My husband and I were looking for something to do on a rainy weekend. We perused Groupon and found a great deal ($20 for 3-hours timed play) for GameTime, so we checked them out. GameTime is located in the One Daytona plaza across the street from Daytona International Speedway. As you walk in, you'll see a full-service restaurant to your right and the arcade in front of you. My husband and I chose to eat before we dove into the arcade games. Our server was great - friendly and gave us a run down on how everything worked in terms of game play and discussed how pretty much all the food is made fresh, in house. We ordered the fried mozzarella as an appetizer and decided that these tie with Carrabbas in terms of best fried mozzarella - they were sooo good! For my entree, I ordered the GameTime nachos with chicken. Those were great too and filling! My husband opted for the chicken wings (the jerk flavor) and loved them. After we ate, we headed to the arcade. We had a blast! They have a big variety of games (they also have a bowling alley that we'll try on our next visit) with a combination of classic arcade games and ones with the newest technology. We will come back to GameTime without a doubt, especially when we have visitors in town looking for some big time fun! read more

This is the worst mismanage place I have ever been too. I would give it 0 stars if I could. They have a restaurant bar, with only 1 bartender working and no waitress working. The front desk that is supposed to welcome guests also had no one working there. Please don't make this a stop if you ever come to Dayton. read more

I was with my family and I had spent about $100 just playing a ball drop game. When I timed it just right, it went straight through the jackpot! However instead of being credited my tickets, it didn't give anything to my card. When we had gone to the counter, Jordyn helped us out and called someone to help. This woman who was working, came over to the game, and asked us about what happened. We went through what happened and she had asked about checking the ticket count. We hadn't then, so we check it and I had about 1,600 tickets. She ran it through and the reader said the last credited amount was 20 tickets, meanwhile the jackpot was 640+ and I hadn't played any game after this happened. We kept trying to tell her that the jackpot hadn't credited to my card and didn't count, we even told her to check the cameras. Eventually she got her manager over, we told him the situation and he told her to manually give us the tickets. After that, we didn't even want to grab food there after how rude that woman was. Even while explaining what was going on with jackpot, she wouldn't understand, she would scoff like we wouldn't understand her. When we thought she had understood, she'd turn it around again saying that I hit the 20 tickets instead of the jackpot. We won't be coming back, if I wasn't with my family, I think that woman would've taken the advantage of me. Only good thing was Jordyn always being so kind and helpful. read more

We were sat at a table and waited about 15 minutes before watching another family get seated directly behind us. Almost immediately, a server came over to take their drink orders--while we still hadn't been acknowledged. When the server returned with their drinks and began taking their food order, I tried to politely explain that we had yet to be spoken to or offered anything. I was essentially shrugged off, and the server continued taking the other table's order. At that point, we decided to leave without eating. As for the game area, there were no staff members attending the prize counter. We waited nearly 30 minutes before finally flagging down an employee who happened to walk by. Me and my family were there tonight celebrating my 9 yr old nieces party when out of no where we were asked to leave becasue the kids who are all 9 and under where being too rowdy and not once was it brung to our attention so that we could correct them. my family left with no issue after spending $300+ in the establishment and while we are outside taking our kids pictures the police approached us saying they were called. This was nothing less than a racist attack on my family. do not go here if you are black because they will paint your kids to be aggresive when all they are doing is being kids. read more

We decided to dine at GameTime because we have children and it was appealing! Unfortunately we were disappointed with our experience and we do not recommend this restaurant. When we arrived we were seated immediately but our server didn't come over for approximately ten minutes, he took another five minutes to get a water and two sodas. Upon review, we decided to purchase the dine and play deal that was awkwardly explained to us as a deal where you pay $26 dollars to eat and play some games. That was not the case, it ended up being seven dollars off. Needless to say, it was a disappointing! The food was flavorless and some of the games were out of order. My husband and I split a salad and wings, the salad tasted like it was premade and siting in the fridge and the wings came with feathers! The manager came over and asked if we would like more wings, when we said no, there was nothing else done. Please save your money and go elsewhere. I'm reviewing based on the Free Game Card they had on the promotion for the Daytona 500. We went to the information booth (AKA the bowling counter) and asked how to get it. The lady told us to go sign up with the paper up front and in 2-3 days, we'd get an email with the game card information. What kind of promotion is that for a 1 day event (well, it turned into a 2 day event). Needless to say, we were disappointed. We did play a few games anyway and it's your typical stuff where they have cool video games (lots of racing) and other games where you can win stuff (toys, games, candy). It takes a lot of tickets to get something nice, but I can see it being fun. It was clean with nice restrooms, it had a bar area with food and such. We didn't stay too long as I didn't want to give them too much more of my business for their crappy promotion. read more

Went to Gametime and the red head at the bar immediately asked us for payment before I ordered or ate as as tab wasn't being opened. Many times she walked past without asking one word or offering any additional thing. There might have been 5-6 people at the bar so it wasn't slammed or busy. However every time a song came on she was singing and focusing on that and constantly chatting with coworkers. I'll never return again to eat here unless I want to be treated like crap and pay a lot of money for mediocre chicken pasta and beg for a water refill. We decided to go to GameTime after the xfinity race to let the dust settle and get a bite to eat before calling an Uber. As we arrived we noticed the security guard in a confrontation with a couple and a young child. The woman told the guard that she had a poor attitude so the guard told her in return that she wasn't going to allow her in. We walked past and went to the outside bar. We all had coolers with us that we had taken to the race. The bar tenders told us that they would not serve us because we had coolers and we had to leave. Told us it was a Daytona One rule. This bar was pretty cool. The original drinks that I ordered were not available because they did not have the ingredients. The bartender told the manager that the products were not at the bar and she was told that they did not have have the ingredients. I had to order a different drink which was made correctly and tasted great. The manager and staff were arguing in front of customers about how to mark out a drink that was began but could not be completed. My wife's drinks were made correctly and tasted great. The bartender was exciting as she made the drinks. She was very attentive to the customers. The prices were very affordable during happy hour. The all you can play game card toward the end of the night is awesome! It was a great experience but wish they had a full open bar for the drinks featured. read more

We had an awful experience here when we came on a Saturday night! We just wanted to have some fun, play games, and drink a few. Boy were we in for a surprise! The place was filthy. No one was paying attention to all of the drinks left at the games, trash thrown on the floor. The only thing required were masks. The staff was not friendly at all! We tried to go to the bar and order some drinks and the bartender was completely frazzled and yelled that the bar would be closing because they had no cups, no ice, no beer! What kind of bar doesn't have this?!? They could have been a little nicer about it too. No need to get rude at us when we had just arrived and were just trying to order. The only plus side to this place is that you can pay by the hour to play. Unlimited games (excluding some of the ones that give out prizes) for the time period you pay for. I like this because I am not interested in getting those cheap prizes anyways. Overall, probably won't be coming back here until they get it together. More organization and attention is definitely needed! read more

Let me begin by making the over generalized statement that from where I stand pretty much everything at One Daytona is bloated from a price standpoint. A lot of style over substance and if there actually is any substance to be had, you will pay dearly for it. We came here on the advice of two locals who have been many times. If you care, read on. If not, so what. The two locals warned us that the food here is pricey and of a middling quality so we knew we would avoid those offerings. FWIW, there is no atmosphere here as the noise level and the amount of TV's make this an ADD sufferers worst nightmare. The boilerplate on the GT website claims that this is somehow "affordable" family fun. $92 gets you two hours of "unlimited" play and they consider that affordable? Maybe on Uranus but at least on planet Earth in my tax bracket, no. I've been to other arcade places in PA, NJ and the defunct one that existed in Daytona where a Benjamin will let you play ALL DAY, not two hours. Of course there are two caveats to even that: 1. If you want to play for tickets so that you can redeem them for cheap Chinese plastic crap at the end that will cost you more. 2. If you buy into the card that supposedly does not accrue tickets you will waste a fair amount of time after games waiting for the game to load tickets/tokens/credits on to your card. Also if you try and re-play the same game too soon you sometimes get a message that your card is in use even though it clearly is not. Those two probably ate up a good 10 minutes of our two hours waiting for nothing. With that said, it was a Saturday early evening in January and while the bowling was busy the rest of the building's crowd was light to manageable. Some of the games were very enjoyable like Hot Shot Basketball, Air Hockey, 2 Minute Drill and...I don't know because aside from sports games I personally don't give a damn. The kids enjoyed it which is what mattered to me but since none of us are "gamers" after our two hours were up we were more than ready to leave and even though we were still in town for a few more days, no one mentioned a thing about making a return trip which to me speaks volumes as to what this place is all about. read more

I went there with my family and two kids. took almost an hour and half to get 3 fettucine Alfredo's and 2 chicken tenders then it took another 10mines while everyone else was eating to get my food. The kids chicken tenders and fries came out cold. The chicken on the Alfredo tasted horrible. Safe to say I will not be going back there. read more

The atmosphere was great. Besides that l wasn't impressed. The food took forever and once it arrived it wasn't that pleasing. My Nachos looked as if they'd been reheated. My husbands mac n cheese burger was very dry despite asking for it to be cooked medium. I did order the hibiscus margarita which was very strong n good. Once we got to the game room. We did not have any food but the games and bowling looked fun. We walked around and tried a few games. They are a bit pricey to play (I remember when it used to be a quarter - haha) but still plenty of fun to have. Bowling looked great with the different colored lanes adding to a fun atmosphere. Having read the reviews of those that have eaten here I will be dubious of ordering. With no Gluten free options there will be several friends that we will not be able to bring here at all for food. Ok I love this place!! First visit and our intent was to just stay for a short time - Christmas party but we needed up staying for four hours. Had some good food, service was great. It was buffet style and my only comment or semi negative comment was the sandwiches didn't have labels so someone who does not eat meat really did t have any options. As far as food, Dave and Busters is much better. The cheesessteak dry, alfredo full of grease. Server in a cloud and when she was informed of the issues failed to inform the mgr. He finally came over and admitted he was aware of the grease. Server did not explain the system with points so we were charged for gametime we did not want. Mgr did adjust the bill accordingly after my daughter's insistence. Issue of training. I suggest you forego the restaurant and just enjoy the games. read more

Came in 3:00pm on a Tuesday. There was one employee to cover both the prize desk and the lanes. I paid $40 to go bowling. My pins stopped working 2-3 times during the hour. The girl at the front counter was a superstar. She was running like crazy to handle both counters with about 50+ people in the whole building. When our lane was down down for 10 mins, she gave us 15 added back on. She's the reason it's 3 stars instead of 1. Management needs to be better prepared for incidences like this and Carter deserves a hefty raise, she's a real MVP. read more

Well tonight was my second time visiting--- had a great experience during the soft opening... but now sadly I have to say ALL of the negative reviews here are accurate. We were promptly seated at a bar high top and it took our server a few minutes to come over, ok no worries I get that, busy night with some larger parties. She looked irritated, but again I can look past that.... we ordered drinks and an appetizer. After not seeing her for 15 minutes we followed up to get a Luke warm appetizer. After this is when it all went downhill.... she had some issue with another table and NEVER looked our way after that. I had to go to the bar after 10 minutes to get a refill and ketchup... another 20 minutes I had to go ask for a box and at this point I finally asked for a manager. I am extremely understanding and never ask for a manager, but come on! You could tell it was extremely unorganized, somehow our server had tables on both sides of the bar, Only a few registers working to cash out customers and all of the servers waiting in line, and lots of bickering between staff members. We went and played games after that...I opened a tab at the bar and reluctantly let them keep my card because they required if. Well that took another 20 minutes when closing out for them to find my card.... and I heard another girl talking to someone and they couldn't find hers! The manager was nice enough to comp some items and overall the food was decent so I'll give them 2 stars for that. Sadly, until some huge things change we won't be going back. This plans needs new management. Half of your games don't work properly and either just don't start at all or start and are either missing balls or pieces to the game. On top of that the only sign that says time cards don't give tickets is the bowling station but when I bought mine at the kiosk like everyone else it didn't say this. Then as we played the machine said "TICKETS COLLECTED" however when I took my 3 year old up to the counter to collect his prizes I was told timed cards don't give prizes. When I tried to talk to a manager I was stuck waiting while an employee at the bowling station sat and chatted with his friends while he listened to music. Perhaps hiring more than just children to work here? I left before even speaking to a manager and probably won't come back. Every other arcade gives tickets on timed cards and also doesn't cheap out and lock out half the other games. Really very disappointed at simple errors read more

Having a party .... skip this place. As we looked for a place for an office party, we ended up here. They had a cancelation and welcomed us (more than 2 days notice). Nothing fancy, just a pizza party. Food was out on time (a buffet), so one regular pizza, the all different types, but after a little while, most was gone and told that was it. 15 or so minutes later we were told, wait, sorry, there is more out soon, go and use your 1 hour cards for game time, so we did. After that hour, we came back to the same set of food, by then it was cold. By then the allotted time was up, and told we can't take anything home, even the cook came out to take pictures of all the food that was to be wasted and thrown away. We were charged for people that didn't attend, and after following up with the company, I was told how they were shocked with "all they pulled off" in such short time, when the paperwork said 2 days notice and it was pizza. We were charged for an additional 5 people that didn't show, never had anyone from management reach out (even though they were CC'd in the mail), and outside of the kids having fun playing some games, the party side was not at all professional and the lack of anyone reaching out sealed the deal on the 1* rating. read more

I don't know what has happened between now & 2 months ago but bad! Managers look like your bothering them & fussing at hostess in front of & through customers. Our waitress could not tell me what the seasoned veggies were. Just mixed veggies. I don't want to waste them off I won't eat them. They have a " don't give a crap" attitude & it shows on almost everyone's face. They were short wait staff so we had to wait over 30 mins for a table at lunch time.
