No signs telling us where to pay so the kid told us when we pulled up. He offered us two options so we picked the more expensive $13 one. When our car went through, it was still pretty bad so we waited by the tire and rain-x station to see what could be done. No one showed up so we pulled up next to a vacuum. Still no one. I looked up the number and asked them how to get the 'supreme wash' and that I'd just gone through. The person said that I have to specifically ask for it. WHY WOULDNT YOU OFFER ME THE BEST PRODUCT?! When it's sunny out they are really busy so just be aware that you may be waiting for your detailed if you paid for that. My dealership gives me a coupon for this place every time I get an oil change, so for a free Brushless car wash it's ok. However, it's winter, I have been too lazy to wash my vehicle for a while and my Toyota was in a desperate need of a bath. I was shocked when the mid grade wash was $15 with tax. The two guys that are suppose to "pre-wash" your car at the entrance do a very lousy job and act like they are sooo put out. My car came out with many spots and areas that were missed. There is no attendant at the end of the wash to make sure the streaks are taken care off. I definitely expect more for $15. Unless I have a coupon for a free wash, I will not come back. read more

While this location is most convenient for me to visit, I often bypass it for other car washes in the area. The prices are typical and the staff at the counter are just fine, but my car is never as clean as I'd like it to be when I leave and I end up rewashing the rims and trunk area of my car because the sprayers and scrubbers never seem to reach these areas on one go. read more

Pulled in payed and tipped the wash attendant asking him to please mitt my power antenna before I put it down. He stated he had no mitt (WTH ?) but would use a towel at the end of the wash tunnel to wipe it. Came out, NO ATTENDANT. Looked in rear mirror to see if he was on the way (which he wasn't, I waited), but then saw soap all over the back of my Explorer. I got out to look and also saw that my factory wheels were only half cleaned. I went around for a rewash and said something about my wheels and soap, and the car came out EXACTLY THE FREAKIN' SAME ! Soap on back, half dirty wheels. I parked, got a towel, wiped my wheels, wiped the soap off the back window and hatch, AND WIPED MY POWER ANTENNA ! GIVE ME MY GD TIP BACK ! Why is a car wash not able to properly clean a popular vehicle like an Explorer for $9 ? A mitt at the tunnel entrance on my wheels, and a quick towel wipe on the rear at tunnel exit would have made this a 4-5 star rating. But what eludes me, is why when I came back around, as a tipping customer that pointed out my problems, did I have the same exact problems again the second time ?? On 02/10/13 a sunny day, and what a nice day to wash my car. So I drove down to General car wash and paid my hefty price for my wash and then drove on to my destination. Well when I got out of my car, I saw missed spots on every side, front and back. Like any other person would go back and ask to run through the carwash again. When I arrived, I was greeted by one of the employees and I explained why I was back. He then said he can wipe the spots off with a rag, so I agreed. After when they were done, I left. I then got out of my car, and to my surprise, they were still there. They never even wiped them off. They just looked like they were touching up my car and never did a thing. For the price I paid, and the lack of professionalism, and the false act of remedying the problem, I will never go to the carwash again. In every other state, you pay for a car wash and they also towel dry it for you - not in Washington (so far). I wish they had an option to also clean the interior - they have the vacuums but they are all diy. The car came out clean - which was great because it was super dirty. Not sure how this is brushless as it seems to be just like brown bear with what sounded plastic straps beating the side of my car. UPDATED: I've heard from General and I've been educated. I had stop in about 2 weeks ago after my road trip, An this place had the options to either have them wash and detail your car or you can do it yourself. I always have them wash and detail my car because it's never that to busy and they do a really good job inside and outside my car. The workers here are Awesome and easy to talk to and they always make sure you are satisfied and happy when you leave. read more

I always passed by this place on my way home so I'm glad it's close enough to bring my car to every couple of weeks. The guys working there are nice. used the self serve vacuum and the self serve car wash. both worked very well and my car is now clean, inside and out!! only fhings i would mention... bring ear plugs (vacuum is SUPER loud), and bring cash. the token machine (what the vacuum machine takes) only takes cash and there arent any ATM machines. overall, very good for your money. read more

I'm not impressed at all with the interaction that I had with one of the employees today. I drove by, turned around by a couple of miles to get my car washed. When I got to the attendance station, I tried to ask questions was immediately told that they did not have time because they were closing in 5 to 10 minutes had to ask for a business card had to ask for a receipt didn't get the name of "young" individual who was less than knowledgeable and less than professional. This is my only car wash I go to. The General has employees that actually care about their customers and want to make sure you get your monies worth. I got my car washed, the #1 wash, about $18, and there was a smudge spot on my back of my car so I went to go ask for a rag to take care of it when a young women who works there saw I was looking for help and ran over to me. She quickly grabbed a towel and wiped down the spot and some other wet spots off my car. She apologized for having the sponges in the car wash not to get that spot, I completely understood. First off, don't confuse this with a "touchless carwash." My trip through this wash didn't go so well. It failed to get a lot of spots clean. It did a horrible job on the tires and wheels. I drive an Audi avant (wagon) so it's not like there's something unique about the vehicle to prevent it from coming clean. Even upper parts of the car like the windows had sections where they didn't come clean (and I'm not even talking about behind the mirrors.) But not only did it fail to clean, it also left some nasty, black marks on the car... seemed to be some sort of tar or grease. This place is totally not worth it. read more

I have been in a couple of times over the past few years and had a good wash - nothing really memorable about the experience. The gas station part is what makes me happy. I hate having to get out of the car in the snow or rain to pump gas. These guys are just full serve so I can stay dry and warm in my car. The prices are pretty much the same as self serve so why not? I come here every week to wash my car, for around $5 you can get 6 tokens that will give you around 11 minutes of washing time and 3 minutes of vacuuming. The staff there is nice and there is this good looking girl that works at the gas station next door. They also have machines that dispense air fresheners and towels. The process is easy, put in coins, rinse, soap, wax, rinse again and dry. I like this place. read more
