Cute lil market with a variety of goodies from packaged snacks/drinks to hot food. Their staff also seemed welcoming and nice. I just went in for a drink but their breakfast bagels and avocado toasts looked amazing! Maybe next time...

Leaving on vacation and this was near my gate. Has healthy options like fruit and salads. As well as a ton of sandwiches. I went with the tropical açaí bowl. This was so fresh and so yummy! I loved it. Pricey but it'd airport prices.

Awful, more than half the wrap was empty. Don't come here for any of the prepared foods

Gateside Market was conveniently located across from my gate. The market offers a variety of food and snacks from pastries and bagels to sandwiches and pizzas as well as a variety of drinks such as coffee, tea, juice, and smoothies. I had some time to kill before my flight out of SFO, so I grabbed an almond milk latte from Gateside Market. Service was fast and friendly. My latte was great; they let me add they honey and cinnamon myself. Both items were available at the pickup counter. I would return.

Great customer service....ordered and delivered in reasonable time. Had an egg, bacon, cheese on an everything bagel...Yummm... Plus coffee of course....I then went back and ordered an Italian sub for the plane.....it was good as well. Highly recommend them.

sooo many food options both in the market & on the menu!! they also have lots of example plates shown in the display cases of what the menu items look like which was super helpful. I got an everything bagel toasted w/ cream cheese and a vanilla almondmilk latte! Both very good and prepared quickly. I don't come to SFO airport much but next time I'm here i'll try their peanut butter banana toast! :)

Italian sandwich on sliced sourdough. BOMB!

Love gateside market thank you for coming to SFO. This is just what we needed! Healthy and delicious options when traveling. I tried their Italian sandwich which was absolutely delicious. Their bread and meats are all quality. I also grabbed a smoothie which was incredible. Blueberry almond did not disappoint. The icing on the cake was the huge variety of snacks that they carry. And I'm talking healthy snacks, as a mom of 2 i really appreciate this so much!

Came across Sidewalk Juice! It was expensive, but what isn't in San Francisco these days. My Twister (acai + pitaya) Bowl with almond butter ($1 extra) was $18.50. It was close to my gate F15! I got my order within 3 to 5 minutes. The bowl was quite good. I feel like the base itself could have been more flavorful, but no other real complaints. Fruit was fresh! I probably didn't need that much food, but my eyes were bigger than my stomach. The chocolate croissant was all right, but it was a little tough but it tasted good. Almost tasted like a chocolate chip cookie. The middle part of it was actually pretty tasty. By the time I got to my almond butter toast, I was so full. The portion was huge. I probably could've shared with a friend. But it was good. Pretty thick though, at first, I questioned why they gave a fork and a knife with it but now it makes sense. You definitely had to cut through it. Overall, the experience wasn't bad. Would I have maybe opted to eat somewhere else at the airport though? I definitely wouldn't cancel out that option.

They have different drink sizes available. Plus lots of different flavors that you can even mix and match! We got a Calamansi and Strawberry. Both were superb and a nice mix of sweet and their respective flavors. The sugarcane is pressed in front of you--it's so fresh. I highly recommend these flavors! I was excited to see a pink berry, brings back college memories of getting froyo as a treat. But right next to pink berry is a little take out place called the plant. They also have smoothies. For $11 a cup, it's pretty pricey, but the juice was delicious :) I got the one with beet juice and it came out such a pretty color. I suggest asking for a separate cup of ice if you like your juice cold. Otherwise it comes out kinda room temp with no ice. Because I guess this is a healthy food place, it attracts people who use jars and look down on the compostable cups all the Togo places are forced to use at SFO. Palmetto Superfoods has become one of my go-to spots whenever I'm craving something refreshing,…read morefilling, and actually made with quality ingredients. Their açaí bowls are some of the best I've had in the Bay Area. You can tell they take pride in using authentic Brazilian açaí, and I love how customizable everything is. The fruit is always fresh, the toppings are generous, and the bowls strike that perfect balance of feeling indulgent while still being packed with wholesome ingredients.

I was casually walking around Downtown Burlingame and decided to walk into Palmetto Superfoods…read moresince I saw a sign about the Matcha Chill line. Palmetto is known for its açaí bowls but I was curious to try a matcha drink. For a Monday afternoon, the shop was pretty empty and the staff was working on things in the back. There are a couple tables available for use and they were all vacant during my visit. There was a self-serve kiosk by the entrance to place orders and it took a while for the staff to come out to start preparing my order. The Matcha Chill Latte was described to have premium Japanese matcha powder from Uji blended with water, sea salt, vanilla extract, oat milk, and agave. This sounded more like a frappe than a latte and sure enough my drink was blended like a smoothie. The matcha flavor was evident but the agave made it taste sweet without being overly sweet but to the point it didn't taste quite like an authentic Japanese matcha drink. It was also weird that shortly after receiving my blended drink it looked like the contents were already separating. The drink was also a bit pricey for the size of the cup. I would not get anything from the Matcha Chill line at Palmetto Superfoods again and would rather go to a place which specializes in matcha to fulfill my matcha cravings. It is definitely best to stick with the açaí at Palmetto's.

I hate having to update this review because I originally gave this business five stars, but…read moreunfortunately, the quality and consistency of the food have changed enough that I can no longer stand by that rating. My biggest concerns are inconsistency and excessive seasoning, particularly the amount of salt. I understand that when ordering something like the bife acebolado or frango acebolado (grilled chicken), the accompanying sides may change. However, when ordering online, the sides shown with the meal create an expectation of what you're going to receive. It's frustrating to drive out to pick up your food, only to find that what you were given is different from what was listed, without any notice or explanation. More concerning, though, is the salt. The last three meals I've had have been progressively saltier, with this most recent meal being completely over the top. The chicken was so heavily salted that I actually had to wash some of the seasoning off before I could eat it. At that point, I wasn't tasting the chicken or the other flavors. I was tasting a mouthful of salt. That's especially disappointing when you're making the effort to support a small business and paying the prices being charged. I should be able to enjoy the food without having to figure out how to make it edible first. Beyond taste, excessive salt is also something restaurants should be mindful of because customers have different dietary and health considerations. I want to be clear that the staff have always been friendly, and I've had good experiences with the food in the past. The portions and flavors, when properly balanced, are good, which is exactly why I originally gave this place five stars. The pastries also tend to sell out quickly, which says something about the demand for their food. But right now, the inconsistent sides and extreme amount of salt are seriously hurting the overall experience. Please, stop over-salting and over-seasoning the food. Seasoning should enhance the ingredients, not completely overpower them. If the consistency and seasoning were brought back to where they used to be, I would have no problem raising my rating again. I'm hoping the owner takes this feedback seriously because this is a business I want to be able to continue supporting.
