I even had the chance to see the kitchen, and it was spotless with all brand-new cooking equipment and a well-organized prep area. The service was quick, and my food came out surprisingly fast. The portion sizes were generous, and you definitely get your money's worth. I ordered the BBQ short ribs, and they were outstanding -- tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Walked in and was instantly greeted and place was huge and lots of available seating area. The food was ok, I may be a little biased because I've had authentic Vietnamese food while growing up in Hawaii but this place is worth a try. We ordered the following: Meatball Pho Chicken Curry- S&B base, thicker Fried Plan Chicken- kids loved it! My 3 year ate them up (12 pcs) like he hasn't been feed for the past few days. I was skeptical while I was in the mood for Pho and found this place close by. Ended up ordering the bulgogi as I have been searching for a good bulgogi for years! It absolutely shocked me! This is one of the best bulgogis I have ever had! It was fresh and when you say spicy she knows how to make it spicy. It was absolutely delicious! I have plenty left over for tomorrow as the portions are huge! I can't wait to go back and try something else although passing up the bulgogi will be really hard. 3.5 - 4 stars I came here on a fluke. I wanted a Diet Coke and ended up ordering food to go. I had wanted to try the ethnic and different food Clarksville had to offer. This place was on my list. Friendly staff. I asked if I should try the squid or pork belly, the most exotic items on the menu. I love squid, so it is nice to see on a menu. She said the pork belly. I never ordered pork belly before. I noticed a lot of the food on the menu was Vietnamese or Korean. I was told the beef pho was great, so I might try that in the future. Thoughts about the pork belly: It came with steamed white rice, and it was spicy. The texture felt like soft bacon. It tasted good but not enough to order it a second time. I would try the red snapper or beef pho next. The seasoning seem similar to the Korean spicy dish of squid that I tried in a Korean restaurant. I am guessing the pork belly is a Korean dish. It is great to see a fish restaurant and market for the first time in Clarksville. I love fish a lot. I will definitely come back. I was told all the fish was deep fried. I wonder if they could steam and cook it instead. It was almost $20 for my meal and a drink. Pricing on the dishes seemed fair. Sorry to be the one to do One Star, but honestly the Beef Pho is terrible & I am not one to give bad reviews. First they took forget to even give me the menu, secondly, when the food arrived it LOOKED nice, but the beef was cut is huge chunks, which I said "o That's nice they are even a lot for the price". I then added the cilantro, jalapeños & sprouts inside the bowl. When I tasted the broth, Sadly it was not Up to standard from what I hoped seeing this place has such good reviews. Third, I added my sauces just in hopes for it to taste better. It helped a bit but the broth is not the best from all the Pho that I have eaten before. Last but not Least, when I bit into the chunk of beef I literally Gagged, because the taste was just Off !! I was so disgusted that I took all the beef out and just set it a set. Honestly all I ate was the noodles & the cilantro jalapeños & sprouts. Didn't drink the broth nor ate the terrible beef. I recently moved here to Clarksville & thought I'd give this spot a try, but never again. That beef is just Poor quality. Maybe it's been too long since I had good Pho but I really enjoyed the Pho here. The location is hard to find-and if you don't know what you're looking for you could easily pass right by it. The ambiance, well I would give an A for effort but I don't really think they put much into it. There's a partition with Asian, but not necessarily Vietnamese decorations hanging on it and the other half being a 'lounge' with a couple of pool tables and a really plain bar at the end with bottled beers-reminds me VFW bars. Speaking of mixed Asian-the menu is rather..eclectic would be the best word. They have Vietnamese dishes but also Chinese dishes and even bulgogi and kimchi. On top of that there's of course the fried fish specials and buffalo shrimp with fries and on the side they have a small, like miniscule 'Asian mart' with a few bottles of sauces, snacks and drinks. None of those things would give a 4 star rating but honestly, the Pho here is really delicious, granted there isn't tendon or tripe in it-just brisket and meatballs. The meatballs though are huge and tasty to boot with a texture that was a little different from the other pho meatballs but was still tasty. The broth though-I honestly, I mean wow. I usually add a ton of hoisin and sriracha sauce to it to up the flavor but the broth here had so much flavor to it that I didn't need to and was a giant bowl that was almost spilled out as the waitress brought it over to me. This time, not so much: Ordered the fried dumplings to start which tasted fine, but were served with soy sauce to dip as opposed to a gyoza style sauce. Normally not a big deal, but it was overly salty and didn't complement well. The beef pho broth had no flavor and tasted like chicken broth. The meat inside was thick cut and pre cooked so it was cooked again in the broth to the point it was like eating a tire. I had the Dumping ramen which was very good and flavorful. The spice was enough but not overpowering were your lips are burning. My boyfriend had the chicken pho. He said it was really good! The service is really really great. It's two older women who make you feel like your at your grandma's house eating a soulful meal. We really enjoyed our dinner and we'll come back. The only negative is their water tastes like dirt. They do have tap water so get the lemonade, Coke, or tea. This place would be really good on a cool fall day or a rainy day. read more

After moving and not having authentic Pho for 4 months (in Alaska), I was excited to try a new Pho place in the new town (especially being pregnant and craving it badly.) I had the no. 16 Beef Pho. Pho came out hot and steamy as well as fast. Noodle portion was just right for me. The broth had a good beefy flavor but the beefy flavor overpowered any other spices. The little meatballs were weak in flavor and sliced thin. The beef was also in small bits so unless you are an expert chopstick user you may find the bit hard to grab. I was not given any other utensils up front save the pho spoon. I also ordered the pork egg rolls. As you can see in the pics they were quite small and in my opinion overpriced for the size (3.99). The egg rolls were very Chinese in flavor and ingredients. As seen in the pic, I was given Chinese duck sauce in packets. Whaaaat?? I did expect at least sweet chili sauce. I had asked for Vietnamese grilled meat rolls but they are surprisingly not available. I don't think she even knew what I was asking for. The place was clean and plenty of room. I gave 3 stars because in my opinion there are alternative places in town to go with better quality and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. They charge close to 5 dollars for only two eggrolls and with the eggrolls came this duck sauce in a packet where you can usually obtain at a chinese take out place...The prices are too expensive for what little they have to offer. I decided to try something altogether unfamiliar when I pulled into the tight parking lot of Little Saigon. Once inside I have to admit I felt a bit disheartened upon my realization that the proprietors were Korean, no big deal I shrugged, still determined to try out some Vietnamese fare. I ordered a bowl of Hu Tieu, a rice noodle dish with pork and shrimp submerged in a pool of light broth and served with a generous amount of bean sprouts, jalapeños, lime slices, and cilantro to add as one pleases. While I found the broth to be as close to divine without it creating a universe, the pork tasted bland and over cooked and the shrimp were shrimp. The noodles were satisfactory and a joy to slurp down. The addition of the bean sprouts to the bowl added a nice layer to the soup, while the jalapeños and lime brightened it up immensely. Altogether, although my taste buds were left a bit lacking because of the pork, the meal satisfied both my hunger and curiosity. With the amount of food i received, I left bloated and ready for a nap. My main issue came with my wait time. While my server was extremely kind and courteous, the kitchen service seemed slow. I dined solo and ordered only the soup and a lemonade (which tasted real and was fantastic), yet I received my food after a couple that came in nearly ten minutes after I did, but to be fair they seemed to be regulars with the way they were greeted. The decor was pretty standard for Asian restaurants, with a touch of dive, nothing to complain about, but nothing worth review. While I would certainly eat here again, I wouldn't reorder the Hu Tieu. I recommend you give this place a try and judge for yourself. read more

Okay- I have lived here almost 12 years now and have never been brave enough to try this place before. I am so sorry that I haven't gone before tonight. The waitress was SUPER friendly (and was helpful- she even went to let the cook know that we didn't care for bean sprouts). The egg rolls were a bit greasy, but good. I wish there was a homemade dipping sauce to go with them instead of a packaged sauce. The pho only comes in one size- baby bath tub. Therefore, it is a little pricey (7.99). I am used to going to places that let you choose the size. The only change I would have made was to add some basil to the veggie plate. I plan to come back to try the fried fish- it smelled SO good!
