    Hot Honey Pizza
    May H.

This is a nice spot if you're craving quick and reasonably priced Italian food in Quincy, especially pasta. I really like the ravioli -- the mushroom ravioli and chicken cacciatore in particular is delicious. The other pastas are pretty solid too, but flavors can vary. I've had the Bolognese on different days and sometimes it tastes better than others. I also enjoyed the hot honey pizza and the Italian street fries appetizer -- both worth trying! Service is usually quick, and it's easy to get seated without much of a wait. I will say I wish water refills were a bit more frequent, but otherwise the staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, it's a convenient and satisfying place for casual Italian.

The food was delicious! Came here with a friend who is gluten free, and we both had many great options. I ended up going with the Braised Short Rib Panini, which was 10/10. We also got the gluten free caramel cheesecake which was great! Our waitress was very attentive, there was no wait and

The food was amazing first of all. We got meatballs as an appetizer and they were so juicy and tender and the sauce they were in was so good my mom and I cleaned the whole little skillet. My orecchiette was the perfect balance of lemon, sausage, and rabe, without being too oily.

I had a great time here. The food and drinks were great AND there was live music. I'll insert the pictures below of what we ordered because I can't remember the names, but they were all very delicious and full of flavor. Although the pasta was a bit watery it was still very good. The drinks were sweet enough for me (as someone who likes sweet alcohol). The servers were nice and attentive as well. I would definitely come back to try more!

Such a tasty Italian Restaurant located in Quincy Center! Truthfully, I had no idea it was a local chain, but they have numerous locations in MA. I went on a Wednesday, and there is a $20 prix fixe 3 course meal every Wednesday! I think it's an awesome price for great food -- even though I didn't get it this time around. I ordered the Scallop and Pear Salad while my friend got their mushroom ravioli. I loved the candied walnuts, crispy prosciutto and pickled pears it came with. There were tons of fresh scallops as well which was great. The salad was an easy 10/10 for me. My friend mushroom ravioli was really tasty as well, creamy and decadent. Service was alright, the waitress forgot my friend's drink and we had to remind her to get it for us. Cute restaurant vibes/environment -- could see it being a great spot for date night! Overall would come back again, and will need to try the $20 prix fixe menu!

Viva Evviva Trattoria! Not sure why this cute and new Quincy Italian restaurant only got 3.5 stars. It definitely deserves more. It is so warm and cozy inside, like a Christmas blanket LOL. We have been here before but came back after shopping the Kilroy Holiday Market. They have exceptional Italian food. From their Gluten-Free Pizza to salads and pasta, everything is so fresh. The staff is super friendly and they seem to enjoy their job when we dine here. For parking, there is street parking or a garage which is great and also inexpensive. I highly recommend eating here and enjoying comfort food and great cocktails. You won't be disappointed. Cheers!

I went with 4 other friends to this location, I originally had my first experience to this set of restaurants In Stoneham. We had an enjoyable experience and meal here. We started off with appetizers first for all 5 of us and then we each had our own entrees and desserts. Our server Mandy was very friendly and bubbly with us and she made sure we had everything we needed in a timely manner. We sat close to the windows so we had lots of light and the atmosphere was comfortable and spacious. I would definitely come again and try something else, either here or other locations.

As most my follower know, I'm a foodie and love to write about great restaurants. About a year ago Evviva Tratoria opened in Quincy. It was a welcomed addition to the restaurant scene. For years Quincy has been fairly limited on the selection of restaurants. I was fortunate enough to go to the opening party at Evviva to catch a glimpse of what it was all about. At the event I had the opportunity to try many of their dishes from pizza to pasta and a great selection of appetizers. The food was nothing short of amazing! I was immediately hooked! The menu has something for everyone and options for glutton free dishes. My kids love the bread served at the beginning of the meal - it's super fresh and is accompanied by olive oil. Some of my faves are the Italiano Sandwich and the chicken broccoli Alfredo pasta. Evviva has a very cozy bar with a focused selection of wine and creative cocktail list. I tried the Joel Gott Pinot Noir which was an excellent pairing with many of their dishes. I'm a margarita fan and they make a killer one !! Next question is ...how is the service .... Nothing short of outstanding! I met one of the bartenders Carmela - she was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu/wines and cocktails and makes a fantastic margarita- see the pics! Side secret - they have a beautiful outdoor patio in the back of the restaurant that overlooks Kilroy Square. Evviva is highly recommended!! Cheers !!

The food is not made upon ordering. I tried to order the penne vodka without the bacon in the sauce. I was told that "that's the way it comes." So it was pretty clear that the cook is not making any sauce when you order it. (This isn't a red sauce that takes hours.) The pasta is from a box so the prices that they charge for it are not justified. Overly loud Spanish love ballad music was playing at 5 PM in this nearly empty restaurant. Between that and the gigantic white feather decorations just over my partner's head I would say the vibes were off. My partner had seen this restaurant while walking around and thought it could be a good place to try out. He was pretty upset that the restaurant was so meh and that he took me there for my birthday. Being a fan of Jordan Knight and knowing he's a partner in the restaurant made the occasion feel even more special. In the weeks leading up to our reservation, I made multiple attempts to contact the restaurant to help make the evening memorable. I reached out by email, Instagram, OpenTable, and phone. My calls were never returned, my messages went unanswered, and after finally speaking with someone and being told a manager would call me back, I never heard from anyone. When we arrived, the host wished my wife a happy birthday and asked where we'd like to sit. There wasn't much guidance on seating for a special occasion, so we chose a table outside. Ironically, many of the birthday wishes my wife received that evening came from other guests rather than the staff. As for the food, there were some highlights. The tuna tartare was a generous portion and had good flavors, although all of the pickled ginger was piled together rather than distributed throughout the dish. My wife's lobster roll was delicious and easily large enough to share. My bolognese was also a very generous portion, but unfortunately lacked the depth of flavor I was expecting. As we approached the end of dinner, I kept expecting some acknowledgment of the occasion given all of my attempts to coordinate beforehand, but nothing happened. No manager stopped by our table. No one followed up on any of the requests I had made. After dinner we moved to the bar, where it took nearly twenty minutes to get a bartender's attention for drinks. We also decided to order dessert at the bar, which took an equally long time to arrive. The cannoli was very good, but the tiramisu was disappointing. A candle was placed in the tiramisu, which we appreciated, but that was the extent of the birthday recognition. No one stopped by to wish her a happy birthday, no manager checked in, and there was no personal touch despite all the effort I had made beforehand trying to make the evening special. While waiting at the bar, we observed the manager arrive to meet friends. Rather than checking on guests, he appeared focused on socializing. We watched him take off his jacket, tell his friends not to order a Guinness because "it doesn't pour well," and order a drink for himself. At one point, after being interrupted, he loudly remarked, "I guess it better look like I'm working right now," before walking away and putting his jacket back on moments later. We also overheard him say, "This bartender sucks," seemingly because his own drink was empty. Watching a manager speak that way about staff and guests within earshot was disappointing and unprofessional. The most disappointing part of the evening is that this wasn't just another dinner out. This was my wife's 50th birthday, and I went out of my way to try to make it special. I wasn't looking for anything extravagant...just some acknowledgment, communication, or hospitality. Instead, despite multiple attempts to coordinate beforehand, we left feeling overlooked and disappointed. The food had some bright spots, particularly the lobster roll and cannoli, but the lack of communication, slow service, and the behavior we witnessed from management left us with a very different impression than we had hoped for on such an important milestone birthday, my wife left feeling overlooked and disappointed. Sadly, she regretted choosing Novara for her 50th birthday and visiting all the way from San Francisco to experience a restaurant she had been so excited about for so long.
