First and last visit. I expected this to be really good after the reviews. It was not. Staff was not pleasant and made me feel unwanted. Once home with the order the food was not very good. Spring rolls are all cabbage/vegetables. Crab Rangoon are super sweet and no dipping sauce was given for them. General Tso: chicken pieces are super small and overly fried until hard yo chew. Our Christmas dinner was from here this year as we were celebrating family style the following day. My nephew went to do the pickup so I never saw the place. The food however was pretty good. We all kind of shared entrees and I think my favorite were the veggies and their crab Rangoon. Larger servings and you can actually choose from two different sized on their fried rice meals. Everything appeared fresh and tasty. My brother's family all had good things to say about this place and the family that runs it. I called in an order, Mongolian chicken with vegetable lo mein, and the lady said it would be ready in 20. We got there a little before 20 minutes and the food was ready! I got hope it was still hot and fresh and that Mongolian chicken did not disappoint. The portion was so big, very flavorful, combination of sweet and spicy, and it came with white rice. The vegetable lo mein was also very flavorful which I was happy about due to the fact that some Chinese take out places lack flavor in their lo mein noodles. You won't disappoint! They burned both the chicken wings and French fries and couldn't follow instructions for preparation (chop up the wings). The oil coming from the order was dark brown showing that the oil was dirty. Then the Szechuan mushrooms are extremely oily I requested Szechuan mushrooms not the aftermath of an oil change. This was the first and last time ordering from this establishment. Yes. Nine Dragons is one of my FAVORITE places to get large, tasty portions. I always have them deliver and they have never missed a beat. The food there tastes pretty authentic to you takeout Chinese food and the portions will last you a few days and are just as good as leftovers as they are the day or night of.
