This is an old school, small-town General Store. It is located on the corner of State Road 46th and 1st Street in Geneva, Florida. They have a little dining area walk to the right and a very small convenience store type place to the left. They have some pre-made sandwiches ready to go. The woman behind the counter was friendly and it is good to see places like this still exist. Sometimes when you live in a major city, you forget that there is a whole world outside of gas station convenience stores and the like. The general store part does not have a lot of items. The dining room, though empty, seems to be the big focus on this place. I guess it would be more appropriate to call it the eating area because I did not see any servers. Well this is an old school, small town type thing, it does seem that the modern world is encroaching upon Geneva, Florida. There were two gas stations, both offering food options right next to this general store. However, for now, this is a great place and I am sure that the community embraces it.

You walk up to the counter, place your order, grab a seat and they bring out the food to your table. Stopped in on a whim as we were passing through on a Sunday morning and were hungry for some breakfast. What we found most impressive, was the excellent selection of craft beers they have available not only on the shelves but also in the coolers. Beers are competitively priced and service is friendly.

We went on a Saturday morning for breakfast. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. The prices are very affordable for the portion and quality served. I had scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, and a biscuit for $6.99! The biscuits are homemade and I smothered mine with honey! The breakfast potatoes are made with red potatoes and were seasoned perfectly. The staff is friendly and efficient. The drinks are self-serve. I want to go back to try the lunch and dinner menu. Everything said "homemade" in the menu description.

I've passed by this place forever and final stop for some lunch. I was super happy with my Rueben sandwich! My husband loved his pulled pork. We will definitely be back!

Holy cow! Stopped in on the way home from Sanford airport on a whim. Walking in it's definitely a hole in the wall. It looks like a general store with sporadic tables and chairs. Upon walking in instantly greeted by the lady behind the register. I asked what her favorite sandwich was, she responded Philly cheesesteak. I've had a lot of Philly cheesesteaks of my time so was a little apprehensive because of the hole in the wall. One word, wow! The meet was juicy, the vegetables tender and flavorful, the bun was buttered toasted with some seasoning, excellent! I think I'll fly out of Sanford more often just so I can stop here on my way home.

I love supporting small business so we were excited to support an Oviedo business. The reason for my 3 stars is that I just didn't love the pizza. We ordered an 18" Bianca and 18" cheese with toppings. The crust was very tough and honestly didn't have a lot of flavor. I prefer a doughy pizza but since this is brick oven, I understand it has to be thin, but it was burnt in some spots and without a lot of flavor overall. The Bianca was pretty good in terms of cheese and we added spinach but the ricotta was flavorless. I think the ricotta can really make or break a white pizza so adding some spices would go a long way. For the cheese pizza, we did half with 3 toppings and the other half with 3 toppings. The taste was ok, but again, the crust left a lot to be desired. I don't know if it was an off night or maybe this is the norm or maybe I'm just picky. I'm from the northeast so good pizza is a commodity and not easy to come by. I can't say we'll rush back but based on the other reviews, we may come back and try other menu items. We didn't dine in but the location and building itself is cute and feels like a small town family business, which we love! Hoping this was a one off and the other menu items are better!

Being an Oviedoan, you hear nothing but good things about this place, and I was feeling pizza, so it just made sense. Location is super fantastic, just a stone's throw away from my place and historic downtown. Take-out only, so there's only one parking spot on property. Get in, and get out. I love it. Service was amazing. They had my food ready when I got there, and the team were some of the nicest folks I've ever met. As for the pies, we got two 12-inches. First was the Fig and Prosciutto (Organic figs, fresh mozzarella and prosciutto baked on a drilled olive oil crust, finished with arugula served with a side of balsamic (no red sauce)). This was a really good pie. The bitter arugula with the sweet figs with the tang of that balsamic, just really well designed. I was surprised a mom and pop came up with this. Very nice. Then came the Chicken Bacon Ranch (Ranch sauce based, chicken, crumbled bacon and mozzarella cheese (no red sauce)). This one was a lot of fun. Usually chicken on pizza is served in chunks that are too big, but this chicken was diced, so you got chicken and bacon in even amounts in every single bite. It was really cool. Big fan. These 12-inches are also perfect for getting two and splitting them. You'll have one or two slices leftover the next day, which is fine, because these pizzas eat well cold. We also got the Garlic Knots (1/2 dozen garlic knots with a side of marinara sauce). Amazing knots. They go for a lot of little ones, so you get an amazing crispy outside-to-soft inside ratio. Garlic and olive oil everywhere to get some good stuff in every bite. Overall, I had no idea that this kind of quality was literally a mile away from my front door. I never had a local go-to pizza place before this day, but man, I am so glad.

I also enjoyed the walk through of the menu and the different dishes/pizza ordered. My friend and I started with the Burrata. It was phenomenal. I loved the flavor of the balsamic glaze. The rosemary focaccia bread was superb. For pizzas we decided upon the Star Beckham and the Marco. I really enjoyed the star shaped pizza. The triangle crust was packed with a good amount of ricotta cheese. There was lots of toppings and some of the freshest ingredient pizza I've ever had. The Marco pizza was good getting to try the stracciatella cheese for the first time. The restaurant is really cute. Its an intimate dining room area and you can see into the kitchen seeing the pizzas cooking. I had a great time here and a great meal.

We were lucky enough to have a free meal voucher from my girlfriend's work, so we decided to spoil ourselves. To start, we had the burrata e crudo, and between the fresh cheese and the addictive rosemary bread, we were practically fighting for the last piece. The prosciutto was also spot-on, and unlike the pre-packaged stuff you get at the supermarket, it was perfectly marbled and didn't have any of the annoying stringy bits of fat that get stuck between your teeth. You can just tell that Mister O1 really cares about the quality of every single thing they put on your plate. Next, we each got the star-shaped specialty pizzas, with my girlfriend getting the Star Beckham and me getting the Star Carlos. Both of these pies blew us away with their flavors and freshness, especially with that creamy warm ricotta folded into the Star-shaped crust. Some people might not usually like pizza crust, but trust me, even the most vocal crust-haters will reconsider when they try a slice. Now, the extraordinary thing about Mister O1's pizza is that they take the traditional Romana-style approach to pizza -- thin, light, and crispy. Unlike the glorified sponges sopping with oil that you find at your local Pizza Hut, these pizzas were so light on the stomach that bloating is nonexistent, and some of my more gluten-sensitive friends have even been able to enjoy their pizza without any issue. If you're full-blown Celiac or vegan, don't worry; they've got vegan and gluten-free options too! To finish our night, we ordered the Nutella and banana calzone, and honestly, whoever came up with that idea needs a big fat kiss on the mouth. It was stuffed with ooey-gooey warm Nutella, and the banana slices were practically spilling out of it as we tore away at it. If I hadn't been full from eating my entire pizza in one sitting, I would've ordered another. If you have kids, be careful sharing this with them, because they'll turn into piranhas over this desert. All in all, Mister O1 has quickly become our favorite pizza joint near UCF, and I proudly give it five big booms of approval.

So, sadly, I cannot speak to the food, and for now, my rating will remain squarely in the middle until I have the opportunity to try their food options. With that said, my rating is also in the middle because the service was SLOW, SLOW, SLOW. While it was dinnertime, the restaurant itself was not super packed. I opted to sit at the bar and sat there for about 10 mins before anyone serviced me. Had I known it would have been that slow, I'd have gone to the restaurant next door. Again, I just wanted a beverage as I waited for my time to pass for my hair appointment at the salon in the same shopping plaza. By the time I got my house glass of pinot grigio, it was time to pay my tab and go to my appointment. So, much of the time was eaten up in simply waiting for a bartender to service me; I was a little put off. In fact, they did not find anyone to service the bar area until it was about three of sitting there. Anyways, despite that, the staff was actually very kind. They did apologize for the wait, but you know what they say about first impressions. While I won't be letting this deter me from actually giving them a proper try, I will keep this first experience in the back of my head. Despite this, the venue is spacious. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating. The bar seating is limited, but they have enough. The environment seemed lively and very family-friendly. Also, pricing is GREAT! Their entire menu is very reasonable - so that is a plus! It is located in a shopping plaza, so there is more than enough parking. Again, I'll be back to give them another try and see if they are able to sway my opinions any further.

I wanted a quick, delicious dinner one evening before heading out on a road trip the next day. So I swung by to see what this recent move-in had to offer sleepy little Oviedo. Ambiance was very, well, Oviedo. A giant mural adorned the wall. Chickens, the Welcome sign, even a sandhill crane. It was very pretty. Service was superb. There was a nice cashier lady who gave off a owner or manager aura. We talked through the menu together and came up with a couple of delicious options for me to order. Option one was the Tikka Chicken Pizza (Tikka Sauce, garlic, fresh mozzarella, red onions, tomatoes on a Naan crust topped with cilantro). This thing was a lot of fun! A nice, thin, crispy crust, and mozz. But accompanied by a delicious tikka sauce. A little freshness from the onions and the tomatoes, and you have a very nice pie here. Something like that pizza is something a kid would try, or a subdued palate adult would try, and act as a gateway dish that would get them deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole that is the best cuisine on the planet. I love it. I also had a curry, which was nice. Very flavorful. I was expecting a little bland, but no, lots of good spice and flavor. Accompanied with a proper amount of basmati rice. Yummy. And I accented the whole meal with a cheesey, garlicky naan. Which is probably universally accepted as the best bread on the planet. Love that naan. Wash it all down with a mango lassi, and this place knocked my socks off. I don't know what brought them here to Oviedo, but I sure am glad they came. It's nice knowing that I have a fast-casual Indian place right down the road. Will definitely be back.
