They didn't accept credit and they don't put a sign up on the door so they can get more customers.

Mizu - Sushi Rolls Lover For 2

I was in town for a draft hockey tournament and a couple players on my team wanted hibachi. I…read moreassumed it was a teppanyaki place but it was just a small Japanese restaurant tucked in between what seemed like an apartment complex. I pondered for a few because I've never had good experiences with standalone Japanese restaurants serving hibachi plates where it's cooked in the kitchen. I'm actually really glad I decided to stay. They had a nice assortment of appetizers, basic & specialty sushi, and a nice variety of meat combination hibachi entrees to choose from. I settled on just a plain salmon roll and a steak hibachi entree that came with ginger dressing salad and miso soup. The sushi was simple, made with whole chunks of salmon, rice, and just seaweed. The steak hibachi entree was served with a side of yum yum sauce. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out hot, juicy, and flavorful. The veggies were cooked just right and it didn't take long for me to eat the entire plate. The salad and miso soup was exactly as you expected, except the miso soup had ample amounts of seaweed and cubes of tofu. This place is easy to miss but definitely worth visiting if you want an affordable Japanese meal.

You walk in and if you're dining in, you'll go down a long hallway where the restaurant is! Our server was amazing! She was attentive, friendly, and so quick especially considering she was the only waitress! The food was decent, not terribly overpriced! We really enjoyed the gyoza and the katsu. The vibe is super cute with ambient lighting and art. Definitely recommend!

We had the appetizer sampler, the best thing was the jalapeno poppers with crab inside, so good. Rolls were all very good, did not detect anything that wasn't fresh. You can tell all food is made to order. One roll had a little too much sauce for me, but what we were so impressed with is that on the menu it says they are fine with customizing the rolls. So next time I may request less sauce. Service - excellent! the server was polite, helpful, funny, and really added to an overall great experience. All the other staff was great as well. Atmosphere - just awesome! the rock videos were super nostalgic and fun to see the variety. it was loud without being too loud. that is saying something since I don't really like loud places. My family could still easily have conversation. Can wait to go back!!!

The entire dish is completely different than advertised to the point that this restaurant is obviously using fake photos to advertise their food. I'm having to poor out all the broth and make my own just to try and salvage this disgusting $20 pathetic dish. Who ever is in charge of this should be ashamed. You've cast shame and dishonor upon the Japanese culture. I will never in my life order from here again. Do. Not. Eat. Here.

Parking is limited, but that's usually a good sign -- and Best Pho House proves it. I ordered Pho #13, loaded with lobster tail, crawfish, scallops, shrimp, and clams. Every spoonful was a treasure -- tender clams still in their shells, sweet scallops, and generous portions of lobster and shrimp. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles were perfectly soft. My only minor critique was the shrimp being a little overcooked, but everything else, especially the lobster and clams, was spot-on. The ambience is bright, clean, and welcoming, with a bold red-and-black color scheme, comfortable chairs, wood tables, a full bar for draft brews, and a separate sushi bar. Very well-kept and spotless throughout. Highly recommend if you're TDY nearby or just in the area -- a great hidden gem by the Cumberland River!

So, I threw some money on a cash app card for meal and tip, but it declined. Turns out I had locked the card thinking I was unlocking it. So, I gave them my bank card, but the magnetic strip has been acting up-hence, the Cash App card remedy. Well, she manages to input manually, I sign a receipt with a subtotal and add a 35% tip. All is well-until I see the pending charge on my account...the one before they finalize the receipt with what I wrote in. She ran my card and chose her own 20% tip. Never presented me with a new receipt that showed the same. We were a party of 2. It just doesn't sit well with me & I've dined here several times. I hate that people feel they have to sneak a tip because of how I look. Don't do that again please

My wife who is half Korean and I have been to many similar markets across the country. We have been to most if not all the other Asian Food Markets in Clarksville. We have nothing against any other store. However you tend to go back to establishments that remember you. Remember what you like, what your children like. We highly recommend this family operated establishment to anyone who loves home cooked Asian Food.

I wanted to pick up just a few items and I went to the the two places that were on my way home and the other spot was smaller, the prices slightly higher and service was less than attentive. New Koa is larger, a better value and within minutes of me walking in a gentleman came to ask if I needed help with anything. I came away with a sriracha, sesame oil, a small jar of kimchi and since I was hungry got a tray of gimbap and a pomegranate flavored aloe juice for twenty bucks and some change, not a bad haul. I wandered around a little bit and on top of the food items there's also a section of mostly Korean flatware and even clothing. This will be where my Asian shopping needs will be met when I am in need.
