From the moment I stepped into the Geneva General Store, I was greeted with the warmest welcome that immediately set the tone for a delightful visit. Nestled in the heart of Geneva, Florida, this gem of a diner surpassed all my expectations with its unbeatable combination of friendly service, mouthwatering breakfast options, and a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff here are truly the stars of the show, treating every customer like an old friend with their genuine smiles and attentive service. Their efficiency is remarkable, ensuring that even during the morning rush, my order was on the table in no time - hot, delicious, and just what I needed to kickstart my day. The breakfast menu is a dream come true for anyone craving that classic, comforting diner food. I indulged in a classic breakfast or bacon, eggs, home fries and buttered toast. It's strange to stay, but this was probably the best breakfast plate I've had in years-- and that's coming from the someone who treats brunch like an organized sport. The wholesome quality of the food, coupled with the generous portions, guarantees you leave with a satisfied smile and a full belly. Adding to the charm of this local favorite is its spacious seating arrangement. Whether you're flying solo or part of a larger group, finding a spot to settle in is a breeze. The interior exudes a quaint, rustic vibe that invites you to relax and linger over your meal. And for those who appreciate a side of entertainment with their dining experience, the Geneva General Store doesn't disappoint. The promise of live music and social events on weekends caught my eye, making it clear this place isn't just about good food but fostering community and fun. The availability of WiFi is a thoughtful touch, catering to both the early birds looking to get a head start on work and the casual diners wanting to scroll through their feeds without burning through data. It's small conveniences like these that show the Geneva General Store goes above and beyond to meet the needs of its patrons. In conclusion, my visit to the Geneva General Store was the icing on my Geneva,FL trip. With its friendly staff, quick and delicious breakfast, ample seating, and a lineup of engaging activities, this diner is a must-visit for anyone in or passing through Geneva. Whether you're a local or just in town for a visit, make sure to drop by for a taste of classic diner favorites served with a side of hometown hospitality. A truly wholesome experience awaits at the Geneva General Store!

This is an old school, small-town General Store. It is located on the corner of State Road 46th and 1st Street in Geneva, Florida. They have a little dining area walk to the right and a very small convenience store type place to the left. They have some pre-made sandwiches ready to go. The woman behind the counter was friendly and it is good to see places like this still exist. Sometimes when you live in a major city, you forget that there is a whole world outside of gas station convenience stores and the like. The general store part does not have a lot of items. The dining room, though empty, seems to be the big focus on this place. I guess it would be more appropriate to call it the eating area because I did not see any servers. Well this is an old school, small town type thing, it does seem that the modern world is encroaching upon Geneva, Florida. There were two gas stations, both offering food options right next to this general store. However, for now, this is a great place and I am sure that the community embraces it.

You walk up to the counter, place your order, grab a seat and they bring out the food to your table. Stopped in on a whim as we were passing through on a Sunday morning and were hungry for some breakfast. What we found most impressive, was the excellent selection of craft beers they have available not only on the shelves but also in the coolers. Beers are competitively priced and service is friendly.

We went on a Saturday morning for breakfast. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. The prices are very affordable for the portion and quality served. I had scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, and a biscuit for $6.99! The biscuits are homemade and I smothered mine with honey! The breakfast potatoes are made with red potatoes and were seasoned perfectly. The staff is friendly and efficient. The drinks are self-serve. I want to go back to try the lunch and dinner menu. Everything said "homemade" in the menu description.

I've passed by this place forever and final stop for some lunch. I was super happy with my Rueben sandwich! My husband loved his pulled pork. We will definitely be back!

Holy cow! Stopped in on the way home from Sanford airport on a whim. Walking in it's definitely a hole in the wall. It looks like a general store with sporadic tables and chairs. Upon walking in instantly greeted by the lady behind the register. I asked what her favorite sandwich was, she responded Philly cheesesteak. I've had a lot of Philly cheesesteaks of my time so was a little apprehensive because of the hole in the wall. One word, wow! The meet was juicy, the vegetables tender and flavorful, the bun was buttered toasted with some seasoning, excellent! I think I'll fly out of Sanford more often just so I can stop here on my way home.

Good food. Old time atmosphere. Friendly service. Definitely not fast food or restaurant chain feeling.

We only eat here for the ride in the country. Not a mask in sight. Nice people, but don't expect the CDC when you go.

Definitely far from the expected Publix experience…read more The produce quality and freshness could improve. Better rotation of inventory is needed to filter out expired or spoiled items. I've received moldy berries on multiple occasions when ordering through Instacart from this location, which has made me hesitant to purchase fresh produce. My experience with the pharmacy was also disappointing. I arrived around 8:20 p.m. to pick up an antibiotic prescription, only to be told nothing was ready. When I explained that it was an antibiotic and time-sensitive, I was told I would have to wait until sometime over the weekend or even during the following week because they were closing at 9 p.m. I was also told that no other pharmacy would be able to fill it any sooner and that there were no after-hours pharmacies in the area. Concerned about delaying treatment, I asked if the prescription could be transferred elsewhere. Both staff members responded with noticeable attitude and seemed inconvenienced by my questions rather than trying to help. Ironically, after I requested the transfer, the prescription was filled and ready in about five minutes. I later noticed that the prescription had been designated as a "Priority Acute" medication in the pharmacy system, indicating it was recognized as time-sensitive. That made the initial interaction even more frustrating because it showed the medication could be prepared before closing despite being told I would likely have to wait days. I wasn't expecting special treatment, just accurate information, empathy, and a willingness to help with a time-sensitive prescription.
