Every spoonful was a treasure -- tender clams still in their shells, sweet scallops, and generous portions of lobster and shrimp. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles were perfectly soft. My only minor critique was the shrimp being a little overcooked, but everything else, especially the lobster and clams, was spot-on. The ambience is bright, clean, and welcoming, with a bold red-and-black color scheme, comfortable chairs, wood tables, a full bar for draft brews, and a separate sushi bar. All is well-until I see the pending charge on my account...the one before they finalize the receipt with what I wrote in. She ran my card and chose her own 20% tip. The broth was rich and layered, the herbs were bright and fresh, and nothing felt watered down or "Americanized." And the in-house baked bread? Incredible. Warm, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside -- exactly how it should be. Living in Nashville, I've really missed that strong Vietnamese presence we have back in Louisiana, and this restaurant filled that gap for me. You can taste the care and tradition in every bite.
