This is my family's go-to store to buy kid gifts! They also have the best Christmas and Hanukkah tradition where they have a paper and a mailbox for the kids to write down what they want for the holidays! The staff is always so helpful and kind. My kids truly love visiting this store. They also have a customer perk program that is the icing on the cake! Highly recommend! read more

Me and my baby walked in kind early morning during weekdays. So there was no one but 2 people working there. No saying hello or even an acknowledgment that I am there. But there were chatting so I thought oh maybe they didn't realize and I just walked around a loop so there is no way they didn't see me. Still nothing when I was exiting, nope nada not a single 'bye' or anything. It's just not a good feeling that the employees don't even say hello to a customer. I think they lose at least... one customer. I will never go there again. read more

Every age bracket is represented from newborns, to toddlers, up through tweens. The variety of toys is mesmerizing and you'll enjoy just walking through each of the sections. Children can choose between areas such as, Stem toys, legos, dress up, games, crafts, books, dolls, and the largest array of Calico Critters I have ever seen in person. They offer complimentary gift wrap on all your purchase that they do before you even walk away fRom the counter. For kids birthdays they have a open closet with baskets that children can fill up with things that they want for their birthday then people can just come to the store and pick out of those particular items which gift to grant your kid. It's called the Birthday Vault. :) There's even an online wishlist too. They also offer a variety of activities throughout the month that you child can participate in with our local kiddies. While their prices are not the cheapest in comparison to Amazon, Target and Walmart for the same toys, there's something about being able to hands, look, touch things in person and in some instances actually play with the toy. Love this store - so bummed they closed Leesburg, because its hard for me to get to this location. But totally worth it when I do. After dance class today my kids happened to notice the open doors to Go Bananas as we were walking back to the car and finally noticed it was a toy store! It took them long enough. ;) Of course they wanted to go in. Lots of hands on toys for the kids to touch. Many educational toys and some that were not. I think my kids just added a few items to their wishlist so I imagine we will be back to do more than take a peek at some point soon. :) read more

I swear, Go Bananas gets half of its business from kids leaving classes at Bella Ballerina - it's a great location. Go Bananas is one of the few stand alone toy stores in the area. (The only other one I can think of is in old McLean.) Prices are a little bit higher than Amazon or Target, but not astronomically - and sometimes you want to actually see things before you buy them. There's a good selection of toys for ages newborns through maybe seven years old. They also have a small book selection. People running late for birthday parties will appreciate their wrapping service. Staff is helpful and friendly. read more

I try to avoid boutique style toy stores because prices tend to be over the top but this place has fair (similar to Target, Amazon, Walmart, even FiveBelow) prices for unique gifts, I was pleasantly surprised and will bring my kiddo next time. read more

We love this place! My kids play with toys, while I study their interests for gift lists. Their toys are not the cheap, plastic brands you see elsewhere. Their book section is large, and I appreciate seeing new things there. I love how the store is set up, and I love that it's inside the Brambletown Town Center. We can walk there, the kids can play, and we can browse other shops. The store is very clean, and the employees are always friendly. read more

Nice store and nice selection, but prices are pretty steep! There were a few times I came in and the girls (workers there) just talking among themselves without greeting customers. One time....2 girls working there were playing cards. I hope they improve customer service and experience. read more

We visited here shortly after our older daughter was born. It is in a great location and I love the selection of toys. Most are very educational, lots of m&d, hape, and calico critters. However, the prices...ouch. I would definitely checked amazon as you can get the same products shipped to your house in 2 days for cheaper than 99% of the items in the store. The service is fine and it is in a great location so I have no doubts that it will do just fine. read more

This store is packed with unique toys you can't find at a regular toys store, but they are expensive. That's not why i gave it 2 stars. I knocked off 3 stars because the girls who work there need to take some courses in customer service. The manager is very rude. She gets annoyed if you ask her a question. They don't even thank you or say have a nice day after your purchase. The sign on the door says they are looking for bubbly personalities to work there. Hopefully they are planning to replace the ones that are currently there, starting with the manager. ****you are confusing me with another unsatisfied customer. I was not there during any sidewalk sale. I did not talk to any owner. This shows you it is not an isolated incident. The girls need to learn basic customer service skills. A great place to go if you're in the Brambleton area and you need that birthday gift for your kid's party that you forgot about, and you need it NOW! Very friendly staff with a really unique selection of toys. Gift wrapping is free, and done by people who really know how to gift-wrap! This shop reminds me of an authentic, small-town store. Tons of neat-O things your won't find at the big-box stores, at reasonable prices. Right in the middle of the Brambleton Town Center area, within walking distance to just about everything (the grocery store, Hair Cuttery, Peets Coffee, Subway, and more). Parking can sometimes be crowed in the large combined parking area, but if you're OK with parking on the other side of the lot, I've never not been able to find a place to park with a little elbow-room to spare. read more
