I don't care if hands were washed afterward--the finger was already in the food. The fact that anyone thought it was acceptable to serve it after that is beyond me. Basic food safety and sanitation should not be optional. Watching an employee put their finger into food that is about to be handed to a customer is something I never expected to see in a restaurant.
