Last year my coil went out on my 93 Dakota , it sit in the front of motor two bolts and its off put a new one up and plug it in your done. That cost me over 600 dollars at a shop in auburn... So I was quite relieved when they did much more extensive work on my Dakota and my bill came to not much more than what I paid for that coil job in Auburn. My truck had been down for 5 months as I kept hiring people to work on it at my home, that was a mistake, I finally said enough ...and got it down to Carroll's and they had it figured out quickly as to what the problem was , I needled a new PCU.(computer ) Since you cant buy these from anyone, or any store and it has to be an exact match right down to the transmission. My truck is a 93 I had to research and finally found one, I had it shipped over night and since I didnt have a vehicle they came up and picked it up from my house. 2 hours later I got a call saying my trucks is done What a relief and to top it off , Alex the owner would be picking me up to take me to their shop. To me thats first class operation... You cant get that type of service anywhere...So i highly recommend Carroll's Garage good group of people ...Alex and Aaron big thankyou

My experience was easy to do business with, fast and great customer setvice. A nice surprise was they really have made improvements to the building as well, which was nice to see and I'm glad that they seem to be thriving. It's a great benefit to our town to have a reasonably priced, trustworthy garage that can do work on your car. It's a huge win for Sumner because these places are hard to find these days.

I have a 2009 Audi A4 2.0t, this is the only place I bring her. Kassel has done a new manifold, pcv…read morevalve, rear main seal, clutch, and this most recent trip the timing chain and cam guides. I love Kassel because they are fair and knowledgeable. I first met the crew when they hosted a pre-meet for a Leavenworth event and they handed out little swag bags with a coupon. They have always done little 'freebies' in my mind. When I needed the rear main seal they didn't charge me extra labor to put in a new clutch since they already had the trans dropped. The clutch was an extra $1000 part with a couple grand for the rear main but I really appreciate them doing that then and saving me thousands down the road. They also will not warrant work unless certain parts are also replaced. When I had my manifold done they made me replace the pcv valve too (bad pcv can blow out your seals) and I happy they did! It ended up failing but was warrantied so they replaced it for free. If you are not ready to drop thousands on repair, don't buy a German car. If you do get one I highly recommend Kassel.

The technician sends me a picture of the bottom of the motor and oil pan completely covered in what looks like fresh oil and he tells me that it needs a rear main seal, which is a transmission out job for $4000. I had the vehicle towed to another mechanic that in 15 minutes discovered the gasket on the oil filler tube was pinched and the leak was coming from there when The motor warmed up. It was blowing oil all over the top of the motor dripping down to the bottom, explaining the fresh oil all over the bottom of the motor. he cleaned it off replaced that gasket. I've driven the car 3000 miles and not a drop has hit the garage Kassel wanted to charge me four grand and start attacking the rear main seal which I'm sure they would've done. This is either out of malice or ignorance. I'm not sure which one is worse.
