A night and day difference between these gentlemen and the Tyson's staff. Carlos listen to my concern and came up with a solution that was fair and understandable. He signed me up for Best Buy plus member and I was able to make my exchange without a problem. This is the type of customer service all Best Buy stores should train their staff to have. I highly recommend the Sterling location over Tysons and trust me it's worth the drive. Keep up the excellent work!

Noises everywhere- TVs suddenly booming to try to get your attention, three different places pushing out their tunes at top volume, PA constantly announcing or calling people. And the alarms - alarms everywhere, all the time. Employees don't even acknowledge them anymore. Then too, employees don't acknowledge customers either. We stood in front of the Verizon desk while three employees shot the shit with each other for five minutes, ignoring us. Finally my wife speaks up and asks for help and they look at each other trying to figure who's going to lose their battle and have to help the bothersome customer. And the help? Not much. Tried to pretend they didn't understand the ask until my wife - visibly annoyed now and not hiding it - asks in the simplest terms possible. Long story short, $30 to join their "insider plus" program, had to leave her phone for someone to look at it who was arriving later that hour, and go back in two hours to pick it up. But the mystery person who arrived later apparently made it do the thing, so there's that.

But let's be…read morereal--I wasn't about to waste my time at Best Buy talking to some kid who knows more about TikTok than tech. Enter The Big Screen Store in Loudoun. We strolled in, fully convinced we were "just shopping." Kevin, the lone warrior holding down the store on a Saturday, greeted us and let us do our thing. No pressure, no awkward sales tactics--just pure, knowledgeable guidance when we needed it. The moment he shut off both TVs to show us that one had ZERO glare, my husband was sold. Then came pricing. I had done my homework, and while Amazon had it for $100 less (sketchy shipping included), The Big Screen Store had a tax waiver and free white-glove delivery. That was a no-brainer. We bought it on the spot, and the entire experience was smooth as butter. If you're in the market for a Samsung TV, this is where you need to go. Five stars, no hesitation!

I purchased an entertainment center from them with obvious defects. They tried to tell me that a "hole" in the cabinet was a natural occurrence (a knot in the wood). They offered to take the cabinet in return if I paid shipping OR I could exchange for the floor model!?!?!?! Sells reps tell you that they'll take care of you, but in the end, the "home office" is the only one with authority to make decisions about returns.

I brought over 6 mobile lines to transfer, and ended up with 6 new phones programmed for my family members while retaining their original phone numbers. Sounds easy right? Well there were a few hurdles to clear for various reasons, and Carlos was there every step of the way to help get them cleared up for us. While it took a couple of days to get everyone transferred, he prioritized getting my daughter's phone finished while we were literally driving her down to drop her off at college! I made a few trips back to the store to get the old phones traded in and complete those transfers and every time Carlos would be multi-tasking assisting more than one customer. But he'd look up, give me the nod, and be over as soon as he was at a waiting point for the other customers. Oh and Carlos also helped me get FIOS set up for my new home with a great deal. I've had too many miserable experiences with mobile providers, and I'm happy to say the folks at the Dulles 28 store ended that trend.

The Best Buy people that came earlier said they would be only able to install it while making holes in the wall, near the floor under every speaker and also some holes in the ceiling of the basement and they would not repair those holes. Glebe was able to much smarter without any visible damage so no repairs were needed. His charge was a lot lower than Best Buy so I tipped him well.

But my experience with them was bad from start to finish. After my TV suddenly stopped working, I sent Glebe TV an e-mail they have listed on their Facebook page (because their website doesn't work) asking for more information. After 2-3 days passed, I got no response. This was a sign of bad things to come, but I disregarded it as no big deal. I then called them, got the needed information, and dropped off my TV a couple days later. They charge a $95 non-refundable deposit fee to get an estimate, which can be applied later to the cost of repairing the TV. While dropping off the TV, I was told I'd get a call in "a couple days". A couple days came and went. I called 14 days later after never hearing from them. They still hadn't even tested the TV to see what was wrong with it. I'm frustrated, but continue to wait. I call back a few days later once again and no status updates. At that point I was then told a technician will call me "first thing in the morning". This call never came. Finally, after 20 days they called me first and gave me an estimate. So just to be clear, I paid $95 dollars for an estimate that took 20 days. For me, it would've cost another $200 or so to fix the TV so it made more sense to buy another TV. If I would've known it'd take 20 days to get an estimate, I would've never went to Glebe in the first place. They never apologized. I asked for some type of refund for the lengthy and expensive estimate and lack of communication on their part, but I was met with dismissive attitudes and kept getting the run-around to call back at another time. At this point, TV's have become throwaway items and in most cases it's probably more cost effective to just buy a new one. I don't recommend you take your TV to a business that can take up to 20 days to give an estimate, does not initiate contact with their customers, and is dismissive/unapologetic to it's customers. Very disappointed.
