I really think the town & county should work on trying to get some new food establishments & grocery into the area. We have a massive lack of eateries, especially in regarding variety. Between Ashland City & Pleasant View (Cheatham County), there is probably over 2 dozen Mexican restaurants, but only 3 that were reasonably good, only 1 considered to be close to authentic. We have 2 bar & grills, a few chain pizza shops and a few bad attempts at a pizza shop here and a potentialy good choice aside from the weird hours they are open, the usual fast food offenders, Hardees, Burger King, McDonald's, we did just recently see a Waffle House open.
