I feel like finding good mechanics are like trying to find good barbers. When ya find a good one ya…read morejust keep going. I've been going here for a few years now. The place is legit. Thanks to Ryan for sure too, for being the glue that holds this place together. Very much credit to this shop for helping me keep my Acura on the road. Thank you.

Don't make the mistake I did. Go to Kings Auto instead…read more I spent $910 to not have the problem fixed. They put in faulty spark plugs in my engine which happens. It's not always possible to guarantee quality of parts. The unfortunate part is that error led them to believe the old coils then needed to be replaced, so I paid for that (+$293) and when that didn't fix the error they suggested the new coils might be bad. Rather than bring it in a 3rd time, decided to take my car to Kings auto. Alan found the problem within a day and gave me new spark plugs (+394). I went back to Ryan the owner of NB auto and asked him if he'd be willing to make things right. Not only did they install faulty parts, but that also led to additional work that was unnecessary. He refused to refund me for anything beyond the spark plug parts and oil change -$160. If I never went to Kings auto for a second opinion I'd still have a check engine light and be paying more have the coils checked etc. Kings auto costs more, but nothing compared to paying for work you don't need. The owner Ryan prioritizes his bottom line over customers, which is his choice. As is mine not to go back.

Mostly fine. Prices are a bit high but not offensively so especially if you have a coupon…read more(otherwise it's about the same price as my dealership which includes a car wash). They will upsell you which is of varying value: they will try to sell you a $10 air filter for $50; skip that. They did offer brake fluid flushing at market rate for my car and were honest about the service levels. They did incorrectly say the service interval (and need) for transmission fluid which was an unnecessary service for my car. Probably 3.5 stars but I'll round up since it was fast and efficient enough. Just don't let them sell you service you don't need.

Jorge, your response does not change what is documented by the GMC dealership…read more Seaview GMC inspected my vehicle after the transmission service performed at your shop. I provided them with the receipt and a photo showing what was used during that service. Their repair order specifically states: "Customer provide receipt and picture. Presume that the vehicle had the incorrect transmission fluid put on it." This is written directly on the official GMC dealership repair order. The dealership also removed the transmission pan and documented finding "a lot of metal material," indicating a presumed internal transmission failure. They further documented that the vehicle continued to have hard shifting and would need a new transmission. You are now publicly claiming that you showed me Mobil documentation proving that the fluid you used was approved. That is not what happened. I was never shown such documentation. When I tried to resolve this matter with your business, my son and I were treated disrespectfully instead of being given a reasonable solution. I have the Mobil service receipt, photos, and the Seaview GMC repair order documenting their findings. I am not making these statements without evidence. Rather than trying to dismiss my complaint, I am asking your business to take responsibility and address the financial damage I have suffered. I remain willing to resolve this professionally, but I expect a real solution based on the documented facts.
