I work for a Non Profit in the Medical Center and we had an urgent plumbing issue work last week and our water had to be shut off. We have used Gemini Plumbing and contacted them. They came right away and after numerous hours the problem was fixed. The service tech was extremely kind and was very efficient. I received the statement for the services and feel they were very fair. Could not be more pleased with the service. They came right out and fixed our problem. Service was fast, professional, and reasonable. Had to have our toilet replaced. And - we only have one bathroom, so needed to be done quickly. Gave us the option to going to Lowe's and buying the new toilet ourselves (thus saving money) while he did the prep work. Took him up on that. Got it all installed in about 2.5 hours. Looks great and didn't cost that much. Had to do some minor repair work, but thank goodness didn't have any issues with tile. Service was about $325. Toilet from Lowe's was $200. Bonus: We are a family who supports Union labor whenever possible. Gemini is part of Plumbers Union Local 68. Union strong! read more

I have never in 30 years of using a plumbing company been so disgusted by their invoicing practices. The technician was very polite and professional but the owner is as corrupt as you can be. Bottom line - they send me a bill with two line items one that said hours and the other materials. Materials was $499 to fix a pipe. I asked kindly for a breakdown of the costs. They replied asking if i ask a restaurant for a breakdown of their food costs when I get my bill. They refused to give me the breakdown. Then when i told them i had a call into the plumbing association about whether I had a write to ask for this information, they hand wrote two bogus bills that were ridiculous. Never use this company. I am surprised they are in business. Finally I told them I was sending a check for the bill and instead they took the liberty to charge my credit card. They won't respond because they know I have all the emails with this and actually more disgusting communications from this company. Again he plumber was actually very good to work with I just hope he gets paid fairly. read more

I felt compelled to write this review. I rent a home and upon moving in, found a small leak under the kitchen sink. Put a bin under the pipes to catch the water, empty it out when it fills and moved on with my busy life. No biggie! Our landlord, who is a very nice retired elderly gentleman who lives out of town, about 2 months later calls to see how everything is and if our move went well. I mentioned the small leak and he insisted on fixing it even after I insisted it was no bother at all. Like I said he's very nice man! He calls Gemini Plumbing. They call me to set up an appt. The gentleman they sent was here for no more than 10 minutes. Said it was fixed than left. It was fine for only a day than the slight leak was back. Come to find out he charged my poor landlord $500 for a 10 min job that did not fix the leak. I tried calling on behalf of my landlord (didn't want to bother him again about this minor thing again) but was told I'd be charged again for them to fix what should have been fixed in the first place. Tech arrived at 0920 as soon as he arrived he stated he forgot a part and departed at 0926. He came back at 1010. He finish the job at 1140. We were charge $417. We called the company and asked about the charge and we were told that the clock starts from the time the tech arrives. To me that is a scam to get more time. Job was to install a toilet. I have install many toilets before. This one was upstairs and did not want to mass with it. They charge $99 dollars an hour. Good job in the install; however, it is not a hard job. read more

As good as it gets. Called last week and talked to very pleasant young lady. Asked about the usual 4 hour window that most contractors give you for a repair. She informed me that she could "SET" an appointment if I took the first one in the morning (9 am), which i jumped on. "George" showed up on time had all the tools and supplies he needed and did the job promptly. Here's the best part, the cost was $433, which may sound like a lot but I previously kicked out a plumber form "One Call Plumbing" who wanted $1,200 for the same job (somewhat complicated relocation of hose bib on roof top deck downtown). Lastly, these guys are also the go to plumber for the building maintenance staff where I live. read more

Asked to install a simple garbage disposal. After the install the electricity in the kitchen no longer worked. The plumber eventually left us with a kitchen without power saying we needed to call an electrician. The electrician was another $500 and Gemini plumbing threatened to put a lien on our home over the $180 bill for their "services" AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

I had Gemini out to fix a small leak right outside my house. They were unable to turn off the water at the meter, so rather than telling me (I had gone inside the house) so that I could call the city, they decided to cut the line on my side of the meter to install another cut off valve. In doing so, they called another plumber to the house, which meant I was now paying double for them to spend several hours doing what the city could have done for free. About a week after they left, I had a new leak at the street on the pipe they cut. I called the city to turn off the water (they replaced their valve for free) then another plumber to fix the leak. This plumber said that after Gemini cut the pipe, they left it unconnected. Lots of $$ spent, but what bothers me most is how much Gemini charged me for work I did not ask them to do and after talking to a manager in their office, I feel like there is no regard for customer satisfaction. read more
