I was just browsing and didn't have any questions or requests from the staff, but based on interactions with others, they know their stuff. This is not a surface-level, small store where they display a tiny collection. They have almost everything. I think that's the most important thing you need to know about this place. I did notice the retro consoles and games like the SNES are priced quite steeply here. They are rare to come by in Northern Virginia, so I'd expect that.

In addition to the various hobby shop related wares - there are lots of neat little bits to the store - a miniature old school pinball machine; a little red wooden wagon mounted on the wall; upstairs on a door - a sign that painted with the words: "The Speakeasy," harkening back to an earlier time when a previous business conducted wine tastings and such upstairs at this location. To my surprise, when we walked in, there were no customers--just the cashier (the owner's wife). My friend and I started browsing the jewelry section and found a few cute pieces, but we noticed the cashier hovering nearby, which felt suspicious. It genuinely seemed like she was watching us to make sure we were "only looking," and it gave the impression she thought we might take something. It was extremely uncomfortable and made it hard to shop in peace. The whole experience changed how I feel about the store. I wouldn't shop there again, nor would I recommend it.
