Very kind service and a small interior that serves rather large cupcakes with multiple flavors. I had the chocolate ganache, which I think is one of their best flavors; however, the cupcakes are almost sickeningly sweet and I couldn't finish mine. Their carrot flavor is also quite tasty but once more the loads of overly sweet frosting aren't worth it. Lastly, the coconut flavor was lacking in flavor and somehow, the frosting on this cupcake was even sweeter. The team at ganache is absolutely amazing. We wanted to do something special for our little boys birthday, and had a vague idea. They took the Minecraft themed idea and made a perfect piece of art for us to enjoy! We chose the chocolate raspberry flavor, and it came out better than we could have imagined. Stopped by this bakery for a sweet treat. I heard so many good things about this spot - so I was happy I got to finally try them. This award winning baker is famous for his decadent desserts. This store front is near downtown area, so parking is limited to street parking where you have to pay or nearby garages. The walk over isn't too bad. The baker and his staff were extremely nice! I felt very welcomed. I ordered the almond fun fetti cupcake and it was delicious! The cupcake looked pretty to the eye but also was moist and flavorful. I love the packaging, I've noticed most bakery's place your cupcake into a regular box but this container actually held the cupcake into place so it wouldn't get smushed. We were visiting Palm Beach and my daughter insisted on having cupcakes a quick google search led me to Ganache Bakery. I walked in with the intention of buying 1 cupcake for my daughter and after a lot of self control and restraint I walked out with only 3 but I could have easily walked out with every single flavor on display! This is a small family owned bakery and I could see cupcakes fresh out of the oven and all the decorating equipment set up it was a baker's heaven! The cupcakes are individually packed and one cupcake was eaten 2 days and a 600mile drive later but tasted just as amazing as the other 2 we had fresh from the bakery. I absolutely love the cupcakes here !! Wow, every time I am in the downtown WPB area, I want to grab one of their cupcakes and try a new flavor. My favorite so far is the lemon cupcake, which is so tasty especially with the fluffy cupcake itself and the lemon filling. I have also really enjoyed their chocolate ganache and banana salted caramel cupcakes. The owners are always super friendly and happy to explain all their variety of cupcake flavors. I needed a custom cake for my boyfriend within a week and gave Jamal creative direction over the cake with telling him that he likes to fish and maybe blue icing. It doesn't get better than this in the Palm Beaches. We had 3 simultaneous birthdays and I knew I needed to bring in the heavy artillery of cake design and baking . . . . Actually . . . calling what Jamal and staff do "baking" sells it short . . . it's a form of performance art. I told him what was going on, a rough (really rough) idea and was smart enough to get out of the way and not tell a cake maker how to make a cake. The end result was nothing short of fabulous. Not only did we enjoy it but the restaurant staff and a number of other diners were captivated by the cake from Ganache Bakery. I walked in and there were a ton of cakes, unfortunately already made for clients, but I was in luck. There were plenty of AMAZING cupcakes. Each $5 and man oh man, they tasted OUT OF THIS WORLD!! The cupcakes were such a hit at my family's dinner. I must say, the owner, sweetest and friendliest man I've met, greeted me and served me up the free macaroon as per check in on Yelp. I started ordering rum cakes from Jamal and Joan after trying them at the WPB Green Market, before they opened a bakery of their own (Jamal and Joan are the owners and met in culinary school I believe -- they are not a couple, however). I always have them bake my birthday cakes, and they sure didn't let me down this past January for my big 50th! Every dessert I've had is fabulous, but their rum cakes will always be my favorite. Besides their delicious offerings, they are really nice, good people. I know they are just now (this month of April, 2019) in the process of moving their store. I see another yelper saying he's afraid they closed. Not so! They told me they'd reopen a few blocks South at 306 S. Dixie, so keep a lookout!!! read more
