Literally the best GameStop around. The employees here are so sweet and very knowledgeable about video games and Pokemon trading cards. This location has a huge selection of video games and pop culture memorabilia. They also have a huge wall full of Funko Pop figures. This location also sells Pokemon cards and often holds Pokemon drops. Sierra the manager at this location organizes Pokemon drops extremely well. read more

Amazing place to be get lots of games here as well as rewards go here all the time and always feel welcome with the staff. One staff member Brock (like Pokémon lol!) answered some questions I had asked about rewards it seemed he knew a lot about retro gaming. Been on hold for 30+ minutes and decided to just disconnect the call. Customer service expectations aren't really that high but the fact that you were kindly asked to be placed on hold while they research your pre-order status. The improvement is plain to see here. Customer service. Don't place your investor on hold for such a long time when you have no intention providing the answer. read more

I've been to this local GameStop a few times recently and every time has been a terrible experience. Solely focusing on the customer service, the employees here have all been very unwelcoming and very opinionated. Every single thing I've purchased here has caused an employee to essentially reprimand me on why I shouldn't be purchasing it and was even told when purchasing the PlayStation Portal that "I didn't know what I was buying" when I in fact did know what I was buying. It's like I have to explain to them why I want to purchase something every single time and then they'll just go on a rant about how it's a terrible purchase anyways. They're opinionated to a huge fault and the customer service here is terrible, very unprofessional. Won't be going ever again. read more

I don't ever write reviews, but I think this one needs to be heard and read, I was in there looking for a PlayStation portal, the female worker was on the phone for over 10 minutes and didn't ask anybody if they needed help, she then proceeded to talk quite loud, where everybody could hear her conversation as she speaks ill of her managers and possibly store owners. Very unprofessional I would definitely not recommend this place ever until she's gone. read more

Very slow service and doesn't seem adequately staffed most of the time, I recommend going to a different store. I tried selling my ps4 here. I already waited in line but when to the front I was told I had to go back to the end of the line because "the store is too busy and it'd take a long time for a console trade". Sure, whatever. But when I waited for my turn a second time after a long line, the associate working today told me their store system isn't working and they can't test my ps4 properly despite it running perfectly. So they couldn't take it in even after all that waiting and checking out my console. Maybe make sure your system works before wasting a customers time for an hour for nothing. Also maybe train your associates to provide service in a timely manner. read more

This GameStop is just super weird. The vibe when you enter feels unwelcoming. We came in, no one greeted us but four guys were behind the counter just standing there, glaring. As if they don't want to deal with customers. When having a conversation about games, one of the employees rudely interrupts our conversation with a clear attitude. He tried to "correct" us on a topic but ended up being wrong and then got kinda agitated. Then he blocked the games we were looking at, by putting games away. Didn't even say excuse me. Really seemed like he hated being there. No one ever asked if we wanted help, no one ever bothered to check in. Weird vibe and weird employees. Absolutely will not return because usually we LOVE shopping and striking conversation at GameStop. Save your money and go somewhere where the employees WANT to help you. read more

I like to come here whenever I'm in the area I hope that they won't close this since they are closing all of the dimple records They always have a lot of All games in here they even carry games for the PlayStation 3. They carry game for PlayStation 4 they carry the 3DS games and the DS games. They sell a lot of game systems they always have great sales going on I always like to come in here and see what they have and sometimes I come back to go back and buy it if I don't have the money on me a lot of people don't realize when you get store credit you get more if you get cash you get less the staff at this location is very friendly and helpful very clean establishment very clean atmosphere. Some parking lot and this location also has T-shirts for sale and much more I highly recommend them to anybody that likes to play video games like me read more

Went in with brand new $200 worth of games, offered $50, went to the one in Citrus Heights, cash offer there @$180. Don't shop here unless you want fraud charges to show up on your bank account. On October 24th, I purchased $20 in playstation gift cards at this store. Three days later, I discovered several hundred dollars of charges pending on my account, luckily caught by the fraud department of my bank. All of the pending charges were for games from Gamestop. Hmmmm...strange.... Especially since I did not use my card any other place. I plan to make a formal complaint with management, but felt it was necessary to warn the public. read more

There was a girl and a guy working last night and they were super knowledgable about the games and you could tell they enjoy their job. I wish we would've came to them before we bought the Star Wars Battlefront game... Unfortunately we purchased it elsewhere- but we wish we would came here first and bought Fallout 4 instead and saved he $60. Anyways- we bought Fallout 4 anyways and it's awesome just like they said!! The cashier was like 68 hours into it and it's totally addicting. My family and I have been coming to this location for about 3 years now since we've moved out to Roseville. With at least 3 locations in the area, this is by far our favorite location. Ugh. Now, on't get me wrong, this particular Gamestop is OK as such, but you can see the start of a decline in how video games are sold, as well as the consignment of PS3 games to the bargain bin. My beef is really with the city rules for trade ins - we took in about 6 games (one of them was only worth $0.25!) for a grand total of around $20. For my trouble, I had to sign 6 papers *and* give thumbprints on each. I don't know who they are trying to catch with this nonsense, but it's pretty stupid. Anyway, the guy was nice enough about it, but in future I'll stick with Gamestop in Oakland. read more

F*ck the employees here at GameStop they try and scam you into buying games because of "deals" just to charge you full price and say the deal works a completely different way. We walked in and asked for no help and we're just browsing for a new multiplayer game. After trying to upsell us on multiple games after we kept refusing he said there was a deal going on where if you picked out three games under $20 two were free. I was skeptical already but we decided to do it. When getting up to the counter the other employee said that only applies to pre owned games and which two out of the three were not. But if we picked two more pre owned ones it would work. So we spent even more time to pick out games then when we get to the counter again it's $60 they both act confused and then he says no it's 60$ for those and then you can get two more pre owned games for free. There's no way that I specifically asked twice and they didn't know what they were doing. read more

his Game Stop has to be the worst one! Every time I go in with a problem, like my PS3 that I bought from them isnt working....they give me a card and tell me to go see the guy across the street. When I've gone in to ask why a game isnt working they wont even try and test it, they just look at me and tell me to buy a new one. So for those of you who like Game Stop and wont great service go to the Game Stop on Fairway in Rosevile. Every single person that works there is FABULOUS. Their customer service rivals Nordstrom.
