Patio is great to be out on. Really good service too. Deviled egg appetizer was on fire and we ate them up. Crab cake sandwich...ditch the chunk of iceberg and try arugula for flavor and aesthetically pleasing. A little more spice in the remoulade would be better, but crab was good and fresh. Husband had the regular cheeseburger and fries, again with the chunk of iceberg, some other type of greens should be used for this level of dining. Other than this, it was fantastic! Will be back to try more menu items.

I had been here before when it was Acadian Coast. It was a little disappointing that they seem to still have a fly infestitation along the window but that was my only disappointment. The service was excellent from the hostess to our server, John. We had issues with two of our items (queso was runny and shrimp tacos had the tails on the shrimp) and John was apologetic handled the replacements quickly and efficiently. The entrees are large enough to share amd reasonably priced. The deviled eggs are a must have!

I Came here Saturday night May 20th. I'm disappointed that I trusted Gastby's Grill to deliver a wonderful experience for my birthday! If you read the reviews below you will see the majority are not happy about the speed of service! It takes a long time to receive meals and appetizers! We set over 30 mins waiting for appetizers, than the waiter came and asked were we ready to order dinner, while we still did not receive appetizers! I sent back two meals that were not good! The second meal was cold I did not eat it and I explained to the waiter and she still charged me! We were a party of 8 so once we received the tab it was all together. We asked if we could have it split two ways we were told no and that's fine but it's how we were told. "NO SORRY WE DONT SPLIT TABS HERE" loudly and rude! Others in our party were missing drinks and sent back food as well. The drinks is probably the only thing that was good here plus my Deviled eggs! The restaurant is made so beautiful! Such nice decor! Service and food does not amount to the price you pay and paying a high amount is not an issue but only if it's worth it. I will not be returning!

My first time at this place. We went here for Valentine's Day and we had an alright time. The appetizer were the best part, the quest and puffy tortilla chip (reminiscent of a puffy taco shell taste) combination was AMAZING 8.75/10 The devil eggs with bacon jam and the shrimp was the start of the show. 10/10. I would go to happy hour just for this and the queso and chips. The lobster roll was not that good to me. I didn't finish it. I have eaten a lot of different lobster rolls and i make them myself and it just wasn't up to par in my opinion. I wouldn't get it again. Overall I would come here for the appetizer again in a heart beat but not for the entrees.

I am ecstatic that Gatsby's is opened a grill restaurant in the neighborhood. The food has always been delicious and well worth every penny. I ordered the Cobb salad and the Gatsby's Prime Burger with French fries. Delicious, yummy. Love the atmosphere always. Happy that the patio will be opened. The staff was lovely, Gatsby's always has exceptional staff, good quality customer service. Definitely going back to try more on the menu and enjoy the ambiance. I went back for a 2nd go round, I ordered the BBQ Burger - LAWDY have mercy it was so GOOD. Gatsby Meatballs hit the spot and to top it all off the Woodford Reserve Bourbon neat. Magnifique ~ Gatsby always satisfies the tummy, the wallet, ambience and energy.

Service very quick to sit us down waiter took about 7 min to come get our drinks not being rude I was timing it though . The restaurant is very nice inside and has a great sit down area outside. Server was great and polite , food was fresh ordered a burger, calamari, deviled eggs and the seafood pasta. Calamari was great comes with shrimps and some peppers great combination or food and good size serving , delived eggs were the best I'd say definitely try those. Now for the burger it's very good full of flavor not sure the name but It came with a egg very worth it, the seafood pasta is delicious as well no complains on maybe a lil to much oil and butter but overall delicious would I eat it again no I'm not a pasta fan but I enjoyed it . This location is brand new very nice inside and out highly recommend if you want to have a nice dinner or lunch in a place that looks luxurious this is it close to downtown next time I plan on trying a steak also the have a bar . They do happy hour 4-7 during the week. I recommend to give it a try . Unfortunate update about 3 hours later so, I had the seafood pasta that's all I've eaten today once home I started feeling bad a very bad stomach ache now I'm in and out of the restroom.

We went to try out this past weekend and the food and ambiance was great. They have a great outdoor patio with an outdoor, indoor bar. The menu ranges from steaks, pasta to burgers. The bacon maple syrup appetizer is to die for along with the shrimp deviled eggs. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and it was delicious . I can't wait to go back and try out their steaks. We will absolutely return here very soon.

The service and ambiance here is A1. I had the shrimp taco and tried the angry chicken. The shrimp tacos were a 6/10 and fries 5/5 a bit soggy. The shrimp could have been blackened more and had more flavor. The angry chicken sandwich was overpowered with the buffalo sauce but the Ceasar salad was a winner. I also tried the Gatsby Margarita with peach. 7/10. I would definitely come back to have a few more of their drinks! Service was awesome! I'm giving it 3 stars because I came for the food not the drinks. Hopefully next time it'll be better with a different entree.

We just left here and I have mixed feelings about this place. Our waiter was very friendly and courteous but my goodness he was SLOW. The food is great but the kitchen is also extremely slow. The appetizer alone took about twenty minutes and our entrees took forever as well. The food tasted amazing but none of it was hot when it came out. Please keep in mind that this place was completely dead tonight. The lack of customers was the first thing I noticed upon arrival so I can't understand why the service was dragging. Im on the fence about giving this place another shot. I forgot to take a pic of the appetizers but we got the deviled eggs and chargrilled oysters which were great.

    Chicken Fried Steak

Deviled eggs with bacon jam: These are the best Deviled eggs I've had in a while.  The fried shrimp was glazed with a Thai Chili sauce. Chicken Fried Steak: The chicken fried steak itself was actually really good. The problem is they serve lemon butter on the steak instead of gravy....terrible idea. I didn't know or I would have asked for it to be omitted.  All entrees are served with brocolini and mashed potatoes. Both were good! It would have been very nice to have cream gravy. I asked for some and there was none in the establishment. I've never heard of anyone serving chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes without a gravy option. The negatives: My dining companion had a molded Strawberry in their drink. Yep, true story. Sent the drink back and they replaced it. The macaroni and cheese was terrible.  An undoctored box of kraft mac and cheese taste 10 times better than those dry noodles we were served. They serve lemon butter on top of everything. Terrible idea as lemon butter does not go over everything. Overall, this is one of those places that's a hit and miss. Some food was good and some a no thank you. They also need to add a brown or cream gravy to the chicken fried steak and have as an option for mashed potatoes.

The food was amazing and a reasonable price! My partner and I went after a long day of work and the environment was so relaxing and beautiful and just what we needed. The complimentary bread was great too. Service was excellent! For a recently opened restaurant we were impressed!!

The dining room is chic and feels very upscale but comfortable with a large open fire kitchen that was really fun to watch while dining. Between me and hubs, we had a Pan de campo, an order of Gulf Oysters "casino", (4) dressed oysters, a 16 oz dry aged ribeye, a snapper entree and a side of crab fried rice. We finished almost everything except a quarter of the Pan, about a quarter of the rice, and about a third of the ribeye. All were great dishes and would definitely order again. We skipped dessert because honestly none stood out to us. He said their popular dessert is the souffle but they were sold out. Our total before gratuity was about $250 and that included one cocktail. Hubs had their "classic" old fashioned which he said was excellent! Overall, highly recommended if you don't mind the splurge or for a special occasion!

He ended up being one of the best aspects of our experience that evening. Our waitress wasn't nearly as good. We started by asking for ice in the water from the waitress since they just give you room temp water. After 10 mins of seeing her serve other tables and ignoring our request, we then figured the water boy would make it happen...and sure enough he did. We then ordered the grilled oysters, which are very lightly cooked, almost seemingly steamed more than anything, but they were very good regardless of the cooking method with the sauces and garnishes and pickle juice added. Next up was ordering the entrees. The menu here is a little strange with numerous vegan choices with strange titles and only a few items with protein. To top it off, there are not many choices period. The waitress explained that the left side is basically the apps, and the right side is basically the entrees. I knew I wanted to try the wagyu flat iron steak which is priced pretty high here, compared to other wagyu flat irons I've had at other restaurants across the US. We couldn't really decide on a 2nd main dish then the waitress mentioned the off the menu special which was a scallop pasta so we picked that thinking it sounded delicious. The entrees come out about 15 mins later, and we take our first bites and we both thought, oh no, if we share the other person across from me isn't going to like this dish because it's too salty. I tried the steak first and noticed the sauce being extra salty, then I tried the pasta and the pasta was way worse, but the scallops didn't seem to be affected. We immediately told the waitress the next time she stopped by....and she just said okay, and walked away. I figured she would go get the manager....but nope...she just kept on serving other tables. At this point we thought to ourselves only the oyster app was decent.....and no reason to look at the dessert menu since we had already spent over $100 on food we could hardly eat. Sure enough, the waitress stops by a 2nd time and asks if we'd like to see the dessert menu. I couldn't leave fast enough and told her we'll skip. Needless to say we both left hungry as the portions were not only not edible, but also fairly small. The water boy also stopped by and offered to turn on the heater if we get cold. Boy, I wish he was our waiter instead. For a supposedly Michelin-starred restaurant, I feel they really got this one wrong.

Even my friend who normally avoids mocktails was very impressed. Apps: Crab Hushpuppies - 10/10: Crunchy, crabby, and came with a fantastic honey butter sauce. Caviar Tater Tots - 6/10: Well done -- they literally whipped the potato on the inside -- but at $37, you are paying more for the caviar, which was missing that fresh, creamy saltiness you normally seek. You also only get 4 tots. I would just get two orders of the crab hushpuppies. Mains: Chicken - 10/10: The truffle sauce was dreamy, and I think they could sell it on the streets. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender, and the dish also came with flaked truffles on top. I normally do not order chicken out, but this dish makes me wonder what I've been missing. Lobster fettuccini - 7/10: I don't think this is the dish to get here. The lobster didn't taste the freshest, and it also didn't have a lot of lobster to begin with. I know. "Fine dining" and burgers? But that's what I wanted. I searched the web and found the Chefs Table in Vintage Park, and it wasn't too far from us here in The Woodlands, so we decided to make reservations and head there. From the moment we entered, we were treated like special guests. The ambiance is rich, but not overdone or stuffy. Simply classic and relaxing. Our booth felt private and unhindered by conversations of nearby diners or wait staff bustling past. Our cocktails were perfect. The calimari we ordered as an appetizer was probably the most tender and delicious either of us have ever had. And when our burgers arrived, I was so happy. It was exactly what I had set my mind on when selecting my birthday dinner experience. The blend of brisket and chuck was absolutely delicious, set atop a perfectly buttered toasted bun, with some crispy onion straws on top. And the fries... oh my! I rarely if ever eat fried food - so clearly this was my big day to completely go off my standard fare, but those fries had the perfect crunch and flavor. Apparently, when my husband made our resv, he told them it was my birthday, so our server brought out a delightful complimentary spiced cake dessert after we were finished eating - for us to share. It was the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Thank you to the entire staff at The Chefs Table yesterday, for helping to create a memorable and delicious birthday feast for my husband and me. We will definitely be back to try some other delights because the menu is packed full of amazing looking dishes.

I feel like whenever I ask for certain things on the reservation they are never addressed so it was a great start to finally be recognized! Food: We got the beef Wellington, ravioli, naan bread, and sticky toffee for dessert and everything was 12 out of 10. The service was wonderful; our waitress had a true passion and told us the story about the Chef. We truly enjoyed our experience and will absolutely be back again. I think this is one place that I would trust to go out of my comfort zone on food and everything will be phenomenal.

Yet we had to wait for some time before someone came to seat us. Our water glasses were not refilled unless we specifically asked. After we started our main courses, neither the server nor a manager came by to even ask us how the food was; and this is despite the restaurant being only a quarter full. After we finished and were leaving, the person in front did not bother to say good bye or thank us for coming. Very surprising behavior for an upscale restaurant.

Outdoor patio with fans is great and the music selection is much improved and a good volume so you can hear your dining companion 2. Bolognese pasta is still great 3. New lamb dish is delish, meat is juicy 4. Gelato trio nice to end in a refreshing cool note 5. Filled beignets always wins especially when there is strawberry filling 6. Carajillo yummy Areas to improve 1. Leeks appetizer was a huge disappointment- not that tasty and had a big gob of dressing on the side 2. I don't eat raw or caviar so I wish they had more appetizers It's great dining for special occasions, highly recommended!
