Okay, where do I start? Well first of all, 5 stars is saying a lot for me. This is my first time coming here and was surprised to see 5 tables inside. I thought this was a carry out only place, but inside had customers and the place was clean. My mother is Korean and I've stayed in Korea for several weeks eating everything. I'm just saying that these ladies can throw down in that kitchen! Everything was delicious and I tasted the Soondubu broth and it was amazing. We came here today for lunch. Ordered pork bulgulgi and a couple other dishes. When the food came out I immediately noticed a few pieces of the meat were completely raw! Yes I had to put in my mouth to find out since they were so heavily seasoned. Told the lady and she just took it back to remake it. This is RAW pork we are talking about. Not even try to take it off the bill. Then after we paid she didn't even try to bring us our bill or receipt. Must be afraid we use it as evidence or something. I understood mistake happens, but try to downplay it like this is no way to treat people. I felt sick to my stomach shortly after and throw up when I got home. Hope it doesn't get worse. I really enjoyed this restaurant. If half stars were a thing I'd say this place is a 4.5 but in the spirit of a good meal, I'm giving them 5. I know the name says "carry out" but we decided to eat in. We were greeted right away and asked for our drink orders. The women working were very kind. After a short time looking over the menu we placed our orders and heard them immediately begin to cook in the kitchen. We ordered pan fried dumplings to start and the green onion pancake with spicy peppers. These came quickly and were delicious! I loved the pancake. Everything was piping hot and cooked to perfection. We also ordered the beef bulgogi and spicy pork bulgogi and the spicy rice cakes. The beef bulgogi was delicious. The pork bulgogi was good but not as delicious as the pork, in my opinion. The food was good, cooked to order and served with a smile. Would certainly recommend this place! I can't believe I've been here for 1 1/2 years and just now tried this place. It has several markers for what I consider a place to avoid. Empty or not full parking lot; weird location basically behind a strip club, unimpressive signage, and very little advertising. But I read the Yelp reviews after a Soldier came through our office recently. He was born and raised in Korea, became a US citizen and joined the Army so one of my coworkers asked him where was the best Korean food. Without hesitation he said Tiny Town Take-out. First, it is more than take out. Even with government restrictions there are several tables to eat at. We got the fried dumplings, Bibimbap, and a dish with Bulgogi and glass noodles. The best, and I mean BEST Korean restaurant near Nashville. I lived in Seoul for 4 years, and this is about ad close to honest Korean home cooking as you can get. I've tried almost everything on the menu in the past few years, and I've never had a complaint. The staff are family ; a woman and her mother, and are super friendly and fun to chat with. The place only has a few tables and so it really should be a carryout place and therefore don't expect to have a place to sit down there. A table did open up as I walked in but the lady told me she was expecting customers so...she kind of trailed off and I finished with so I guess it will be to-go. I ordered the bibimbop and then went next door to the Asian Korean mart and picked it up a few minutes later. I opened it to see that the rice container was separate-a normal thing but the meat, read bean paste, and vegges were in a styrofoam segmented food container, not the best way to present something that needed to be mixed. It was really annoying, especially since I know that there are other containers our there that would make things easier to eat bibimbop to go. Despite my initial annoyance with it the flavors were really good. The veggies were crisp and tasty, the meat was delicious and marinated just right, not too overpowering and the hot bean paste was tasty. All for under 10 bucks. I would honestly give it higher stars if I wasn't passively denied a table and the packaging was a little more efficient, if it's going to be a Carry out place-make it so that you can eat it without having to eat it. read more

Sometimes I just want great Bulgolgi but not have to get dressed up and go to a sit down restaurant. Yesterday was one of those days. So we called and ordered that as well as short ribs to go. Food was fresh and hot along with traditional sides, although it seemed the sides were more for one serving versus the 2 dishes we ordered so this is a difference I think when dining in versus dining out.
