Sad part, I'm a sealed Etb collector. When I finally got home to store my new Etb. I inspect the box. Come to find out, there is a small tear, of the factory seal, on the bottom side corner.. I immediately fell upset because 1. I didn't inspect it prior to buying it (part my fault) and secondly, staff didn't inspect the product prior to bagging either. 3. Trying to catch a restock, in today's climate is extremely rough when you have a day job and or lack reliable inside scoop to vendors restock schedules etc. Makes finding any ETBs scarce at close to MSRP ($49.99). So giving this rating was hard because overall I appreciate this LCS (local card shop) for giving their customers a chance to own new release products for TRUE MSRP prices over Target etc.

But when I pulled in here, I wasn't mad. Visiting a mall early in the morning is weird. It is mostly deserted. No stores open. Almost completely void of people except those in here doing their jobs. Kind of gives you the 'Dawn of the Dead' vibe, like you are one of the only survivors left in the world. Odd to say, but almost peaceful. This mall seems to be doing fairly well. I did not see many vacancies. Which is great, and almost always the case in this area. This mall feels vast. The layout feels like you need to know exactly what you are getting in here, or set aside time to allow you to freely wander in here. My stop, to use the facilities, took a bit longer than I expected. I have never been here before, and this was not a good thing. I ended up parking in what I thought was the middle of the mall, however, not knowing where the restrooms were, I ended up walking for a while. What was interesting was when I did finally find the restrooms, if I would have used one of the other entrances nearby, it would have been a much quicker stop. But I wouldn't have had the zombie vibe.

With October being a Breast Cancer Awareness month the search for all things pink can go one of two ways, really good or really bad when supplies are limited. On the hunt for a pink bandana I was lucky enough to score two different ones to choose from. Even midday there was a little bit of a line at the register but it moved rather quickly. Once there was two customers waiting to check out, I noticed they opened another register to speed up the checkout process. Putting the customer first, I like that!! The sweet lady that checked me out advised that the 40% coupon would work on my purchase and was kind enough to let me look up the coupon on my phone so that I could utilize it. Selection was plentiful of almost everything in the store as they had not only Halloween decorations but Christmas one too!!! If you use a cricket machine then this stores for you as they had a whole aisle plus of goodies for ya!

We were in the adhesives aisle, she was about 10 feet from me, when an employee named Silvia walked by and told me, rudely, "Your daughter needs to stay with you." No hello, no offer to help. When I asked what she meant, she said if I didn't like it I could walk away or she'd "write me up as trespassing." I was standing there holding the items I was about to pay for. I asked how a paying customer could be trespassing. She didn't answer, just repeated I could walk away or else. I asked for the manager. She said she was the manager. I asked for her manager. She said she works for herself and owns the store. Michaels is a corporate chain, not a franchise, so that's not possible. The cashier told me the actual store manager is Carla. Two other customers in the aisle saw the whole thing. Both put their items down and walked out. One said out loud, "I'm not giving you my money." I did the same. I've shopped at this location for years and never had a problem until today. Nobody should be threatened with trespassing for shopping with their kid. Not coming back until this is addressed.
