This place is quick and efficient despite the crowded conditions. I have been coming to this location for years. The attendants are friendly and professional. Through the years I have seen the same faces which tell me BB treats their employees well. That's always a plus for the community. This location is on the corner of Broadway and 36th St. It is a busy spot and often the line extends out onto the street. You enter from the south east corner of the lot. You have to be mindful of the alley and the business on 36th if you are waiting in line off the lot. When you get onto the lot be mindful of cars going to the vacuums and gas pumps. No matter how long the line it goes quickly. They have two drive up kiosks that do the transactions and regulate the flow into the wash lane. They take cards or cash but they also have a membership for a monthly fee. In that case you will have a barcode decal the machine will scan. The attendants are always close in case someone has a question or problem. This drive-thru wash is one of the better ones in the area. I have not had an issue with car damage caused my the machinery. Just heed the signage and you will be good. Once your wash is done you can park at the edge of the lot near the vacuums and towel off the water the blowers didn't get. Towels are available in a small room off the wash lane. That's about all I can say for a car wash rating. Happy travels. read more

Great for cars that love to Off road they have Undercarriage wash; although sometimes it doesn't do a good job. You have to ask the guys before you do the main wash to use their powerful hose and special pressure washer to do a little extra and they're pretty good about it. I think this is one thing that sets them apart from other car washes they go the extra mile basically they promise dirt free car wash or you do it for free again. read more

It was extremely busy this morning and I ended up getting the wrong wash. It happens, ya know? I went up to one of the employees and explained the situation. Took about 3 seconds for them to remedy the issue. That's customer service that all businesses should aim for.. they set the bar pretty high. I remember coming here as a kid and absolutely loving it.. that feeling hasn't changed. You get an excellent wash without paying a lot of money. This is a great car wash. They offer multiple levels as many of them do, however the service is above average for their type of business. It's a tunnel car wash which does the best job in my opinion and they have self service car wash stalls for those who prefer that or have large vehicles. But the big deal to me is How they go out of their way. They always check to make sure the car is set up not to get damaged, and today when their credit card machine went down instead of demanding cash they just waved people through and gave a free car wash at the highest level to anyone who wanted one. that is outstanding service in my book and I recommend this business. read more

This is pretty much the only place I get my car washed. I just love how easy it is and how helpful all the staff are. You can stop off get some gas, and decide from the pump if you want to add a car wash. They also do Safeway rewards so if you are lucky you might save some money off the listed gas price. There are 3 different types of washes, I usually just go for the cheap one and call it good enough, its about 6$, but way easier than having to do it myself by hand. If you are more motivated than me they also have vacuums onsite so you can leave with a really clean car. This place is usually always crowded but it goes so fast, even on free car wash day which happens once a year you can get in and out in a decent amount of time. You get a code on your receipt from the gas purchase and then drive over to the kiosk to input it. If you are more of a regular washer you can always buy a membership or package deal as well. Workers almost always come out to the machine if you seem like you are struggling to get it sorted, if you pull up too far away they will even input the info for you. They also help make sure you are guided on to the track correctly and point to the signs that instruct you to put your car into neutral, etc. The have a scrub brush and work off some of the gunk while you get started going through the tunnel. I find the car wash a perfect, quick way to destress after a hard day at work. Sure it's a chore, but since childhood the experience has mesmerized me. It's very Zen and I love the pretty colors of the foam. To me there is nothing greater than the feeling from having a clean car for a short period of time. i've been going there over a year now and have never had an issue with them. One time my windshield wiper in the back came off and they were very quickly out there to get it and put it on for me. I have noticed that they do tape them on for people that want that, they are very friendly and I am glad to find a place that I can get a nice car wash and have good service read more

Sometimes reviews are unnecessary, I mean how do you rate a car wash since they are all about the same, but here it goes. Well it does as it claims, it washes cars I got a month for $20 bucks which is a bargain. I wish they had people whipping down your car after the car wash and I really with they weren't so busy, particularly after a rain or snow, but it is what it is. Easy in & out, and the monthly membership is a good deal. I had some damage to my car last year here, and they took care of it.

I got my canopy door ripped off and destroyed at the Everett location, After initially indicating they would take care of it, they waited several days to get back to me and then reversed course. They now say a canopy is a "after market" component and as such they cant be held responsible for damage.....despite the fact that 1/2 the trucks on the road have one. See the below review, they tell this guy that he has to remove straps. They let me through without so much as a question or even one word like "is your canopy locked?" and then say sorry "not our problem" All I ask is if there was a chance the scrubber would tear my canopy door off by snagging the latches,(even though it was shut tight) then say that. Don't let me go through then say "sorry not our problem" How many trucks have canopies? Sign says the staff at the site has ultimate say on what is allowed through. If that is true, why didn't anyone say anything? They asked if my wipers were off and asked if I wanted my antenna removed. By the way a factory authorized canopy is not what after market is meant to describe. They will accept all the $ from people with canopies but if something happens-too bad. BEWARE - THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY COULDN'T HAVE KNOWN THEIR EQUIPMENT COULD SNAG A CANOPY LATCH (YET SOMEHOW EXPECT THAT I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN) BASED ON THE BELOW RESPONSE FROM BB CAR WASH IN 2021, THEY DID KNOW-yet now tell me to contact my insurance company even though I was in not in gear and on an automated conveyor, still somehow my fault according to them even when we watched the video of my fully closed canopy door being ripped off when snagged by mechanism. At first we were very dissatisfied with the customer service we received today. We were using a coupon from our Mazda dealership pushed the appropriate button and proceeded and were told turn around because we had made an error. We were attempting to do as asked, when we were approached and asked impatiently if we wanted to upgrade. He seemed very annoyed. I was all ready to give a horrible review when we were ready to leave and were met with an apology, our coupon and our upgrade money and a Happy Holidays wish. All's well that ends well. read more

The staff is friendly and professional and they do a good job at a reasonable price. The extra 5 dollars for the ceramic protection is worth it, in my opinion. The weather around here can take it's toll on a vehicles finish. Anything to protect it is worth it, in my view. read more

I've only used the automatic car wash but it worked really well every time I've gone through it. The gentleman directing you into the bay was friendly, the car wash was quick and it didn't leave any residue. The only thing I don't like is having to pay additional money to use a vacuum, but that's because I've been spoiled by other car washes with free vacuums. It's $2.00 for 5 minutes though which really isn't bad. Love this place. read more

Ive been going to Brown Bear for over two decades and have always found it to be way above average as car washes go. BUT. recently, and two times, I went to their self wash site that's right next door to do it myself since my new car won't go through car washes. First time I thought it was the fault of the stall I used because when I got home I had to go over the entire car again to get the dirt off. Second time I went I tried a different stall and had the same experience. The car was still filthy when I got home. I had used the foaming brush carefully the second time to make sure it was clean. Also you cant add tokens when your out of time, only $3.00 a crack even if you only need a few seconds to clean up. This is pretty obvious to me they are ripping people off big time. It cost as much for me to do this wash myself as the automatic car wash costs. Bad mark on you Brown Bear, I didn't think you folks were like this. My advice, wash your car at home! read more

I paid $18 for an very bad car wash. I am from Mesa AZ and the car wash near me charges $8 and a person brushes off the front of the car and the vacuum is free, I went through the $18 car wash and there was still bugs on the car so I went through again and still bugs, No one touched my car. I went home and wiped the bugs of my car. I realize everything costs more in Washington but for the money they should at least do a good job. read more

This is my preferred drive through car wash in the area because my car is always the cleanest when I come here versus other car washes. I always return home and give the car a quick once over on the inside of the doors, rims, etc. and this place gives me the most for the money. One of my complaints with most car washes is that they miss the rims, but mine are always 90% clean visiting here and I only have to touch up the deep nooks and crannies. They almost always give the back of your car a quick scrub on the way in but on my last visit they did not. I did find a scrap of one of the automated rags stuck in the small gap of my car's trim after this last visit. That was a little concerning, but it did not pull or damage anything, and I was able to pull it right out. read more

Also, the attendants no longer use the brush to reach where the car wash can't get. It used to be our go-to car wash, but now it's no better than a regular gas station car wash. :( read more

I've been using this place to wash my car for a few months now but the last time I went, the automatic wash broke my license place frame off and bent the actual plate itself. And then I saw that my front windshield had been completely scratched up from the brushes they use on the inside of the conveyor system. This has never happened to me before at a car wash. I can literally see the scratches everytime it rains. I won't be coming back to this spot or any Brown bears from now on; don't want to risk having another part of my car damaged. read more

The road to my place of work is unpaved, so my truck always gets really dirty. I took it to Brown Bear and was pretty pleased with the service, and the staff. The attendant was all smiles, and looked like he was enjoying his job. I asked for the mid-level wash ($10). My truck has a few battle scars so I was told the guy that I wasn't sure an automatic wash would remove everything. After the wash, the attendant touched up the areas that the automatic wash missed, which really made my day. Overall pretty great place to get a car wash! read more

This place is close to home and the price is reasonable. On a sunny day this place is very busy. The line can be long at times so be prepared to wait. I will say the line moves rather quickly and the staff is always attentive and willing to help to make sure the line keeps moving as quick as possible. New cars should get the $14.00 wash. Make sure you use the free towels to dry off your vehicle. You can also pay to use the super vac to clean the inside of your car. Brown Bear Car Wash is better for the environment. I like this little car wash - it's $10 even for the medium - the 'Beary Good' wash - or whatever it's called. Anyway, the guys working there wear shirts & ties, which is a nice touch. The only problem I have is to save money they don't wipe down your car anymore. Never thought ID be reviewing a car wash place but I really like Brown Bear car wash. I've always had greet results when I take my Mini there. They even provide towels for you to touch up your car after the wash. They now have a car wash pass. For $19.99 per month you can get unlimited Essential car washes. They put a small transponder on the windshield (behind the rear view mirror) which us barely visible. It's a great deal if you go at least once a week. read more

Car wash itself was perfectly satisfactory and what I was expecting. I wasn't expecting, however, for the car wash attendant to be completely rude. I was confused as to how to enter (admittedly, it wasn't my brightest moment) but she was rude and yelled at me about not following her directions. Having never been there before and traveling on an unfamiliar busy street, it was very difficult to determine where to enter. Several of the entrances on Broadway are blocked so I turned onto 36th to enter. Apparently there is a "system" where you only enter from a certain direction when they are busy. It would be safer for new customers and much appreciated if they could put up clear signage on Broadway and 36th about this. read more

The guys that work here are always friendly and helpful. My bike rack has to come off before I can go thru and they always take it off for me and put it back on. If I have cash I will give them a couple bucks for their effort. If your vehicle isn't clean enough the first time, they're happy to let you go thru again. I only wish the complimentary towels weren't so wet before you use them to wipe down your vehicle. This is the only car wash I'll use. read more

Friendly nice & fast for our first time there. We got the berry best wash it was worth it. The guys is dress in tie it was neat to see. The guys scrub all the bird poop off thank you. It's freezing but sunny & i needed my car washed badly. Drove for 15 mins to get here it was worth it. However, as I departed the line-up of cars waiting to go through the car wash was backed up out of the lot, and down the street a block - I kid you not! I've been here a few times before and everyone has always been very courteous and nice. Today I went to get my car washed again and their system was down. The staff was even more cheerful and was giving everyone a *free* Beary Best wash! This is so amazing and incredibly generous for a company to do.
