I ordered the Tonkotsu Black through DoorDash, and this place continues to be one of my favorite ramen spots. I first tried it a few months ago while visiting family, and I remember thinking it had the most delicious broth I'd ever tasted. The broth is rich, flavorful, and exactly what I look for in a great bowl of ramen. The chashu pork is also excellent, and they give a generous amount of meat compared to another ramen restaurant I recently tried. I actually left that other place disappointed and still hungry, but this bowl definitely filled me up. This visit didn't taste quite as perfect as I remembered the first time, but it was still absolutely delicious and well worth it. Whenever I'm back in town visiting my parents, this is one of the restaurants I'll gladly come back to. It's truly a hidden gem, and I'd definitely recommend the Tonkotsu Black to anyone looking for a satisfying bowl of ramen. read more

We had an amazing experience here! The vibe of the restaurant is really cool. We didn't see a whole lot of our server, but that's not a problem for me. I did think it was odd though that the food we ordered came out at different times. One of us got the ramen and omurice and I got the yakisoba, and the ramen and omurice came out a bit before my food so I just sat and watched him eat while waiting for my food. This was our first time trying omurice, but the eggs in the omurice were very bland (which may be normal). The demi glace was good on it though. The ramen was very tasty no complaints there. I really enjoyed the yakisoba - I got the combo with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The chicken was so nice and tender and had really good flavor. The flavor of the steak was a little shock at first but I got used to it. I really enjoyed the dish as a whole and the portion is very large so I took half of it home. We also got a brown sugar boba milk and the boba was perfect. It was mostly milk though not much of the brown sugar flavor. Overall I definitely would recommend this restaurant! read more

Wow... yes please! Hanna was so friendly and attentive. I'm in love with the vibe and decor. Now for the real reason... the food! AMAZING . I order the same spicy Tonkotsu and added extra wakame. The spice level was just perfect. They are not shy about sharing their food here either, thank you... the bowl was big and full of toppings. The pork had 4 pieces? I'm hooked! I also order their fresh passion fruit tea and it had like gelatin squares and fruit and yes, I'm moving to Clarksville ... ok, ok, I won't mind driving to Clarksville for a bowl of this delicious piece of heaven and the drink. Please open one in Nashville... In the meantime... see you soon! read more

I love the atmosphere. Place is classy and vibrant. Staff were kind and welcoming. I also really liked the banners that also served as privacy screens . Place is clean. I loved their boba drink tea... and the ramen spoke for itself. It was tasty but also had the seasoning on the side if you wanted to spice things up a bit. read more

Popped by this place on our way out to Missouri and I'm glad we did. We were greeted immediately and sat quick. The booths were cool as there were cloths hanging from them so it was kinda private. I ordered the passion fruit tea and it was delicious, refreshing and had pieces of actual fruit in it. We then ordered the edamame as an appetizer and did not disappoint. It was seasoned well and steamed perfectly. My wife and I both ordered the pork tonkatsu ramen and what a treat! The broth was so flavorful and the pork was seared just right. All the other ingredients were just an extra awesome perk to a great meal! I would definitely recommend this place and I would go back if we're ever in the area again. read more

First time eating here and it was super crowded on Saturday night. We had to wait about 10 minutes before getting seated. There's a Boba drink station as soon as you walk in into your left is where the Ramen chefs are in all the seating. Our server was quick. We had already looked at the menu before arriving so we ordered our appetizers right away with the drinks menu. Perfect timing because as soon as we were finished with our appetizers, our entrées came out, fresh and hot. The drinks came out beautiful and quick. My friends ordered the Saimin Ramen and the spicy Sapporo ramen. They both enjoyed their Ramen. I ordered Omurice combo, which comes with pork tonkatsu and a lemonade or Thai tea. The omurice was perfect and the presentation slice before eating? Chefs kiss! Can't wait to go back and try all the other Ramen that they offer. read more

The oysters were good. The ramen was mediocre at best. The pork belly was burnt and the broth lacked flavor. The only saving grace was the oysters. We won't be joining Kyoto again read more

Today, I stopped in after my church service at about 11:20AM and was seated immediately. The booths have a private feeling, and the lighting is excellent. My server, Samantha, was very prompt and polite and didn't check on me too often! I ordered the fresh passion fruit tea, which was terrific, the Tonkotsu Ramen, and the Matcha Cheesecake for dessert. The ramen is easily the best I've had from any other restaurant and was very well portioned, the matcha cheesecake was delectable. 10/10 would recommend and I will be coming back for more! read more

Amazing place. Treated me and my best friend amazingly despite us being teens. The place looks and smells amazing. And the food is delicious, yes it is a bit pricey but the servings are nice and the food is delicious!! Plus gluten free options on the Ramen is such a plus from a gluten allergy girl like me. 5 stars, the workers really made the place so amazing read more

Killer. Great, quick lunch service, simple menu, spicy pork ramen. Clean, nice ambiance. Will go for dinner shortly.

I got the Tonkatsu Ramen. It was okay. I got the Chicken Katsu for my 4 year old. When I started to prepare the Katsu to make it bite size for her, there was so much breading (panko and egg I'm assuming) that didn't cook - it looked like pancake batter was oozing out. I told the waitress who took the item off our check. read more

This is a new Asia food restaurant. Was sure about menu, but our waiter Darren explained what we needed to know. A large portion of menu was either seafood, which we don't eat, or things we were ready to try. My husband got steak rice bowl and it came hot off the grill and I got Steak and Indian noodles, which was also sizzling hot! Food was perfect, flavor on both meals were excellent. Only draw back was Soda was provided in a bottle, so only one unless you wanted to pay for another. However, they offer water free, and the glasses were very unique. Prices for dinner that was enough for us, $14.99 for one meal And $15.99 for the other. If you want good quality food at a decent price and good service I highly recommend giving them a try. We will be going back for sure! Small business that needs our support to stay! Thank you! read more

My second visit I brought my mom. I ordered the Omurice (which I wish wasn't tied to only a combo since I'd rather have a boba tea, and for the price I feel kind of sad it didn't come with an dessert too.) I loved the presentation of the Omurice and how they cut it to open it like you would expect in Japan if you ordered one. However, I think they should stick to using ketchup or even black vinegar sauce with Omurice. The non spicy curry sauce didn't compliment it well. However it was well cooked and the fried rice was really good (would also taste better if cooked in ketchup sauce.) I tried some of mom's Teriyaki Chicken and I'm not sure what's added in (maybe ginger) but I really really liked the taste of it and I don't usually order the basic Teriyaki or Hibachi I style foods. Still a good visit I would return. Also can you please make the salted cream foam drink I to matcha salted cream foam drink instead of green tea version? It would taste even better. read more

The food was okay, nothing to brag about. The service was fast, there were not many people in the restaurant. I like the decor, it reminds me of an authentic ramen restaurant. I got the mega ramen bowl and asked for it to be spicy. It was not spicy so I added some of the provided chili paste to make it spicier, however I asked for garlic to add to the ramen and I was told "I don't think we have that, but we have chili paste". If you don't have it that's fine but I was sitting at the bar top and it wasn't even asked about after she said she wasn't sure. Overall the experience was alright but nothing to brag about unfortunately read more

My dad and I have been looking forward to trying this place for a while and today we brought the whole family and we were NOT disappointed! The little booth we sat at was so private and enclosed and we loved that, we ordered the pork bun (which was absolutely delicious, milk tea (very flavorful), and we all got some ramen which was better than any ramen place we have had around! The service was fast and in a timely manner and we also got some of the garlic edamame. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we plan to be back again very soon read more

Weekday lunch - greeted and quickly seated. Server came to table and took drink order-just wanted water. Polite. Now to the ramen! Ordered a Mega Ramen (Chasu & Shrimp), Chasu Pork, Shrimp, Half Marinated Egg, Bamboo Shoots, Corn, Wakame, Scallion, Nori. Also a Beef Tomato Ramen, Braised Beef, Half Marinated Egg, Bamboo Shoots, Corn, Scallion, Nori. Made one a combo which added Thai Iced Tea and Pork Belly Bun. Outstanding presentation and flavor. Wife loved the Mega Ramen-shrimp texture very good, the broth very good, added some seasonings that are on the table. My Beef Tomato Ramen was excellent. That broth and slices of beef were so good. Large servings, fresh ingredients. Clean restaurant. Plenty of parking. $50.00 for two including gratuity. Will definitely go there again because so many offerings on the menu! read more

Atmosphere is good. Service was good. The food is the reason they are getting 1 star. I went with my family right after they first opened for business. We were seated promptly and given our menus. I love ramen so I was excited to try this new ramen restaurant. We all ordered our ramen and an appetizer which was just ok. Once the ramen arrived, we dug in. Ramen was a bit soft for my families liking. Broth was ok. Had a funny flavor to it. The egg looked and tasted a little strange. We all ate our ramen, I paid the bill and we left. Here's where it gets interesting. Thank God I let my wife drive us home that afternoon. Within minutes of leaving, I started to get stomach cramps, pouring sweat and nausea. To make a long story short, by the time I got home, I was throwing up all over the place. I have never thrown up that much in my life. Then the other "end" kicked in and I was on the toilet for a good hour. After my body had expelled the ramen, I felt much better. It definitely made me sick. It might have been the broth but I feel it was most likely the egg. I will not be back. I do not want food poisoning like that ever again. Good job Kyoto. read more
