with the dish. It's basically a pizza folded in half with crispy chicken, mozzarella and their fantastic vodka sauce. You won't be left hungry if you can finish this! Overall, this is our go to when a pizza craving hits. The vibe here is also great with high ceilings and attentive wait staff. Would 100% recommend.

The Bruno family, managers, and staff have always been welcoming, often taking a few moments to stop by and chat. Their hospitality is one of the many reasons we frequent there.
