Vegetable udon added side of chicken katsu!

Once again, another amazing meal here at Fujiyama they never fail to bring the best service and the highest quality food. I highly recommend this place to anyone that's looking for food that feels like it has good attention to detail and appropriate prices compared to other places in town while also providing just as good quality. The ambience is nice, quiet, and very clean. They clean up every table right as soon as everyone leaves it's very quick and nice to observe I will always appreciate how much detail they put into everything they do.! My favorite place in Clarksville!

Broadway Roll and Thai Sexy Girl Roll
Jose V.

This place is literally a hidden gem. No wait time compared to the other more known spot within the area. The rolls were ALL good! No complains there. It's not a loud place, so you will enjoy a great lunch or dinner. Pepper Tuna Takati was Amazing!! Dragon Roll and Dynamy roll was superb!! Give them a shot! Enjoy it!

Single sushi & sashimi platter

Went here with my parents for a Saturday lunch The good: my goodness is the sashimi GOOD. We chose the sushi and sashimi platter for 2 ($70) and it was packed with delicious sashimi (sliced fish) that really was tender and fresh. The ginger and wasabi definitely complemented the fish as well. The platter comes with a dragonroll and sexy thai girl roll. The former definitely wasnt very tasty and smelled fishy. The thai roll was fresher and tasted great. the eel sushi also tasted great. The bad: i ordered chicken teriyaki and while piled on a high amount of onions and cucumbers, the chicken definitely tasted recooked. it was also equal in size to a chicken breast sliced longwise to give the illusion of a large amount. the ginger salad wasnt bad but the lettuce def wasnt as fresh as it could have been. The ugly: fried rice was dreadful and had absolutely no flavor. it was drier than the Sahara. TL;DR - great sushi and sashimi. avoid fried rice

Tofu Teriyaki with Brown Rice & Seaweed Salad

I would give 3.5 stars if I could. I am traveling from out of town and couldn't help but notice how many high-rated Japanese options there are to choose from. I chose Fuji Yama for its reviews and vegetarian friendly menu with tofu options. Pros and cons below: Pros: - Generous portion of tofu - Served over a bed of sautéed onions - Great price at $12 for the entre - Easy access and parking Cons: - Not nearly enough teriyaki sauce - Very basic vegetables served with the tofu (99% onions with 2 small pieces of broccoli) - Wasteful takeout packaging - Tofu is stacked and sticks together

Broadway Rill and Edamame

Ascend Mount Fuji ya ma can! Or you, or anyone in your family. Narrow in width but wide in hospitality, Fujiyama is located in a strip mall off Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. Its staff is on task and diligent. Although it's a Japanese restaurant, the staff are from China and Mayalsia. Even so, the food was worthwhile. The appertizer edamame was fresh and salted. Based on the recommendation of the server, I ordered the Broadway roll consisting of spicy tuna, cavier, and more. It was colorful and textured with crushed Ritz cracker consistency. It was flavarfull not spicy. For dessert, I had the green tea ice cream which while a favorite flavor of mine is not unique to the establishment. All in all, a good experience, if not an mountaintop memory.

Absolutely beautiful sashimi. Vibrant atmosphere with a friendly staff. I will come back

Bento box

The food was yummy. We had teriyaki tofu bento boxes. The waitress and kitchen worked with our dietary restrictions, vegan. They switched out some items in the bento box with veggie options. The plum wine was really good, very sweet wine, but really good.

Food and service are great. If you want the full service fun go into the dining room. But if you want a quiet meal go for the bar area.

Great service! They were so nice and the sushi was delicious. Recommend making a smaller menus because too many options is overwhelming.

Small restaurant with a good selection of both typical and unusual sushi. The Gyoza and miso soup is good as well.

It's really what you expect from a Japanese restaurant, loud chefs trying to win a smile and great food smell as you walk in the door. The wife and I ordered the shrimp tempura, and I got the scallops dish. One thing I was not aware of, they give you lo mein noodles and fried rice with you veggies and main. The food had good flavor, and our chef, who seemed fairly new, was really good at the grill. If I could change one thing, I would use a lighter batter on the tempura. It was very good but I am a fan of the lighter batter. For a place that has a few bad reviews, they seem to be doing well for business. IMO, there are some that like to complain. I would honestly read the reviews and then go try yourself. Like me, you might be surprised!

Leonardo was fantasic; he was attentive, efficient, and overall a pleasure to be around. He derserves a raise and a promotion. As for the rest of our meal, it was mediocre. The food was pretty good save for the plethora of menu items that were unavailable due to the new owners either not ordering popular options or removing them entirely. The price also seemed higher than what was stated when we arrived. The ambiance was odd as there was no music playing and the multiple tvs around the building were turned off. Overall, our experience would have been very poor if not for the wonderful service of Leonardo.

We've been here over 20 times already since they opened and only had one night where service was kind of slow. Other than that, this place is great. Update for 2025: Not a fan of the dim sum being added to the menu, mainly because it's not fresh. Hot pot is still great though. Would not recommend the kbbq because of the parchment paper they place on top, but that's just my opinion. 10/10 if they remove the parchment paper from the kbbq

It can be really busy at prime times. (For the whole extended family group, we pretty much always place the order to-go, to avoid a long wait for a table. When busy, the sound level is pretty high. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. The sushi continues to be very tasty. It turns out that I tried a ramen (picture attached) here about 2.5 years ago. But I didn't remember it. So, more recently, I tried another one of their ramen (Tonkotsu Black). I found it to have a great depth of flavor. However, I didn't like it as much as any of the ramen at a restaurant closer to my house (that I reviewed recently). Since the rest of the folks I go here with like to get the sushi, I'm happy to go along and eat way too much delicious sushi (sashimi and rolls).

Looked like just our table because the place isn't rundown. Service was prompt and caring. Brought forks over without having to ask. Great server, noticed and took care of any need before it was pointed out or we asked. All the dishes we saw were well prepared and fresh to order. Just the right amount of kick to the spicy miso ramen. Fabulous place to come back to. When it is warmer we will try the sushi menu.
