Luckily it was still daylight and we were able to comfortable hang out until the tow truck arrived (they made good time). The tow truck driver was incredibly helpful; before towing our car, he explored more than one reason the car might not be starting (trying to avoid a tow); he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He in fact correctly identified the problem within a couple of minutes (as we found out the next day from the mechanic). Once it was for sure that we could not get the car going, he obliged to tow the car to our chosen mechanic and once there, he even helped us park the car and fill out the overnight paperwork. Amazing service. The best I've ever had from a towing company. Highly recommend.

He said he had quite a bit of traffic in Seattle to wade through, as it took him over an hour to arrive. However, once he arrived, he figured out a solution to my problem. He efficiently changed my front tire to the back and vice versa so he could tow it to the tire store. He worked quickly and was very polite. (I had no spare tire, so it was a bit challenging.) I would call again if need be, but I hope I never have to do it again. Cost: $358.80, which I thought was a fair price.

Let's face it: Virtually no one is happy when arriving at a towing and impound business. The day…read moremy Subaru reappeared, after nearly 3 months of being "liberated" by theft - THAT day was actually more stressful than the day the car went missing. Or any single day after that. So Linda, behind the highly-raised windows in the highly-raised little building where we were NOT able to use the bathroom, treated me roughly - perhaps she felt she had to. Feeling twice victimized (having to pay hundred$ of dollar$ because the thief had abandoned my car with a flat tire and the police hadn't noticed it for long enough that a perfectly good battery had gone dead - and then being treated like a criminal under the tall, tall windows in the fortress of Noffke's Towing - - well, THAT made me cry, while the theft of my car never did. The humanity of Matt, the owner, is why I'm writing this. When he realized that AAA Plus was not going to tow me to Seattle, and that my car insurance was NOT going to reimburse me for any of these unwarranted expenses (my car wasn't insured against theft), he put air in my tire and charged the battery so that I could get back to Seattle. Linda also melted, clearly showing her kind side, and Tristan, the tow driver, had been as helpful as he was able to be all along. I left there feeling good about them - - though feeling not-so-hot about our crazy legal system. But that's nothing new!
