My old Wii is having some issues and my sibling found this store for me to check out. I drove from…read morethe city to get it diagnosed and the repair guy wouldn't even look at it which was super frustrating. He recommended other repair stores but why have a support area if you won't even bother trying to diagnose an issue much less fix it? No pricing on any packaging was also weird but they do have a website that's mostly usable. Cashiers can also check prices and stock for you. I ended up buying a few games just so I didn't go out there for nothing but was pretty disappointed based on the services offered on the website. The selection of games is really solid but I don't recommend them for tech support.

We came here to get our Switch's charging port repaired. They were super friendly and much more affordable than other bigger franchises doing repairs in the area. There is a shortage of repair techs in the area, we were quoted a month for the repair which was the same as the other shops. Regardless, our repair was completed and at least 30% cheaper than the competitors. The shop is huge and had so much fun merch, my sons and husband were loving exploring their huge selection of games, while I was checking out their kawaii hello kitty plushies and caps. A little bit out of the way, but definitely worth the trip to support this local business!

I ordered two items for my son for Christmas, but because he's three, it didn't really matter if he…read moregot them by Xmas. Unfortunately the last ordered I'd placed with them was for my niece who lives in Minnesota (we're in CA), and inadvertently had the order shipped to MN. I caught it as soon as I had received the confirmation and called them within 3 minutes (I know this because their rep said, "Wow, you submitted this order 3 minutes ago and you're already calling us?!), to rectify the situation. The guy on the first call said it wouldn't be a problem and flagged my account or something. So I called the next day to confirm and the second person didn't have a record of any "flag" but said she'd do it and it wouldn't be a problem. Another day goes by and I get an email confirmation that my items have shipped and are going (wait for it)... to Minnesota! So I call again and explain and after being on hold on and off for over a half an hour and not being able to speak to a supervisor ("The supervisors are taking care of important matters" I was told), I was told a supervisor would call UPS to stop my delivery and they'd call me back. After 8 hours of not hearing, I call back and NO ONE knows what I"m talking about, including the supervisor I again couldn't speak to but whose messaged was relayed by the person on the phone. This is the same person who told me it was my fault for putting the wrong address. I was just left a message from the supervisor that went exactly like this: "Mr. X this is Amy from Back to Basic Toys, unfortunately we're not able to change the address on your package. Have a great holiday" I wish I was kidding. Needless to say I'll be reversing the charges with my credit card company and doing my best to spread this review to as many sites as possible. Unfortunately what is posted on the internet is true, the customer service sucks, they don't care about the customer, and don't have the first clue what customer service is. This is why Amazon is taking over the world. At least they stand behind their products and procedures.

Quick tip, have a list ready to go pick up groceries. Another quick tip, remember to bring that list so you won't have to fight to remember what the purpose for stopping here was. Without everything in front of me, I had to make a list on the run, with items that I knew would make a meal. Hard thing is that every time I would remember an item, I would have to run to a different end of the grocery section. I didn't grab much, but I felt like I was overcharged a bit for some of the items. The total of the bill compared to the number of items just wasn't matching. I know, tariffs, inflation, and what not contributed to the price. But I still feel like the prices are getting out of hand.

I visited this location on May 13, 2026, for an oil change service on my 2013 Toyota Highlander. Shortly after the service, the vehicle developed a severe oil leak and low oil pressure warning and was later deemed unsafe to drive by an independent mechanic. The mechanic documented heavy oil leakage around the oil filter housing shortly after the Walmart service and warned of possible engine damage due to oil loss. The entire experience from the beginning reflected negligence and reckless behavior. The front customer service employee appeared more focused on texting on his phone than properly assisting customers or carefully reviewing service orders. Staff behavior throughout the process was rude, careless, and unprofessional at multiple levels. After the issue occurred, repeated calls to the Auto Care Center went unanswered, management was difficult to reach, and customer service provided little clear guidance. I ultimately had to travel a long distance in person just to force the issue to be documented and formally entered into the claims system. The vehicle is now sitting unusable at a mechanic facility while I wait for Walmart's claims team to respond, with no clear timeline or guidance provided. The entire process has caused major stress, transportation hardship, financial uncertainty, and loss of time. Completely unacceptable experience from a company of this size.

Homegoods - Lamp 1 of 2 that we bought

This was our first visit to a Home Goods store. We needed to buy new lamps for our bedroom…read morenightstand. As we were discussing where we should start looking, Home Goods came up in conversation. Thus, we agreed that since there was one in Herndon, that is where we'll start. Home Goods is one of those places that has an ever-changing selection of items. In other words, you may see an item you like but don't buy it then and there, it may not be there when you return. Upon entering the store, we looked around to get our bearings. I saw a sign for furniture and told my husband that lighting would probably be nearby. That turned out to be correct. They had about three or four aisles of lamps. Much to our surprise, we saw two matching lamps that we both liked. Since we had never shopped here before, I looked for a salesperson to ask how it all worked. Do we take the lamps to the register...or what? She followed me back to the lamps and unplugged them, then put them in our cart. Oh...okay. Now we know, if there's a next time. The cashier was friendly and efficient. So far, we're happy with the new lamps, and we were pleased with the price. We'll have to take the time to explore the whole store to see what else is available.
