Had a horrible experience. I went there with my family to bowl and due to social distancing they are doing every other lane. Since we were about 12-15+ foot from everyone else we took our mask off.. we were there about 20 min into bowling when AMBER the manager came and told everyone bowling to wear a mask. We asked why because we were so far from everyone else and she states because she said to. We refused along with 2 other families... she proceeded to turn off our bowling and no one else's. I told her I wanted a refund since we paid over $60 for 1 hr unlimited bowling, shoe rental and socks that are not even dollar tree worthy that cost $4 a pair... she refused that and started yelling at us and told us to get out... keeping in mind, her "face mask" was plastic, covered her chin and some of her mouth and did not cover any other portion of her face and was not the cloth mask required to wear there. The drinks available suck, only have pitchers for beer, food took forever, plus the manager or so called manager came and turned up the lights after first being dimmed... we asked to leave as is but apparently our skin color made a difference :( Manager returned to offer compensate I suppose with a game card. Worst arcade ever. Makes Daytona lagoon look like Dave & busters. Constantly lost money on games because half of them didn't work on the first try. Drinks were terrible. Our captain and coke tasted like cheap rum and coke, awful. My boyfriend and I couldn't even finish our drinks because they were that awful. Customer service is ATROCIOUS. We tried the photo booth, upon entering it said "call attendant", so we called a manager over. He fixed it and we took our pictures, the machine didn't print out our pictures. Instead it repeated the "call attendant" screen. We called for a manager again and nobody showed up. I walked up to customer service and they didn't seem to care, just refunded me my money for the photo booth. But what good would that do me? The booth still said call attendant, so how the fuck would we get our pictures, let alone retake some??? Never coming back. Trash. read more

I drove to my friends house to have a girls weekend. We stopped at GameTime. I ordered the chicken and waffles and was told they didn't t have any. I settled for the chicken Alfredo. After 45 min we still had not seen our food and had to find a server. Once they brought our food out mine had been sitting so long that the Alfredo had curdled and all the pasta had formed a massive lump. They offered to give me more sauce... at my expense... and when that didn't fix it they took my meal, and my card, leaving me to go across the street to order from Burger 10 (which I highly recommend by the way). The bartenders last night were definitely the bartenders of the year ! My Coworkers and I enjoyed the area of Daytona One for our Holiday gathering. What an incredible experience for our first time eating here! The portions were phenomenal, the taste was on point and the service by Sapphya and Eric was great! Not sure why this place gets such negative review. They have decent food (no vegetarian option aside from pizza), good prices on drinks. Their arcade games are pretty much exactly the same as Dave and Busters. Prizes are also nice, not cheap dollar store ones. Plenty of TV's to watch sports. Bowling was nice too. Only complaint is that half the bowling lanes were faulty. Staff didnt seem like they were in rush to fix the faulty lanes either. The pins wouldnt reset as they are connected to wires. Would return. We came there to eat on 6/15/2023 and was treated bad. We couldn't get any service for food. My husband and I have never been there and his boss invited us to come there to eat and play some games. No one would serve us food even after we bought drinks at the bar. I asked the manager about getting service and he was rude and said we had to check in with the person at the front. Then he told us as it was he was letting us sit in the chairs we were sitting in because we didn't belong there. I thought this was a restaurant where you serve food and play games. I had no idea that you had to make provisions to eat and do anything! If you have a restaurant in any tourist town, you should always be ready to serve a crowd. We walked in as a couple and the manager informed us that because there were 50 people, he couldn't serve us! He only had two servers on duty on a Thursday night in Daytona Beach, FL. They don't have to worry because the attitude and rudeness of the manager and staff, turned me off and I will never darken their doors again! I came to spend money and they told us in essence to leave because they were not prepared. The bartender was the only person that treated us with respect and was cordial. After my blood sugar fell and I was getting sick, we left and went to a real restaurant that seated us and served us with respect and dignity. read more

The absolute worst experience I've had since Covid. Disrespectful staff )morning using our hrs working waitresses) that harassed my entire party of 25+ the moment we lowered our masks to take a drink, although 3 feet away in the restaurant section, you could walk around mask free without any commentary. The hypocrisy is absolutely Disgusting. To allow us to play games hands on, spending hundreds of dollars of course, but to be overly aggressively about a pointless mask even after informing them we were all vaccinated is absurd.Thank you for letting my 4 year old know that you've been watching her and her friends the whole time not wearing masks and that the owner was also and was going to kick us out any moment. The games and bowling were fun, though it's pretty small compared to the other venues I've been too. My family and I were having a great time up until we decided to eat at the restaurant. I'm giving this place 1 star out of kindness We waited almost an hour to be sat, the food was cold, our waitress looked like she was the only one actually working while other employees stood around doing god knows what. I'm not the type of person to do a bad review but I did not have a good experience. On top of everything, our manager starting yelling at our server right in front of us and even made her cry! That's no way to treat anybody and I could tell she was very distressed. Looking at the reviews below, it looks like everybody has had similar experiences. I give it a minus ZERO. I called when they opened at 11 am. Their Yelp info says yes to reservations. That is untrue. Not Yelps fault-I called and asked all the appropriate questions. I stated we were in town for a competition and I would like to have our team come In tonight---6 and a half hours later---they stated "we do not take reservations", I said "I understand but I have a party of 25, if we come in at 5:30 what is your wait time? "Tiffany" told me we should be fine, I will take a note, what is your name". I again asked, are you sure? She said yes no problem. I asked again should I get there early to hold this spot for (25 people that want to have dinner, play games, buy drinks) NOPE should be fine..GET there EARLY and was told an hour wait by the desk, manager and DISTRICT manager, with a very "we don't really care attitude"--apparently from what I am told they bait & switch ALL the time. We 25-30 come often to Daytona---and guess what--NEVER going there again. However the restaurant ACROSS the street was wonderful and the manager was amazing, immediately held a spot for us while we contacted our big party. This is probably the worst restaurant management I've ever seen. You get one star Gametime cause I can't give you ZERO! Food took over an hour to come out and it was cold. My friends and I were having beers, never arrived. I had to ask the waiter 3 times before it showed up. He said the bar had lost the ticket so it wasn't his fault. The waiter was very nice and apologetic. We were sitting at a table right next to the kitchen entrance, and you could hear everything they were saying. They were cursing and being very disruptive!! Management!!! Get it together or you're gonna crumble! Tell your kitchen staff to focus on getting the food out in time, instead of cursing at each other... On top of everything, when we wanted to speak to a manager, he never showed up. It wasn't even that busy either! Nothing about this experience was good. My last experience here at Gametime wasn't as bad as this one, but I came back because a friend of mine worked as a waitress in the restaurant. When I texted her if she'd be there that night, she told us she quit because of the managers mistreeting her. Despite the bad news, we went anyways because of their drink specials. This place is not a bowling alley lanes are not oiled, pins are on strings lanes are short. Drinks were ok and the arcade looked identical to Dave and busters. If you're looking to bowl this place is not for you. We paid for two hours and they wouldn't refund us 5 minuets later when we realized the situation with the lanes. If you're having a birthday party or looking to blow some money on your kid on a rainy day have at it. If you're looking to bowl don't waste your time. read more

When it arrived the nachos looked as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp forever and tasted like it as well. The wait staff and managers seem disinterested in being there. Notice how management responds with the same exact statement under each negative review... they just don't care. We were treated the same way when we went to GameTime a couple of weeks ago. We waited over an hour at our table just to place an order. The bartender completely ignored me standing at the open bar for 20 minutes. We never received our food and when I finally got up to track down our waiter to tell her to cancel our 1.5hr late food, she sarcastically said "SO sorry"! Games are super expensive. If it were possible to leave zero starts I would. I spent over $500 on a party, and the reason I chose this place over the others in town was due to the fact the cards given to the cards could be used at any time with no expiration. I cal today to ask how to check the amount of tokens are left on the cards and the kid on the phone, who was extremely nice informed me that the cards that were purchased at the party were all wiped clean after the party. And that we were misinformed. Even though it was in the papers we got for the party. So over $300 wasted due to the fact that these a**hats want more money. I am cancelling the two additional parties that I booked and will never return! read more

Plenty of TVs, the games and bowling alley add fun to the evening. They were really busy and the food took a little longer than I would usually care for but our waiter was quick with drinks and was attentive. They just opened so things won't be instantaneously served on the food side but for just opening and being very busy they did a good job. I'm giving 3 stars because once we finally got our food, it was delicious. I had the shrimp burger and it was really good! My husband got the pulled pork and it came without his side of broccoli, the broccoli finally came after he was done with his sandwich. My brother got chicken fingers which didn't come out until the rest of us were done with our meals. The wings weren't very good. Our waitress Jayla was great - very apologetic & funny. Have been there twice in the couple weeks they have been open because I love games! It is a really nice place with lots of potential. So happy we have this place in Daytona and I will keep returning. Waited an hour for our appetizers and another hour for our meal. Once we got our meal, we got it to go. We know they just opened but this is kind of ridiculous. On top of it, we were told they did not take debit cards and if we wanted to pay, we'd have to go to the atm outside and withdraw cash to pay our bill. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could on GameTime. We entered at 4:41, we were seated and a server never came. At 5:04, a family was seated right next to us and a server came immediately. Gametime is a new restaurant so I can understand why they're ticket times take so long right now... being a server I can understand this unlike other people. It's a great atmosphere & food is absolutely amazing once I did get it. Things will get better over time if others would just understand the process of opening a restaurant as big as theirs.
