An absolute favorite for me and my family. When we travel we always stock up to take with us. And visit immediately upon returning home from any trip.

When visiting the area this place was recommended for a good cafe con leche and papaya pastry and it did not disappoint. We visited every morning for a morning coffee and picked up cream cheese and papaya & cream cheese pastries. Their breakfast is different than most places but shouldn't be missed. They have a number of options for both food and drink. Although the inside doesn't look like much, the food, drinks and service makes up for it. Everything was made exactly as it was ordered every time! Next time I'm in town I will be visiting frequently and recommend you do too!

Absolutely love this little gem is west palm beach! My mom wanted a dulce de leche cake for his birthday and my sister told me about this spot! I went there the day of and they had a ton of fresh cakes to choose from as well as delicious dessert! I grabbed a cake quickly and a few desserts and took of to my mothers birthday celebration! Highly recommend Also, the cake was so delicious we didn't have any leftovers! That's how good it was!

As a Miami native, I was so excited to find Cuban in Palm Beach. While at work, I ordered the steak sandwich.. I was disappointed that this is what they would send me, how could anybody think it is okay to pack this up....? Needless say, it ended up in the garbage. Note: had to skip lunch since I wasted my lunch break on this.. never ordering from them again. :( Somebody deserves to be spoke to. Ordered today 07/07/2023 at 10:57am

    Unwanted pasties

Unfriendly staff, pastries tasted freezer burned and old. Called in beforehand to ask for allergy clarification and the person basically yelled at me through the phone that they don't make pastries with nuts. Won't be coming back. Don't recommend

This West Palm Beach institution has been elevating east Belvedere Road for quite some time now. If you want a fast, authentic Cuban coffee and pastry before you grab a flight at PBI, this is the place. I visited Tulipan recently to try out some items. Savory items were priced on an overhead kiosk and seemed reasonable. I ordered a beef empanada and it was tasty. Like many bakeries, there were no labels or prices on any of the sweet items. I find this so frustrating, but it's pretty normal. I pointed out a few items - 4 to be exact - and found myself with a very surprising bill. I asked for the itemized receipt and the very nice lady who served me explained which item cost which: apparently one of the pie/cake slices that had a caramel layer on top was a cheesecake slice priced at $5; a Postre Chaja ($5), and 2 cookies (Alfajores, the kind rolled in coconut) at $3 each rounded out the bill. I found these a little overpriced compared to other local bakeries; next time I go in, I will have to find out the price of each item before ordering, which makes it more difficult to order in general. I only ended up trying the cookies. The shortbread part was bland and chalky, leaving an unpleasantly dry taste in my mouth, and the caramel layer was very thin; I would not order these again.

The whipped frosting on the tres leches was so creamy and delicious. Nutella is one of my favorite sweets so that donut did not disappoint either. I've…read moretried Salty in other cities, and let me tell you--the West Palm Beach location is on another level. The vibe, the freshness, the flavors... everything is just unmatched. From the moment you walk in, you're hit with that warm, buttery donut aroma that literally makes your knees weak. Their staff is always so friendly and somehow remembers to ask if you want your donuts warmed--which YES, you always do. The service here is smooth, fast, and way more welcoming than other locations I've visited. Now the donuts... they're not just desserts, they're experiences. * The Brown Butter + Salt is the perfect mix of sweet, nutty, and a touch of savory heaven. * The Guava + Cheese (a Florida classic) tastes brighter and fresher here than anywhere else. * And their rotating seasonal flavors somehow taste like they were crafted specifically for this location. Everything feels extra soft, extra rich, and extra indulgent. And don't even get me started on their coffee--smooth, bold, and the perfect pairing for every doughy masterpiece. The West Palm baristas consistently get it right. Every sip + every bite = perfection. The indoor and outdoor seating is spotless, cozy, and aesthetically perfect for photos. It truly feels like a treat-yourself escape. Bottom line: If you're going to try The Salty Donut, West Palm Beach is the ONLY location you want. They've mastered flavor, service, and atmosphere in a way the others just can't compete with. Easily a top-tier dessert stop in all of Palm Beach County.

We saw meatloaf, chicken piccata, lasagna, ribs, I mean I can go on and on. They also have a market to buy other goods. My one complaint is the staff. The guy who made our sandwiches was so polite, but he was the only one. The hot case is right next to the pizza, so you would think if the lady asked for some meatballs he would take care of it, especially since the deli line was so long. The guy in the pizza station had no customers, but still told the lady she had to wait and ask the deli for the THREE meatballs she wanted. Checking out was the same. Just rude, no acknowledgment. Then....we witnessed him drop the water jug into the ice - the same ice that servers were using to make drinks. Who knows where the bottom of the water jug has been as I'm sure he has put it down a time or two on bar tops, table tops, etc. And now, it's sitting in the ice. Gross. Lastly, there had to be 100 flies all over the outside bar. Regular flies and also fruit flies.
