Sometimes go here for lunch and for what they charge, you can't beat it. For $4.99(recently changed to $5.25) they give you three entrees and a side of rice or noodles. You're getting more food than the price of a Big Mac meal. Yes, the lady at the front may be short and to the point, yet it's just her at the front counter bouncing from serving people to cashing them out to answering the phone. Sometimes I do see someone come help her during peak times. Some of the reviews state they are rude - I don't go to a restaurant to make small talk with strangers, let alone with someone where there also may be a language barrier. I've never had any issues with them. Have I had better Chinese food, yes. But I've also had worse Chinese food and paid more money in the process. read more

this has been our go to spot for Chinese takeout. and after this last order we will be finding a new place. The quality has consistently gone down since covid. last year we ordered her- well over $100 worth and it was decent. this past order a month ago, the food was not good at all. Nothing tasted right, the quantities are smaller and we just didn't like it. normally we eat the food for a few days, this time we didn't save any leftovers and just tossed them. We get the exact same dishes every time. It is just no longer our place to get takeout. read more

I've heard from several people just how good the food is at China Wok Express. This is my first visit and I'd say it's fairly standard, passable Americanized Chinese fare. The hot and sour soup is a notch about "just good," but the other dishes we got (roast pork with garlic sauce and vegetable lo mein) are unremarkable. I asked for the roast pork to be made extra spicy, and they said it was, but I'm not tasting much spice at all. If this is "extra," then the normal spice level must be pretty minimal. I'm going to go back to try other dishes. I'm very willing to improve my score of China Wok Express, and I hope they meet me halfway. I'm open to having my socks knocked off, CWE. Please don't disappoint me! read more

So we ordered 2 dish so noodles with chicken. Jen she added an extra dish that we did not want. So it was up sell in asked for. The food was good and tasty. Just upset they added a food we did not want. read more

Solid 4 out of 5. Quality ingredients love the baby corn on the Kung pow shrimp. The shrimp was huge lol highly recommended.

My food is always great. I love them! But some reason Thursdays the food doesn't taste the same, I think because they have a different cook that day but it is good eats! read more

They have the best food in town but doordash and the other services they use or the worst in town don't use them. Don't buy food from them cuz doordash will charge you triple the price of the food I pay for food from them and when I got the bill it was four times the amount of what it was. Don't buy from them unless you pick up. You pick up the food. They have the best food in town, read more

The food is disgusting & the ppl are RUDE . I called for lunch and got hung up on bc i called from my job and they block their number going to unknown number to the company and i was told I couldn't order bc my number wasn't showing up . Then I gave him my number and he told me to go ahead with my order and from that point I no longer wanted to order bc I'm paying over the phone for one and for two your trying to deny me for ordering bc of a phone number . I've only ordered from here a few times and every time it's overly oily . But they're close to my job so I try to order convenient and quick . I will NEVER order from here again !! read more

I ordered through Doordash. So, first off, the food looked smelled and tasted pretty good and these gripes may just be small personal tastes but here they are. I ordered General Tso's chicken and specifically asked for "Extra, Extra Spicy" in the comments and "Hot" on the official prompt through Door dash; there was not a single chili or pepper in the whole order. It was not spicy AT ALL. The chicken also wasn't crunchy in the slightest; which I don't blame on my driver because they arrived at my house in less than 10 minutes. The rice was bland, and by that I mean it just tasted like soy and salt. The Crab Rangoon was good but didn't seem like it was fully fried as the bottoms were still moist from the cream cheese. It wasn't the worst thing i've ever had, but for one of these stand alone "Chinese" food restaurants; I have had WAY better. read more

UPDATE: I got food poisoning.. we ate here for dinner.. we were talking about how their food hasn't been as good lately (tastes eggy) and I was violently sick a couple hours later and continuing on for the rest of the night.. won't be returning.. very disappointed. ORIGINAL 5 STAR REVIEW: This is my go-to Chinese restaurant whenever I'm in Clarksville!! The general tsos chicken is delicious and the crab Rangoon are some of the best I've ever had. The staff is always friendly and the place seems pretty clean (including the bathrooms min which is always a plus!! read more

Unhappy... ordered General Tao's CHICKEN. There was no chicken in it. T was all just fried dough and sauce.

Love their orange chicken and general Tao. Lunch time prices are amazing!! Great customer service!

Just basic Chinese take-out but it's always good. Fried and Steamed Dumplings are excellent. Egg Rolls always fresh. They're great at adapting menu items to special order a certain way, like getting extra broccoli in the Sesame Chicken. They're not native English speaking so be patient when calling ahead. They're all business, so dont get your feelings hurt if they're not "down home" polite. They get the job done well. read more

They're only doing delivery within 5 miles however they won't deliver if you're closer than 5 but have "other restaurants" near you.

Good, fresh Chinese delivery. Always a polite delivery person. I would say the best Chinese delivery option for South of the river

First time visit for take out. Everything we order was made as we ordered. Fresh and delicious, courteous staff. Will definitely go back

Meh. The ladies running the bar act like your presence is an inconveince and a 'get what I give you' attitude. Ask any basic question and you are directed to the bar. She actually said the words "we don't like busy" ... what? The food was okay, same stuff one can buy at any hole in the wall chinese place. If you're craving a chinese fix I urge you to find another venue. read more

First time eating here. Our regular place was closed. They hadn't even started my order when I arrived and they weren't busy. Food was very average. None of my family finished their entrees. There was a hair in the fried rice. We will not be going back. read more

For the price and the fact that they deliver you cannot beat China Wok. The lunch special is one of the best I've ever seen and a friendly staff will make you want to come back. read more

I would like to make a review and compliments about an employee named Eric. He deliver food to my neighbor's apartment upstairs. When he came back down I asked him about where he worked at and he told me. He was very polite and kind upbeat spirit . I never heard of or have eaten at this restaurant until today. I'm going to order some food to see if it is as outstanding as Eric. China Wok should be very proud to have some of his caliber represented their establishment read more

Favorite Chinese in Clarksville. Their crab Rrangoon egg fu young and dumplings are the best. Usually get the general tso and chicken with brocolli-pretty standardly delicious for Chinese take out. Singapore chow mei fun is very good and you get a huge portion. Their lunch buffet is a great deal and nice variety. read more

This is my go to work lunch its always hot and fresh. I've never had a bad time weather it's eating in or getting delivery. It's truly a jewel to find. read more

Very run of the mill. Fried rice was decent but very dry. Food tastes like packaged flavor and the ingredient balance was way off. Chicken was fatty and dry as well. Two stars simply for a nice staff. read more

Place was really good! I went and got the boneless spare ribs with white rice and it was really fresh. My friend got the garlic wings and those were also pretty good. Next time gonna try the lunch special during the week. Seems like you get a lot of food for only $4.99. Definitely coming back! read more

Amazing food and very helpful people deliver always fast I love this place great deals and always good saving I really like the lunch specials read more

Really a hit or miss. Sometimes the food can be extremely good, other times it can be extremely nasty. Prices are nothing to go crazy over, a little higher than all the other similar style restaurants in the city. If you value consistency, then this is not the place to go to. read more

I really like them. Easy location and Delivery is quick. Try the sweet and sour chicken and spring rolls. Mmmmmm

They are so nice :-) I was in a rush and ran out of there with my take-out order before my eggroll arrived and the woman ran out into the parking lot looking for me when she noticed. And the food was legit too. read more

This place is awesome very friendly and very good food. The best is the egg rolls and the pineapple chicken. Y'all should go try it once and Ya will be coming back!! read more

I've been coming here for lunch for years. Everything was great. Ordered delivery to my office and it took over an hour. This never used to happen. I don't know why they changed but I for one do not appreciate it. The food is always the same l, nothing ever changes. It gets old after awhile. read more

False advertising they tried to charge me 18 dollars for something that's Worth $12 they tried to get me like this more than once and changed their price read more

This is a perfect lunch spot for Chinese food. It's always hot. You might have to wait a moment due to the crowd or because they ran out of an item on the bar. However, I'm ok with that because I know the food is not and fresh. Great value for the money and they are always friendly. read more

the food is very delicious！lomein is very good！i think is best in town！like chicken beef ，are very good ！i cant forgot that taste！

If I could give zero stars I would. I've been coming here since the place opened, and although the lady behind the counter has always been curt, today she was straight up RUDE. My son ordered the sweet tea, and when he tried it, it was gross. I tried it thinking it was probably fine, but it wasn't. It has turned. He took it back up to the counter, and she refused to assist him. My husband then took it up and although she did finally exchange it, it was until after she made a HUGE scene saying if he didn't like tea he shouldn't have ordered it. All the other customers were looking at this point. My husband tried to explain that there was no was for him to know the tea had gone bad BEFORE he ordered, but she wouldn't hear it. Just kept saying how he should have know better and she won't do this again. The other customers in line told us she was rude and out of line, and she didn't need to be talking to people like that. She's right. We will never go back and financially support a business who treats customers so poorly. read more
