Passion fruit tea
Garret B.

Popped by this place on our way out to Missouri and I'm glad we did. We were greeted immediately and sat quick. The booths were cool as there were cloths hanging from them so it was kinda private. I ordered the passion fruit tea and it was delicious, refreshing and had pieces of actual fruit in it. We then ordered the edamame as an appetizer and did not disappoint. It was seasoned well and steamed perfectly. My wife and I both ordered the pork tonkatsu ramen and what a treat! The broth was so flavorful and the pork was seared just right. All the other ingredients were just an extra awesome perk to a great meal! I would definitely recommend this place and I would go back if we're ever in the area again.

Saimin Ramen: lots of seafood

First time eating here and it was super crowded on Saturday night. We had to wait about 10 minutes before getting seated. There's a Boba drink station as soon as you walk in into your left is where the Ramen chefs are in all the seating. Our server was quick. We had already looked at the menu before arriving so we ordered our appetizers right away with the drinks menu. Perfect timing because as soon as we were finished with our appetizers, our entrées came out, fresh and hot. The drinks came out beautiful and quick. My friends ordered the Saimin Ramen and the spicy Sapporo ramen. They both enjoyed their Ramen. I ordered Omurice combo, which comes with pork tonkatsu and a lemonade or Thai tea. The omurice was perfect and the presentation slice before eating? Chefs kiss! Can't wait to go back and try all the other Ramen that they offer.

Perfect for a cold or rainy day.... Or at least that's when I crave ramen. We've been twice now and the spicy tomato ramen is my FAV. So good.

I would give this place 100 stars if I could! Easily my favorite place to eat in town! Everything is so fresh and tastes amazing! Will be coming back weekly (

Today, I stopped in after my church service at about 11:20AM and was seated immediately. The booths have a private feeling, and the lighting is excellent. My server, Samantha, was very prompt and polite and didn't check on me too often! I ordered the fresh passion fruit tea, which was terrific, the Tonkotsu Ramen, and the Matcha Cheesecake for dessert. The ramen is easily the best I've had from any other restaurant and was very well portioned, the matcha cheesecake was delectable. 10/10 would recommend and I will be coming back for more!

Great service and food, got a lot of choices of boba and appetizers and a great spot to pick up boba too. Definitely will be a often visit spot

My second visit I brought my mom. I ordered the Omurice (which I wish wasn't tied to only a combo since I'd rather have a boba tea, and for the price I feel kind of sad it didn't come with an dessert too.) I loved the presentation of the Omurice and how they cut it to open it like you would expect in Japan if you ordered one. However, I think they should stick to using ketchup or even black vinegar sauce with Omurice. The non spicy curry sauce didn't compliment it well. However it was well cooked and the fried rice was really good (would also taste better if cooked in ketchup sauce.) I tried some of mom's Teriyaki Chicken and I'm not sure what's added in (maybe ginger) but I really really liked the taste of it and I don't usually order the basic Teriyaki or Hibachi I style foods. Still a good visit I would return. Also can you please make the salted cream foam drink I to matcha salted cream foam drink instead of green tea version? It would taste even better.

I like the tonkatsu ramen and their broth is rich and flavorful. Never fail to order that every time i visit that place. The ambience is clean and pretty. The appetizers are really good too especially the fried squid. Service is getting better each time.

It can be really busy at prime times. (For the whole extended family group, we pretty much always place the order to-go, to avoid a long wait for a table. When busy, the sound level is pretty high. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. The sushi continues to be very tasty. It turns out that I tried a ramen (picture attached) here about 2.5 years ago. But I didn't remember it. So, more recently, I tried another one of their ramen (Tonkotsu Black). I found it to have a great depth of flavor. However, I didn't like it as much as any of the ramen at a restaurant closer to my house (that I reviewed recently). Since the rest of the folks I go here with like to get the sushi, I'm happy to go along and eat way too much delicious sushi (sashimi and rolls).

It's cold outside and Ramen is the way to go to warm up…read more We came for a late Saturday dinner and seating was immediately available. The booth seat disappointed becasue it was flat. Looked like just our table because the place isn't rundown. Service was prompt and caring. Brought forks over without having to ask. Great server, noticed and took care of any need before it was pointed out or we asked. All the dishes we saw were well prepared and fresh to order. Just the right amount of kick to the spicy miso ramen. Fabulous place to come back to. When it is warmer we will try the sushi menu.

So, in addition to Tuna Tartar and Tropical Lemon Roll, which we have enjoyed before, my wife had the Hibachi Steak. The ticket says the steak should be "Medium", but there was no pink. Even so, the steak was super tender and flavorful. We both really enjoyed it. We paid an extra dollar to upgrade to Fried Rice, which was a nice upgrade. The vegetables with the steak were cooked perfectly. I had the Sapporo Miso Ramen (again). Feeling a bit under-the-weather, I did not have it spicy. So, it was just delicious. The grilled pork is great and the jammy egg is perfect. As I probably mentioned before, I have had several different Ramen here, and never one that wasn't delicious.

The service was great although last call was fast approaching as I was ordering. I eat a lot but could have ordered another roll after the fact. I ended up ordering a salmon avocado roll, spicy tuna roll, and tonkotsu ramen. The salmon avocado sushi roll was great. Huge chunks of avocado and sushi with a nice ratio of rice. The spicy tuna's flavor was great, but I didn't like how the tuna was minced and mixed with the spicy sauce. The tonkotsu ramen was excellent! Large slices of pork, ample portions of ingredients in a rich, savory broth that wasn't too salty. Next time I'd love to try one of their specialty rolls and more ramen. I'd definitely recommend this place.

I wanted to pick up just a few items and I went to the the two places that were on my way home and the other spot was smaller, the prices slightly higher and service was less than attentive. New Koa is larger, a better value and within minutes of me walking in a gentleman came to ask if I needed help with anything. I came away with a sriracha, sesame oil, a small jar of kimchi and since I was hungry got a tray of gimbap and a pomegranate flavored aloe juice for twenty bucks and some change, not a bad haul. I wandered around a little bit and on top of the food items there's also a section of mostly Korean flatware and even clothing. This will be where my Asian shopping needs will be met when I am in need.

I got four different types of ramen. Homemade kimchi and radishes in mason jars were a delight. Prices were cheap to moderate. I spent $30 here quick. I will definitely come back again.
