Came here for dinner with our pups which they have a patio area perfect for them. Ordered the Kimchi JJige, which comes in a hot stone bowl. The waitressrecommended it. It is a traditional Korean stew, spicy and full of flavor. What is awesome about Korean food is their mini appetizer dishes that it comes with. The Yaki Mandu, kind of like beef dumplings, were fried and delicious. Our server checked in on us often and got us extra sides of the picked cucumbers. Overall, the prices were decent, the flavor of the food was great, we loved the mini side dishes and the customer service was good, we will be coming back to try different things on the menu.

Authentic Korean food. Fast friendly service. Clean. Got the mandu, Szechuan chicken (fried chicken topped with roasted Szechuan peppers), kimchee jjigae, and galbi jjim. Everything was delicious. Loved the side dishes. Food also comes with rice. Highly recommend!

I don't know what these negative reviewers are talking about - this is downright the best local Korean restaurant with food that feels like home. They have "All you can Eat" KBBQ (and they are generous with their servings!) They have classic Korean dishes (the owners are both Korean) You get Korean side dishes They make perfect rice and delicious egg soufflé This is the only place we go to now for KBBQ in the area. It's a must-try.

Located off University Ave near Austin Peay, JibBop is a quaint, delicious Korean BBQ joint nestled in the heart of Clarksville. The food is amazing! Boasting delicious side dishes, various bowls, ramen, Soju and a do it yourself grill, there is no shortage of options for everyone! Try coming here on an intimate date or with a group a friends!

5 STARS AND 1 STAR experiences at this restaurant. So I had the best and worst restaurant experience here. The worst was recently. It makes me realize lunch here is a nightmare especially when it is busy. Dinner on a Sunday (when no one was there) was perfect and one of the best restaurant and server experiences in Clarksville. So consider the day you come to this place. Servers make a big difference too! I went with two colleagues to eat lunch here. We waited 48 minutes for our food. The server was polite but she seem to forget about us. Other people that came after us were served before us! We had to get our food to go, since we had to rush back for a class. When I asked her why our food was so late, she claimed there were only two cooks and they were slammed. I have worked in the restaurant industry and did not think her statement was accurate. I think she forgot to put our order in and got distracted by her other customers. If this had happened at restaurants I worked in (being very late to provide the food, etc), our bills would be taken care of 100% or a discount provided. We just got an apology and a flimsy excuse. This is the worst review I have ever written about a restaurant in Clarksville. To make things worse, the food was awful! The ramen I ordered had turned into a thick gelatinous substance. I had paid $11 for it (with add ons). The 25 cent ramen I make at home tastes better! My colleagues were very unhappy and angry. They refused to tip. I left $1 tip. ----------------------

Love this place. The Cupbops are delicious. You get a large amount for a small fee. Definitely filling. I decided to try the Steak Bowl and it was so delicious. My classmates and I come here often. If you would like to try Korean food or like Korean food, this is the place to try. They even have Korean BBQ.

4 pieces of breaded shrimp into a soup as an add on

We just moved to Clarksville and tried this place out. I'm honestly not really sure what to think about this place, but we simply decided not to go back again. We decided this because of the seafood(specifically the shrimp)we were served. I ordered a spicy ramen and added shrimp-no where did this say popcorn shrimp or breaded shrimp but it was breaded. 4 pieces of breaded shrimp. In ramen broth. The breading was so soggy that I couldn't even bite into the shrimp to separate the tail. Again, breaded shrimp with the tail attached..in broth. What??!!! Separately, my husband ordered some kind of spicy seafood soup which included shrimp, although not breaded, but with the whole shell still on. Again...just..what??! I'm just so confused. We are in no way picky eaters, but these are basic things for kitchen staff to know

The place has a casual, welcoming vibe -- clean, well‐lit, with a layout that works for both dine‐in and takeout. What I liked: 1. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful without being overly greasy. We got the Golden Original and Soy Garlic. The Golden Original has a kick to it but nice flavor. The Soy Garlic was a bit garlicky you can taste the powdered garlic. Nice balance of sweet, savory and salty. 2. The sides were fresh and well‐seasoned -- the pickled radish had a nice balance of tang and sweetness. 3. Staff were friendly and he was on his phone most of the time wasn't attentive at all. What could improve- the staff at the counter. There was a guy waiting on his food his food came out and was ready but the staff just stood there on his phone and didn't check. Good thing the guy was cool and didn't complain. Final thoughts If you're in the area and craving good fried chicken with a laid‐back feel, this is a solid pick. It may not be perfect, but it delivers. I'd go back -- and next time I'll try one of the spicier options.

I very much liked it. We ordered the fried pork wontons to share, but they were disgusting. Only the bottom was browned, the other two sides looked and had the consistency of steamed. The worst part was the meat inside tasted just like cheap breakfast sausage with a small amount of green onion. They were so bad that I told our server, Kristin, how bad they taste, what they taste like, and told her I couldn't eat them. She didn't offer an apology, or offer to take them off the check. She just said, "They are pork." But the correct thing to do in that situation is to remove it from the check. It wasn't eaten, minus the one I bit into and thought the meat tasted funky, so hubs ate a bite and had to spit it out because the meat tasted like it was old breakfast sausage. I love Korean food and so decided to checkout my options. The 1st suggestion i received was under revamp/closed and so I headed straight to Yelp my No 1 Go-To for the best suggestions and that's how i found Momo Korean Bbq. I was a little worried when I drove up as there was only 1 car in the parking lot at 6:45pm and it seemed closed but my hunger got the better of me and i prayed they were still open. It is a really decent spot so i don't understand why it was so empty. I ordered my usual Yukgaejang which is a clear noodle with broth and brisket. And the Banchan was served along with a bowl of rice. Every respectable Korean restaurant provides Banchan which is aseries of accompaniments/sides that are served to everyone. I was told some of the dishes change on a rotation or seasonal reasons. This meal had 6 sides including their staple Kimchi, pickled cucumbers, chunky soy sauce potatoes etc Refills are $2 each if you want more. My Yukgaejang was absolutely perfect! It took a while but I was in no rush. The service was great and i had the whole restaurant to myself. I just wish i had easy access to such good AUTHENTIC Korean food at really good prices. There are plenty of tables and i can see so much potential for groups to gather in here. I plan on returning if I'm ever in the area to try their BBQ the next time.

At that time, the restaurant was located at the far end of the Kroger mall. The food was good--authentic Korean flavors I've enjoyed all my life. After they relocated to a freestanding building a few hundred feet away, my colleagues and I were excited to return. During the transition period, we had been visiting other Korean restaurants because the previous location had closed and the new one had not yet opened. When the new building finally opened, I was initially impressed by the interior décor and dining setup. Unfortunately, the quality of the food had declined significantly. During a lunch visit, a few colleagues and I ordered the Spicy Galbi Stew - SPICY being the key word. When the dish arrived, the stew was unusually dark, and we couldn't identify anything in it until we tasted it. The first impression was disappointing: it was extremely sweet with absolutely zero spiciness. It tasted like bland meatloaf mixed with an excessive amount of sugar, which explained the dark, caramelized color. After a few bites, none of us could continue eating. When paying the bill, I jokingly told the server they should rename the dish "Sweet, Sweeter, Overly Sweet Galbi Stew." Unfortunately, the worst experience came a few days later. Again during lunch, several coworkers and I ordered 되지국밥dwaeji-gukbap - a beloved Korean staple and comfort food. When the bowls arrived, the dish looked nothing like traditional gukbap. The broth was covered in pepper oil, heavily dusted with black pepper, and overwhelmingly salty, as if an entire jar of salt had been poured in. After one or two bites, we all looked at each other in disbelief. We called the server over to express our concerns. While speaking with the server, I glanced toward the open kitchen and noticed that none of the cooks were Korean. At that moment, it became clear why the flavors were so far from authentic. Anyone can cook, but mastering Korean cuisine - especially soul food, requires understanding, experience, and proper guidance. At the very least, there should be one Korean chef to train and guide the kitchen staff. That day became our last visit. A few weeks later, we returned only because we were invited by executives from another company for a BBQ dinner. We chose the full-choice BBQ set. The meats were bland, and the grill was so hot that everything burned quickly, forcing us to swap grills repeatedly just to keep the food edible. I've noticed many non-Korean diners praising this restaurant, but the dishes being served are not an accurate representation of Korean cuisine.
