Mizu Mizu Mizu... This is our new favorite Ramen spot. Our experience was phenomenal. We walked in and immediately greeted and brought to our table on a Saturday night during dinner service. I thought this place would be busy. We sat for a few moments and got comfortable. The fish tank with goldfish was so adorable. I too am an aquarist and appreciate fish tanks. Comfortable seating, cute decor, the seating area was small but I would call it cozy as opposed to tight. Our server was very kind and patient. We ordered waters and starters. I was indecisive on what to order but she was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped me make my decision. I ordered Jalapeño Yellowtail sashimi and Rock Shrimp Tempura as a starter. I enjoyed both... as a sushi enthusiast from Los Angeles this was surprising for being in Clarksville, Tn. I accidentally ordered the Rock Shrimp thinking it was the regular Shrimp tempura. Rock Shrimp was delicious crispy traditional tempura, the sauce was like an Asian style thousand island (best I can describe the taste) drizzle over bed of lettuce. It was a smaller portion so I ordered the Shrimp Tempura. The Shrimp was a different type of panko super crunchy and yummy. The vegetable tempura (asparagus and other veggie I can't remember) also came with the Shrimp Tempura and was the traditional tempura texture. The star of our meal was the Ramen! I've been freezing my tush off since being in Tennessee and this warmed me to my core. I ordered the Miso Spicy Ramen! This was PHENOMENAL! Our server accommodated my dish for less spice by offering the chili on the side. The temperature of the ramen was piping HOT in a good way! The pork belly and ground pork so much flavor! My son ordered the Spicy Seafood Fun Dan he also enjoyed his but he liked my dish much better. He said the spiciness wasn't enough so he used my chili side. Our server was attentive yet not annoying/overbearing and by the end of our service we were full and happy! My standard for flavor and food in general is pretty high. I'm a foodie. I will be returning to Mizu! I want to try their sushi next but I'm not sure I would be able to resist the Ramen. You won't be disappointed coming here. Pricing is reasonable!

What a gem! We loved the quieter, more intimate environment, the service was excellent, and the food! Wow, it was delicious! We will be eating here again, for sure. Thank you, Mizu staff, for such a great experience!

Everything delicious. Very flavorful. Big amounts of food. I love to enjoy a glass of plum wine with my dinner. The tempura appetizer is so so delicious. If you love lightly coated shrimp, sweet potatoes and greens beans order it :)

Super cute sushi restaurant with very nice staff. Great sushi with a simple yet lovely presentation style. I got the Godzilla, Philadelphia (fresh salmon), and Hamatek roll. The GoDzilla roll is spicy tuna, masago, and avocado - deep fried with eel sauce and spicy Mayo. Really yummy. I think I will try other rolls next time. The Lucky Eel roll seemed like a winner until I saw the Godzilla roll. The Philadelphia roll is a classic fave and perfect. The Hamatek is yellowtail, tuna, and avocado. It was new to me and good. Eating dinner on a very empty stomach was delightful. I liked how they have low sodium soy sauce in a nice ceramic container. The server was very sweet and made sure I had a bowl of sliced lemons, low sodium soy sauce, and sriracha sauce for my sushi. She was superb. The sushi was tasty, and I left very content. Next time I will try the Lucky Eel Roll.

Loved the rolls I got. My husband had the salmon bento box also, really good. Good sake and beers for a fun lunch. The place was clean and the service was good. Will be back.

Food was great. I will be coming back here. The only downside was there was a pesky gnat flying around me as I ate the entire time. Other the music was nice and smooth, service was amazing.

We were excited to try this brand new place. We were the only ones having lunch. No other patrons were there. We decided to get a special sushi roll and share a pasta dish. I ordered the rock n roll sushi and the Szechuan Dan Dan noodles (that's exactly the words I used when I ordered). Within a few minutes she comes to us with a bowl of dumplings and sets it down. I ask what is that for, well she put in that we ordered Szechuan dumpling appetizer- I said we ordered the noodles. She asks the Dan Dan noodles. I say yes. After that she sorta had a little attitude as if she was annoyed with us. The sushi roll was delicious. The Dan Dan noodles was nothing like what we expected. There was NO red chili oil on it at all. The noodles seemed to be slightly over cooked spaghetti noodles, not what I expected, was expecting some type of rice noodle. Was somewhat bland, we added a good bit of soy sauce. The parking is non existent out front. I have no idea if you can park around back and then walk around or what. This is just a bad location for a business in my Opinion, sitting amongst a lot of apartments. I might order takeout sushi from here but right now I'm unsure how I feel about the experience we had.

First off, let me start by saying I ordered food from a delivery service. So, I can't really speak on the atmosphere of aesthetic feel of the restaurant itself. I can say that the building they occupy has had some great aesthetically pleasing businesses in the past, so I'm sure it has a good atmosphere for a Japanese restaurant. The food came fresh, however, it was just bland. The rice was a bit salty and the steak and side of calamari just didn't have much flavor to it. It definitely wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. I know this place is new, so I plan to give it a second chance once it gets its time to settle in a bit.

The best Raman and the best Chicken Teriyaki you can get in Clarksville are at Mizu. Their sushi rolls are terrific as well.

It can be really busy at prime times. (For the whole extended family group, we pretty much always place the order to-go, to avoid a long wait for a table. When busy, the sound level is pretty high. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. The sushi continues to be very tasty. It turns out that I tried a ramen (picture attached) here about 2.5 years ago. But I didn't remember it. So, more recently, I tried another one of their ramen (Tonkotsu Black). I found it to have a great depth of flavor. However, I didn't like it as much as any of the ramen at a restaurant closer to my house (that I reviewed recently). Since the rest of the folks I go here with like to get the sushi, I'm happy to go along and eat way too much delicious sushi (sashimi and rolls).

Looked like just our table because the place isn't rundown. Service was prompt and caring. Brought forks over without having to ask. Great server, noticed and took care of any need before it was pointed out or we asked. All the dishes we saw were well prepared and fresh to order. Just the right amount of kick to the spicy miso ramen. Fabulous place to come back to. When it is warmer we will try the sushi menu.

So, in addition to Tuna Tartar and Tropical Lemon Roll, which we have enjoyed before, my wife had the Hibachi Steak. The ticket says the steak should be "Medium", but there was no pink. Even so, the steak was super tender and flavorful. We both really enjoyed it. We paid an extra dollar to upgrade to Fried Rice, which was a nice upgrade. The vegetables with the steak were cooked perfectly. I had the Sapporo Miso Ramen (again). Feeling a bit under-the-weather, I did not have it spicy. So, it was just delicious. The spicy tuna's flavor was great, but I didn't like how the tuna was minced and mixed with the spicy sauce. The tonkotsu ramen was excellent! Large slices of pork, ample portions of ingredients in a rich, savory broth that wasn't too salty. Next time I'd love to try one of their specialty rolls and more ramen. I'd definitely recommend this place.
