We were able to easily order the tires we needed for our fifth-wheel. We had to bring the old tires in two at a time to get the new tires put on our wheels because our mechanic couldn't safely remove all four at once. After some initial confusion, they agreed to stay late on Saturday in order to give us time to bring the second set of tires in. They apologized for the initial confusion. Took my truck in for rear brakes and oil change. The price was very fair and work done quickly. Two issues though, paper work said 5 quarts of oil were used and truck takes 7.7 and also the next morning there was a puddle of oil under the truck. After crawling under there in 39 degrees and rain and checking that the filter and plug were tight, I figure oil must have run out on the frame and dripped overnight. You'd think they could wipe it up. Happy with the bakes but will look somewhere else for my oil changes. read more

Had oil changed on 2 different vehicles (same exact motor) and they added a 12.00 charge on one of them and explained that one took more oil than the other. It's the same motor and they both take 6.4 quarts. Manager told me one took 6.5 and the other took 5. Did you not change the filter you charged me for then? Long time customer there, and will not be going back. It's not the 12.00, it's the fact they lied. Customer service these days is non existent. read more

I've gone to this shop at least 5 times and each time I've left with another issue regarding my tires. Most recently I took my car in to get a tire replaced bc of a leak and they tried to pass the old tire off as the brand new one I just purchased online. Before I realized that they were swapped I went back to the shop to get some information I needed to return what I believed was the new tire and the lady at the front desk was acting very frustrated with me for taking up their time asking for them to print a few things, making remarks like "did you learn anything from this?" Like it was my fault for buying a tire online. After she expressed how stressful it was for them her tone shifts and proceeds to try and sell me new tires and wheels for my car. This is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. A car dealer we had bought our truck from had promised to fix some front end issues it had when we purchased it if we went to this place. Never again will I bring a vehicle close to this place. We dropped my truck off at 12 on a Friday. It has an appointment. I called Monday. Truck was still not done. But promised to be done Tuesday. Called Tuesday and it wasn't done they had other appointments... but yet my truck had been there 5 days. (4 working days). How is my truck not a top priority ?! But they said it would be done Wednesday before thanksgiving. No call, nothing. I was stuck with no vehicle over the holiday. I called Friday, they were dump founded no one called but it would be done end of day Friday. My fiancé shows up, there all standing around a tool box on there phone while he stood at the counter for 10 mins. He has to go out and get them. We got the truck back and it drives horribly. Almost worst then it did before. Never replaced the track bar which is what I was told. If you want good honest work and service. I would never use this place. They are a joke. read more

I have come to S Point twice, not knowing what exactly was wrong with my vehicle. They gave me upfront clothing which was great so I was prepared. After servicing my van they found that I did not need all of the appointments that they had originally quoted me for. So they took everything I did not need the bill and I only paid for the job that they did, and they even found things that were wrong for my last mechanic. I just stopped in to see if they could fix a puncture in my truck tire. They said they would take a look and in no time they pulled my truck back out and said it was fixed. Although I'm not even from Sumner they did this for me for Goodwill. What an awesome place. I highly recommend them. While I was there I also saw them treat a deaf man with dignity and give a very fair deal to an elderly lady who could easily have been taken advantage of. I have been going to Smart Choice Tires in Sumner (and when it was Tiny's) for a few years to get a "shaky" front end dealt with. They were quick to get me in, and take a look...all was looking good. They came back after inspecting "everything" and said it was due to the wheels needing balanced. GREAT!!! Except that it didn't help. They balanced my tires about every 2-4 weeks for a few months. I'm thinking something is up, but they swear everything under the car looks good. I even had them take in on multiple test drives so they could see it was not right. Then I was told I needed a whole new brake job, as that was the culprit. So I changed the rotors and pads on all 4 wheels. No dice. So I finally decide to take it to the experts at my local Subaru dealer. One hour later they call me and say the front bearings were shot, and were so bad that they had caused my new rotors to warp. So due to misdiagnosis multiple times, I threw away good $ one my unneeded brake job...because they have to be redone now. I guess if all you need is your wheels rotated, this might be a descent shop to go to. read more

These guys are great brought my Explorer in here for a alignment and wheel bearing repack and ended up just needed to be tightened due to a mobile mechanic rushing to get the job done anyhow he could of charged me for the repack but he didn't he was honest and said all they had to do was tighten them so no charge I was took off guard it's hard to find honest tire shops or honest people period and this is definitely one of them thank you for your great service I will be back! read more

I had seen good reviews on this web site and others and figured that this place was probably a good choice when I needed a little bit of work done on my truck... but I was wrong. I had originally purchased new ball joints and upper control arms and had intended to do the work myself but then when I got a flat tire and needed that repaired by professional I asked them if they can go ahead and install all the parts when they changed the tires, how quickly they could do it, and what it would cost. The first mechanic I spoke to said to bring it in the next morning and they would look at it, anticipating that they could do the work by that afternoon. I dutifully brought the vehicle in the next morning along with the new parts, they looked over everything and said that they could probably have a completed by that evening, they gave me an initial estimate and said they would call me when it was ready to pick up. 15 minutes after I dropped a vehicle off one the mechanics called me back and said that there was a problem. He explained that apparently they cannot install parts that they didn't purchase themselves... Something about a liability or warranty issue. I explained that I do not need a warranty and that I would waive it, just note it on the work-order and I will sign it. I also explained that I understood that they might want to try to make some markup on the components that they install and asked him to go and just tell me what they wanted to charge, I would gladly pay it, they refused but explicitly stated that they would only be putting a $20.00 markup on the components, that they could get better prices than me anyway, and that they would use the same premium brand components that I had brought in (Moog). Even though I knew that I couldn't return the parts I had already purchased from Amazon and would be out the $300 or so I really didn't have a choice at this Point. I had already wasted two days and really didn't have a choice after these delays, I needed to truck that weekend so I relented, giving them the benefit of the doubt that they wouldn't try to screw me anymore than they already had. Two days later they called me and said the truck was ready to pick up. When I got there they happened to be bringing the truck back from a test drive. This was lucky because I could see that they had neglected to replace a dust cover over the hub nut and had forgotten to put all four hubcaps on. After remedying this mistake they presented me with the bill, to be fair they had explained what the total cost was likely to be so I was not shocked at the bottom line, but I was very surprised and disappointed at the detail breakdown of the charges. First and foremost they had not used the requested and agreed upon brand components on the repair, second they had obviously marked-up the parts significantly (not the promised $20, more on the order of $150-$200). So now I am left with garbage components installed and overcharged for, with perfectly good components that they refused to install sitting in a box in the back seat because they could not get their markup on them. I was obviously angry but I still needed the truck that weekend (I should not have told them that, maybe they would not have tried to take advantage to the extent they did if they though I would walk away), plus, there was really nothing I could do except complain to their corporate bosses and hope somebody tries to make this right. The only advantage a semi-independent chain like this can offer over Costco or Discount Tire is flexibility, trust and integrity but I did not see any of these values on display here and will have to find another mechanic. Minor Edit: After reading this review the owner did call and apologize but offered no remedy. Credit to them for listening and being honest about a mistake though. read more

It's no secret... An honest mechanic is extremely hard to find. Well I found them at Smart Choice Point S Tire Factory. I first went to Smart Choice in November when my tire blew on my Ford Ranger. They were 10 year 100,000 mile tires from Les Schwab and they lasted maybe 3/4 of that. I had Les Schwab come out and put my spare on (surprisingly enough, my truck didn't have the right jack) and the driver said that they wouldn't be replaced because it was due to an alignment issue. I eventually brought my tires to Smart Choice and Dan took a look. He told me that the blown tire was definitely a faulty tire and recommended I take it to Les Schwab, although he warned me they would be combative and try an blame me. It was late that night and I was riding on 2 good tires, a donut and another bad tire that would blow at any moment. As I headed to Les Schwab, I knew I wouldn't make it back to Smart Choice in time if Les Schwab denied me. I decided, that Dan's honesty was worth my business more than trying to hassle with Les Schwab. I turned around and went back to Smart Choice. Dan had 2 brand new tires on my truck with 30 min and at a reasonable price. I got the impression it wasn't about making the sale for him, it was about making the best decision for the customer and it's service like that, that makes a customer a client. I will go to smart choice for all my service needs from now on. I actually have my truck in there now for a wheel bearing. I called and asked if they had an opening to look at my truck, they said bring it in and after an hour they quoted me and said they could have it done by tomorrow.
