In addition to my original post, there were NO STAINS on the suit, NOTHING MISSING ON IT EITHER. The main point here is Why not assess ONE SUIT right in front of me, with no other customers to tend to? Why is it this has happend to others as well? You do your business the way you want to. We have the right to discuss it here though. Beware of assessment, have them do it in front of you. I don't bring stained clothes to be sold anywhere! I'm not an idiot! Also as I said, worn ONE TIME and dry cleaned. No stains, nothing missing. This isn't about $ ....its bad business. Keep the back pack! Sell it on eBay! It's brand new with tags. read more

This shop is a hidden gem! They have a great selection of nice, gently used items. Great prices and very friendly staff. Buying new baby clothes is such a waste; they're worn a handful of times then never fit again! This shop provides a sustainable solution without compromising quality. They also have a frequent customer program and monthly sales for even better deals. One star off because the store doesn't have a good website. Also, I have not tried to consign anything there, but it seems like consigners have to sign up with a separate online service to manage their accounts. The owner is so rude. Bad customer service and owner is okay with being rude even to kids. I just finished encouraging my son to throw his small cup away and the lady at the register had the audacity to sigh through her thick mask and roll her eyes at my sons request. Then she proceeded to tell us this story about her trash and how she couldn't accept it in the store. Instead we needed to walk back outside the store and walk further down to throw it in the outside trash. You need to work on your customer skills and how you approach situations. I would have been fine walking outside to throw the cup away. Your sighing and rolling of the eyes was completely unnecessary and honestly encouraged me to spend my hard earned money at your store. I LOVE this place! It has helped me tenfold clothe my two little children with like-new, fashionable, and affordable pieces. How could I have done it without them? Thrift stores don't compare; this place is a gem. Toys and book section is perfectly sized for tots to explore and pick through without it becoming a frenzied "I want I want". I sell my stuff through here too and do fairly well. Most of the time I have a balance that I use when I shop. A lot gets rejected but I don't take offense, they are curating a store, so even if I'm surprised, it isn't unfair. I always choose to pick the rejected pieces up and it is ready for me. Consignor beware. Once you drop off your clothes to consign, you may not be treated fairly. I dropped off a about 50 items of seasonally appropiate brand name clothing (Hanna Andersson, Janie and Jack, etc) in good condition. Some items were unworn and I did not attempt consign anything pilled or stained. I spent two afternoons ensuring this was the case before I took the clothing in, and items were organized, folded, and ready. I have consigned clothing before and I know what to look for. I called back and was told that they accepted only 4 items, the rest was in very poor condition. I do not believe that assessment. I should have had them do the intake evaluation in front of me. Leaving your clothing for later evaluation is an invitation to get hustled. Perfectly legal of course, but I feel played. I would have spent less time and done better posting on Craigslist or Ebay. Okay, I have my thick skin on. Waiting for a reply, "Wear it Again, Kid". I see that you typically respond by blaming the consignor. read more

I've always done very well here. I wouldn't say it's crazy cheap or anything like that, but reasonable in price. The selection of toys, clothes, and books always offers something fun. It's probably just me but the "your husband called and said you can buy anything you want" sign always irks me, but that's honestly the only quibble I've ever had with the place. Turnover (in inventory, not employees!) seems high, so it's not weird to go visit every month or so. You'll find things you didn't see before. read more

You name it, they have. However get ready to search all over the place! They have sooo many things still in bags and stuff everywhere that it's a bit much when you're trying to find something. It's a bit hard to find the store since the sign blends with the rest of the shops. I bet they would sell so much more if they put some effort to organize and make things look a little better. I really value this place especially when I can rid my home of bulky things and wait for them to sell somewhere else! I usually never collect a check because I buy things in store, like snow bibs and dress shirts that I need quickly and cheap. Some times I pay more than I would at Target but it's the convenience of dropping off anytime that I value most. read more

I visited Wear it Again, Kid! in Leesburg today for the first time. This is a children's consignment store that is packed wall to wall with clothes and baby accessories. Theres some toys and maternity clothes, too. My impression upon walking in, was "Wow! This store is pretty big." Then my second impression was that it I was that most of the Wear it Again shoppers must be 1950's housewives, because the music playing was droning Frank Sinatra and other hits from the 50's/60's. It certainly wasn't targeted to mothers with younger children who were probably brought up in the 80's and 90's. There was only one other shopper in the store while we were there as long as one associate behind the counter who was working on tagging clothing. She never looked up to greet us when we came in, acted bothered when my daughter asked politely if there was a changing room, and never smiled at us once during our transaction at the register even though I tried to make pleasantries with her. I'm not sure if this was on off-day, but I didn't feel welcomed or appreciated for making a purchase. What would bring people back isn't the smiling faces, but the selection and prices. So, let's get to that. Selection was good. Being spring, there was plenty of summer item, and a few lingering winter items. Wear it Again is a consignment store, meaning previously worn clothing items. I was expecting prices to reflect that, but I saw t-shirts from Kohl's or Target priced at nearly retail. In fact, I could have bought items off clearance at those stores for cheeper and they would have been new. I didn't mind paying a little more for boutique items, but those were only about half of the selection. Price tags were printed in different colors, so I'm presuming that is to tell how long items have been on sale with markdowns over time. That's how most consignment stores work, but I couldn't see anywhere how the price/color code system might have worked. Overall, I may shop here again if I'm looking for a deal. But, with seasonal consignment sales, thrift stores, and yard sales all over the area, the associate at the store would need to be more personable before I'd want to hang out there much. read more

I was on the search for GoGo Babyz car seat transporters. I heard through the grapevine that this store had two in-stock. Score! I checked the company's website before I headed over -- they only take items in excellent condition and won't take anything damaged/missing parts. Sweet! I grabbed the GoGos and took off with my loot. I admit, it never occurred to me to check if they work with TODAY'S car seats. Yup! These stinkers are obsolete. Apparently, they stopped making the model I purchased in 2008. Now I'm stuck with two hunks of junk because this store has a "All Sales are Final policy. Bought 75% of the clothes my granddaughter wears from Trish's shops. Love that I've been able to find wonderful, clean, fashionable clothing at such reasonable prices. Some of the items have original tags and I've paid less than 75% of store price. That is a huge savings when you consider many of the items I've purchased came from Gymborie a high end kids store. I found a brand new spring coat to wear to church and on special occasions for less than $7. When I find a great deal I buy it and put it up for future use. Trish and her staff always make me and my daughter feel welcome. I will never shop in the mall, kohls or other department stores for clothing for my granddaughter. I know I can find great deals at Wear it again, kid and support a small business owner in our community at the same time. read more

This cute little consignment shop has a great selection of toys, books and games at really excellent prices! I picked up a large floor puzzle for my son for $3! I have shopped here a little bit for clothing items but tend to focus more on games/toys or decorative items for my 3-year-old son. Any time I have shopped here, the associate has been very friendly and even offered me a punch card as well as info on consigning items.
