Not a bad spot at all. It was a pretty average pho spot to me. We got in on a Saturday during lunch hours, and we got seated right away. They had a variety on their menu. I liked how they had different types of pho/ meats you can choose. You can even build your own bowl! That's pretty neat! I tried their oxtail pho. I thought it was pretty neat since the area where I'm from, nobody offered that. I was pretty excited to see they had it on their menu. The broth wasn't bad at all. I liked how the broth wasn't too sweet. I also tried their fresh spring rolls (goi cuon). I thought it was pretty good. They had an option where you can get both shrimp and pork in it. For my iced coffee, the coffee came with my ice all melted. The coffee was also warm and kinda bland since the ice melted and it got watered down. When we moved to TN, I tried all the pho restaurants in the area. Call It Pho is my favorite! They are one of the only pho restaurants that offers a vegetarian broth. I appreciate that I can order the pho exactly how I want (veggie broth, noodles, and broccoli). The owner makes the best chili flake oil to add a little (or a lot) spice. Yum! The owner is a really nice woman and offers great customer service. I also really enjoy the lemongrass chicken spring rolls. Their peanut sauce is the best around as well. My husband and children enjoy the vermicelli bowls when they don't have pho. The restaurant is always very clean as are the bathrooms. I eat here more than my budget likes, but it's worth it! So, after wondering about their pho, I decided to give them a try. Very clean, kind staff, and great social distancing. Probably the cleanest pho place I've ever eaten. I had the custom pho with rare steak. The steak was a little thicker than I'm used to, but tasted great. I'll be honest, the broth was a little lighter/not as flavored as I'm used to, but overall it was good. Most places here don't have custom meat options. I also got a steam pork sandwich. It was a little over buttered inside and the bread was a little too crisp for my taste, but it was fresh. Holy flavor! I say this with respect, but chicken noodle soup... we are over. The flavor in the pho is amazing and I can't think of anything else I would rather eat when I'm feeling under the weather or just getting through a cold gloomy day. First time checking this place out, was pretty good! Egg rolls were the best and fastest eaten, which is why they aren't pictured. I got the steak salad (SAL1.), which I was expecting to be more of an actual salad, but it was more a warm steak and veggie combo thing. It was good, but I would've probably ordered pho had I known the salad would be what was it was (which was fine!). My brother ordered the pho special (P1.) and said it was really good. The pho had three or four types of meats. Everything was really fresh and piping hot- they also gave us a ton of rice. Don't typically order from here bc best pho house on riverside and pho king (sister restaurants) are way better but they were both closed and wanted to give call it pho a shot. Terrible mistake, small portions for everything and costs way more than the two other places where they give you good portions for a fair price. Peanut sauce was very thin and tasteless, everything was packaged with mainly plastic wrap for veggies and there was poor packing overall with spillage from the pho broth in the bag which ruined the veggies since they were wrapped in plastic wrap and thrown in the bag. Broth was gross, too much cinnamon and very strong, don't get much beef taste at all, overpowered with seasonings. Used to be good but new owners changed everything that was good about it. We don't live in Clarksville but often stay on trips. Our first visit there several years ago was wonderful and have unsuccessfully tried to eat there on multiple occasions the last of which was today. Yelp has their current hours wrong. Instead of closing at 9, they've changed to a 7pm closing. After a long day driving we arrived at 6:35 pm. Upon entering the restaurant. We were forcefully told they had just closed. At 6:35pm. A restaurant. We pleaded with them to serve us pho and that we had been trying to eat there for years and those young girls wanted us out so they could close. Their Tapioca Boba is terrible! You can tell it's not fresh and when I informed the waitress she asked the cook to make a fresh batch and they yelled at her! I was told they let their Boba sit for DAYS until it's finished which can cause a slimy, starchy, unpleasant texture. Anyone that's a true boba drinker knows Boba should only sit for four hours. Decent food but a little pricey. This place opened about six months ago. The initial reviews indicated that the service was a little bit slow. I heard they had a new cook so I was ready to try it out. This was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is modern, though I could do without all of the colored LED lights. I'm not sure why restaurants feel like they need to use colored LED lights. It makes it feel like a bowling alley. We had the eggrolls (which are fried spring rolls) and they were fine. The filling is not only vegetable-there are little bits of meat inside. The bánh mì sandwiches were solid. The bread is excellent: a little bit crisp on the outside yet soft on the inside. We chose grilled pork, which is definitely the way to go. Everything inside the sandwich was tasty. My only gripe is that the pork/filling was a little sparse. I had the pho with round steak. It was pretty good, but I've had more flavorful broths at other restaurants. The vegetables that they gave you to put inside the soup consisted mainly of just bean sprouts and a little bit of basil. Other places give you a little bit more to put inside. The last dish was a fried rice with grilled flank steak on the side. It comes with a very flavorful pork broth soup. There are little bubbles of fat floating on top-the fat really adds to the richness of this clear broth soup. The fried rice was flavorful and the flank steak was surprisingly tender. This was a satisfying dish. I'm not sure it was worth $18 though. I'm glad this restaurant is here in town. The one thing that stands out is that the prices are probably 20 to 30% more than I would expect. For those high prices, I would expect larger portions. But if you are aware that you are paying a little extra so you don't have to drive into Nashville, then I think you'll like this restaurant. read more

I am saving my 5th star for the Chanh mui when they start offering it. This is my second visit and the food was amazing. I tried the Pho Special with various meats. The beef and tripe were tender, and the pho base was delicious. The portion was more than I could eat in one setting and the price was affordable.
