I thought it meant the dryer filter, which I always clean after each load. I thought it was a sensor problem on the dryer. Then I thought about the 22 year old vent from the laundry room to the outside that you can't see, let alone reach! That was it! It's $59 for him to come out, and I feel he was very honest, because I wanted him to take the back off my dryer to check inside and he said I didn't need that because there were no signs of a problem there. I did end up spending $300+, but I now have a permanent, non-flammable, non-crushable connector hose (they aren't even allowed to sell the hose the appliance store used when they installed it two years ago) and a critter-proof outside vent (he found old acorns in the vent pipe). Dryer fires are real! This is not a paid advertisement, even though it sounds like one!

He came and stated the thermostat was bad and had to order a new one. Wednesday he came out and installed a new thermostat, stayed a few minutes and left. He no sooner left and it stopped working then came back on for a few minutes, then went from heat to air all by it self, then stopped working. I called and two other service men came out on Thursday morning. They stated it was a communication problem, would replace all wiring from thermostat to main unit and to outside unit, iF THAT DID NOT WORK WOULD NEED A NEW MOTHER BOARD. THANKFULLY REPLACING THE WIRING SO FAR RESOLVED THE PROBLEM. I have found all service men polite and considerate. My problem is the advertisement 24/7 service not a fact, a misrepresentation. I was without heat five nights and fout and a half days. The temperature was very cold. I live alone and I am soon to be 83. One main reason I went with this company was Jorden the sales person mentioned the service being 24/7 which is important for someone my age. So when I called on Sunday and given a date for service on a Tuesday, I found that to be a misrepresentation.
