The reason why I know about this place is when I was watching the FIFA finals in my small group, a family friend told me about this spot. When I was here, a lot of the stuff was gone to a convention. But there's still some good things! It's literally the first time I've ever seen some of these consoles, so it's super cool! As you can tell on my profile pic, I'm a Sonic fan. And the little picture of this place is Sonic 2!(GG version) And there was a Genesis!!!!! Literally my childhood dream since I was like, 7! I genuinely thank this place. It's good I thought for a few days if this was a good choice before buying. It's also good I didn't break the glass cabinets. They can also repair broken consoles! Unfortunately, you won't find singles here, at least at the time of writing. For board gamers, there is a small but diverse selection of addictive games for sale. For video game enthusiasts, Nerdvana sells used old retro games, accessories, and consoles as well as more modern games. The prices are very reasonable for these collector items. For wargammers, you'll find minis, paints, books, and accessories for Warhammer. If you like D&D like me, you'll find minis, dice, and rulebooks for the latest editions, as well as some other non-Hasbro owned TTRPGs. In addition to the things they sell, Nerdvana has arcade cabinets and a large game space for hosting tournaments and events. Back when baseball cards and comic books with king. Sometimes I get nostalgic for those teenage years buying comics and Donruss/Fleer cards back in the 90's. Back then I could see things were changing and going more toward the playing card games. I was happy to see this place alive and well, and moved into a better location. I came on a Sunday and yeah it was packed with men playing Magic the Gathering. I saw the old owner, don't remember his name, with his signature glasses and fisherman hat. It was good to see him still at. They still sell some comic books, but obviously that market is dying and frankly lost a lot of old readers who made up the fore fanbase. Still I was very happy to see the old Triple Play, Comic Cellar still around and seemingly thriving. Magic is not a game I play and it's certainly not my crowd, but definitely give this place a chance. It's a cool piece of living history in the local nerd community.
