This is our go-to Chinese carry out here in Clarksville and is by far the best we've tried and the one we continue to come back to. AMAZING!! Best crab ragoons I spoke with one of the owners while food was being prepared great people! They were open during the storm they are northers like me and went phased by the snow! This is so far the only Chinese restaurant I have actually enjoyed in Clarksville Tennessee!! I just wish they were on DoorDash I'd stop wasting my money trying when at work. Some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. You can tell the food and the veggies are fresh nothing is old and taste funny very clean tasting , some Chinese restaurants have that old/odd weird aftertaste not this restaurant. I ordered a chicken lo mein combo platter with fried rice , beef hunan combo platter with fried rice comes with an eggroll, sweet and sour chicken , crab rangoons and an order of the sesame balls. Everything was soooo good and flavorful my favorite dish was the sweet and sour chicken that breading on the chicken is so crispy and light and the sauce pairs perfectly with it. The lady who took my order was very welcoming and nice and all this food only took 10-15 minutes as she stated. Only thing I would say is this is more of a pick up and eat at your house kind of meal as the place only has 2 tables for eating. Haven't had anything that I didn't like. Even the rice is delicious. Usually get the sweet and sour chicken. But my new fave is definitely the curry chicken. This is Chinese take out at its best. During COVID they installed a window and a pass thru door system so that they could continue to serve customers. This our go to for Chinese the egg rolls are crisp and filling is tasty. Steamed dumplings are also very good my daughter's favorite. We are spicy lovers so it was Orange beef extra spicy, Sesame Chicken made spicy and because our bill was over 45 dollars a free order of General Tso chicken all were very tasty the orange beef had a nice spice and the orange flavor was subtle but noticeable. Very strict COVID procedures but I am very thankful they are open!! First time trying this place. I called my order in, they said it would take 10 minutes, and it was ready by the time I got there. I don't do very spicy food, and the Garlic Chicken and Szechuan Triple Crown Chef's Special was just right maybe a LITTLE on the spicy side for me but the triple crown is designated spicy on the menu. I have ordered lunch from here quite a few times and it is a good enough size for the price ($6.15) People should remember that that this is a to go chinese restaurant so dont expect Michelin service levels but be happy with the food. I have not had any issues here except for the blandness of my kungpao one time and that was remedied with some sou sauce. Again, lunch special at $6.15 and i shouldnt be complaining really. Hard to find good Chinese food. I am shocked the flavor of the lobster sauce was so good. So kudos that they make sure the flavor profile is on point. Every visit to this restaurant has been exceptional from the cleanliness to the customer service always perfection. The food is very flavorful especially the orange chicken it is sweet and spicy without letting the orange flavor be over bearing. The bourbon chicken is made differently from my other experiences but nonetheless it's still good a little on the sweet side so if you like sweet chicken try it. I always choose lo mein over rice, their lo mein is very good and cooked to perfection as well as the super greens it's under the "healthy options" on the menu. They offer a variety of sauces on the side to go with the greens and they are very good! We also order the chicken nuggets and they were not good. I've had better ones at McDonalds. The pork rice was okay but lacked flavor. Yelpers, y'all lied to me, and my feelings are hurt. Boyfriend wanted Chinese. First, understand that he grew up on that St. Louis Chinese food - brown fried rice with scallions, egg, bamboo shoots, actual egg foo young with brown gravy, and y'all get where I'm going with this. But based off the reviews, we gave this place one try, and one try only. This spot, according to him, used to be good, but they have completely fallen off for him. The fried chicken appetizer tasted like it was fried yesterday. The "fried rice" was white rice with peas, and the only thing that made it brown was the soy sauce I added. The egg foo young was almost inedible; beyond bland, it was just cold, falling apart, and it didn't taste like anything. This was a great location. I bought the lo mien dinner which came with fried rice and a egg roll. The egg roll wasn't anything special but was still hot and tasted good. Just a very basic egg roll. The lo mein was very hot and tasted excellent. I just wished for a bit more chicken for $8.75. It was mostly noodles and fried rice. However it was hot, fresh, and delicious. However the mongolian beef/ lo mein is much better day 1. I would not reheat and eat as leftovers because the flavor is very fishy. It is a very busy establishment so ordering ahead is key! This was my first time. I was very surprised. The ragoons are delicious. You don't need the sauce they are on the sweet side. We ordered general taos very good and my king pan chicken had a little spice but just enough. Definitely will be back.
