Stop here for a quick bite on a layover. The sandwich was made fresh to order right in front of you. I requested a few ingredients to be added (red onion and cucumbers) to the Castro Sandwich. It was delicious!!!! The service was quick and friendly. The prices were too bad considering it was in an airport. Highly recommend it.

A hot latte for me - made with local Equator Coffees! - brightened my morning airport visit. A made-to-order turkey sandwich satisfied my guy. Klein's hit the spot for what we needed. Beyond made-to-order sandwiches and coffee/tea drinks, they offer pastries, pre-made salads, chips/snacks, and a cold case of canned and bottle beverages. Service was friendly and efficient.

The bad reviews here say 'expensive'. $13-14 for a sandwich or meal at the airport is actually pretty good! Add $5 for chips and a can of Coke and for the price and convenience...I think it is pretty good!!!

Did the job. Had breakfast sandwiches and regular sandwiches made to order. Perfect easy experience at Terminal 3 (United flights). Everyone was friendly. Lots of coffee options too.

FOOD I had their haight sandwich, essentially a BLT sandwich with avocado. It was savory and creamy without being too salty and filling. However, it was definitely on the pricey side $15+, but sadly to be expected due the deli being located in the airport. SERVICE Despite a line out the door, the staff filter through orders very quickly. There are two sections of the deli-- a coffee/pastry counter and the bagel/sandwich counter. The coffee/pastry counter filters through orders much more quickly than the sandwich one, so if you're in a rush, I would grab a bite at this counter instead. AMBIANCE There is no seating available in the deli itself, but ample seating is available in the terminal at various gates or designated eating areas.

The "Castro." Tasty, and hit the spot!

Had an early flight out of SFO, and the hunger was starting to kick in. Came across Klein's Deli and decided that a sandwich would be a good pre-flight meal! On to the food! I ordered the "Castro", which is turkey & roast beef, plus all the fixins', on a French roll. It was tasty and hit the spot! The service was quick and friendly as well! The bonus is that this restaurant is in front of plenty of tables. Overall, this was a great airport meal, and I'd come here again!

Staff are nice and they have a good assortment of sandwiches. I got the veggie breakfast sandwich and it was nice and hot! It needed salt but I think you can request it. It tastes simple. They managed a long line and they were courteous! The veggie breakfast sandwiches had spinach, red pepper, cheddar and egg. The egg was fluffy. They also have Equator Coffee. Overall I had a good experience.

This deli is inside SFO D gate,we are looking for something to eat but not too heavy before our flight and this place have it,we ordered the breakfast bagel with bacon,a bit pricey but all foodplace here have same price points .It was good since they toasted the bagel, service is ok as well as the ambiance, there's enough tables and chairs in front of the deli.

Found a gem in the D Gates at SFO: Klein's Deli. Fresh, customizable, and just what I needed. I was flying out of SFO and needed something quick but satisfying before my flight. None of the other restaurants in the terminal looked appealing, so I was happy to stumble across Klein's Deli at Gate D. I ordered the North Beach sandwich, and the best part is that it was fresh-made to my liking. I asked them to leave off the tomatoes so it wouldn't get soggy since I'd be eating it later. I ended up eating it about an hour later on the plane, and it was still perfect. Fresh bread, quality meats, melty mozzarella, crisp lettuce, pepperoncini, and their special sauce tied it all together. The ambience is simple but pleasant for an airport spot. Bright lighting, a clean counter setup, and efficient staff make it easy to order and go. It's not a sit-down, linger-for-hours type of place--it's grab-and-go done right, but still feels fresh and welcoming compared to the typical sterile airport food court vibe. This was hands-down a better choice than the usual grab-and-go bagged food. It tasted like a real deli sandwich, not "airport food." If you're flying out of the D Gates, Klein's is a solid stop for a fresh, hearty bite before your flight. I'll definitely be back next time.

After Work At The Aiport On Tuesday March 18 & Wednesday March 19,2025. Have Decided To Have A Late Lunch Early Dinner at Klein's Deli. The Sandwiches And Soups Were So Savory And The Portions Were Great. The Service Was Fast As They Took My Order Attentively. The Ambiance Considering Location Is Inside The Airport is Amazingly Good.

Good spot at SFO for healthy options. I got the custom turkey Swiss, veggies, on wheat. It was very fresh, healthy, and generous portions. Taste wise, it was nothing really special, mostly because it was healthy. So it's not their fault, but other sandwich spots with the same sandwich seen tastier. Over, I will be back.

It's a deli. It's decent food for airport. Couldn't find any gluten-free options. They don't seem to care so I don't eat here. It's OK.

Ask the Community - Klein's Deli

Do you have gluten free bread? If not, can I bring gluten free bread for a sandwich to be made with it?

They usually have gluten free bread, def ask before waiting in line as they don't always have it. Don't know if they will let you use your own bread.

Is this before or after the security check in thing?
