Definitely the best GameStop I have ever been to over the years and it's always because of the customer service you get while you are shopping here. I have bought my ps4 way back and have continued to use this as my main GameStop to trade old unwanted games for new games. The store is small just like most of the other locations I've been too but seriously, the customer service is always on point. This is way overdue, but decided to review since I'm receiving notifications that my membership is about to expire. I'm supposed to receive the gaming magazine Gameinformer that comes with activating the pro membership account. Got only 1 magazine in-store, the day I activated my membership. Since then, none has been sent to my address. The 12 month subscription is worth $20 but I've used points to purchase it, so it did not bother me as much, but I still would like to get my points worth. This place is horrible. Their service is horrible. I went on the gamestop website and searched for a DMC game and saw that it only cost like $7. I decided to go to this gamestop to get that game. When I was there, I asked about the prices of other games first. Then finally when I asked about DMC, he did not check his computer or anything and he says it cost $59.99. I told him which DMC game I want but he told me $59.99. Later when I returned, another guy was serving us, and I got the game and it was for $7. read more

Don't preorder any funko pops from this store. Your pops will come in damaged and, of course, the employees don't give a crap. You can also never find a chase pop at this location. When you ask about a chase pop the employees look at you as if you're speaking a foreign language. Makes me wonder if you have to be a flipper to work at these places now. read more

I pre-ordered Batman Arkham Knight and had it set up so I could pick it up at the Ontario Mills store. I then couldn't go to Ontario Mills, so I called the Redlands store and the Ontario Mills and they said it was totally okay to pick it up at the Redlands store. They said that if we just went to the Redlands store they could just confirm it over the phone. So we went to the Redlands store and they said that if I wanted to pick it up there then I would lose my pre-order bonus! Why? I pre-ordered from GameStop from online! Not from any particular store! I've been there before and had excellent service. Why not now? I don't know if it is a GameStop policy or what, but if it is, that is one weird policy. read more

Went to gamestop with our kids to swap out a game that my daughter had purchased for me for father's day. The disc inside ended up being the Japanese version of the game I wanted, despite the case being the english sort. Typically, not a big deal. But, as It was a gift and a game my daughter knew I would love, she toseed the receipt. I figured I was stuck with it. The staff at gamestop were awesome. First, one associate my Wife dealt with not only offered to swap it out, but since they didn't have a copy there, she got on the phone and tracked one down for us only a few miles away. She also had the manager at the other store put it on hold for us so we could pick it up the next day as we had an appointment shortly thereafter. Next, all of our boys were making purchases as was I. The customer service rep Juliana Was amazing. She was extremely helpful to our 3 year old son who was looking at the Mario and Yoshi stuffed animals. He ended up getting a Lego toy and a few other things. She talked to him like a friend and he has had a fantastic time. She also knew her stuff when it came to video games. She got all 6 of us checked out and outta there (the boys all had seperate purchases with their allowance) In time for us to get where we needed to go. Not an easy feat by any stretch as the store was packed!!! This particular store also had by far the best selection of used games of any gamestop in the area. Plus, their pricing is competitive with amazon. These reasons combined, but primarily the excellent customer service is the reason we will be back to this store as opposed to ordering from Amazon. If you want a great shopping experience, head to the game stop in the target shopping center in Redlands. It is definitely worth the drive. B read more

I saw they had a good deal on a used xbox 360 bundle and 11 games on their website. With my son's birthday coming up, I called and asked if they offered that special in stores and they said the special was on the website only. I asked that if I ordered the console and it arrived DOA (which I have experienced many times with Gamestop in general over the past decade or so) if I could get it exchanged in store and they said yes. When the system arrived, it was DOA as I half expected it to be...Gamestop corp has zero QA practice, but this review is about this particular location. I brought the console in with all the cables and hdd. The line was long and the wait felt like forever. The phones were constantly ringing and they appeared very understaffed and stressed (I did feel bad for them). There appeared to be a midnight release so they were especially busy, with oddball gamers and some smelly kids walking around....good place to people watch! When I got to the counter, I explained my situation. The girl, Shalom, who was sweet and courteous, said they did not have any of the old white consoles in stock minus the display one (which we tested but it didn't work). I asked if they could compensate me for the inconvenience and exchange it for the newer slim version with wifi and I was told it was going to cost me another $50. This was not acceptable to me. A good business gains rep for doing right by their customers. I paid for the system, got a brick in the mail, and was at a disposition because their stock was depleted and if I wanted to go home with a system, I was going to have to pay even more out of pocket. In the end, the two girls understood where I was coming from, acknowledged the amount of time I had spent in the store and apologized many times for the situation. As I mentioned, the dead system was not this locations fault, but the responsibility of addressing and solving my problem does fall in their lap as they do represent the Gamestop corporation. The store manager (I didn't catch her name) ultimately got me out the door with what I wanted and told me if I had any problems to come back. She was polite and sincere. TLDR; Ordered 360 online, it was DOA. Brought in for exchange, they didn't have same console in stock and told me I had to pay $50 if I wanted slightly better console. Spent an hour at the counter (girl seemed new to register platform) pleading my case and doing exchange Manager finally got me situated and on my way. Thank you! read more

Juan was very helpful I had a bad experience at another gamestop location and I was reluctant to give gamestop any more of my business. Juan definitely changed my mind. He helped me make some difficult decisions in order to get the console that best fit my needs! also I was trading in my ps3 and forgot my hdmi cable at home which is required in order to trade in consoles Juan gave me a cdmi cable that he had in his possession so i wouldn't have to drive all the way home. The location is a bit of a drive from my house but I will definitely be returning to this location. well worth the drive. read more

This was the final straw for my local gamestop. My mother and I went to buy a season pass for COD Black ops 3. I am a long time gamer. So I used to go here and buy something about every week. The customer service has gone done the past year. This time we go in. Grab the season pass and walk up to the line to wait. There was one employee standing at the employee only door talking to another employee in the back. She kept looking at us. But didnt say anything. We walked out after ten minutes of waiting.
