Trading card games, video games, board games, wargamming, pen and paper games, old school, new school, you name it, you'll find it there. For your trading card game players, they have a wide selection of the latest boosters packs, preconstructed decks, and accessories. Unfortunately, you won't find singles here, at least at the time of writing. For board gamers, there is a small but diverse selection of addictive games for sale. For video game enthusiasts, Nerdvana sells used old retro games, accessories, and consoles as well as more modern games. The prices are very reasonable for these collector items. For wargammers, you'll find minis, paints, books, and accessories for Warhammer. If you like D&D like me, you'll find minis, dice, and rulebooks for the latest editions, as well as some other non-Hasbro owned TTRPGs. In addition to the things they sell, Nerdvana has arcade cabinets and a large game space for hosting tournaments and events. Call in advance or check their website to find something fun to do there this month! Nerdvana really has a little bit of everything for your gaming needs.

The prices here are very affordable and I got quite a few games I was looking for for a great price. I'm sad we don't have one of these closer to home!! But it was soo soo soo much fun walking around and looking at things. They have quite a collection of games from all platforms. They are also super helpful. They also have all their stock on the computer so you can look up if they have something and how much it is if you can't find it (or if you just really want to make sure it's there and at a reasonable price before you go looking for it). The little boy behind the counter first of all started off being rude so I asked him what his name was and he said "im the other black man". Why he tried to turn to something racist i still cant figure out. I have a conversation with his older brother on the phone about 2 hours before I came up to the store and he was super nice. Then the little boy asked for my id so he could call the cops and get me for trespassing when he never asked me to leave. All I can say is stay away from there.

I went in 4 times because I bought a video game that doesn't play and they claimed to fix it the second time and I asked him are you sure it works before I leave and they said yes went home and it doesn't work. Went in a third time and they claimed to find another one but they gave me the same game back which was a total waste of my time because I could've exchanged it . 4th time I go in they give me a hard time about it when they've sold me a broken game and gave me back the same broken game when they claimed they gave me a different one. Half the stuff they have out box wise for sale they don't even have. The prices make zero sense because you can get the same game for more money or less money. The first game that I bought was 25 the second game I bought was 12. same game makes no sense to me.

The reason why I know about this place is when I was watching the FIFA finals in my small group, a family friend told me about this spot. When I was here, a lot of the stuff was gone to a convention. But there's still some good things! It's literally the first time I've ever seen some of these consoles, so it's super cool! As you can tell on my profile pic, I'm a Sonic fan. And the little picture of this place is Sonic 2!(GG version) And there was a Genesis!!!!! Literally my childhood dream since I was like, 7! I genuinely thank this place. It's good I thought for a few days if this was a good choice before buying. It's also good I didn't break the glass cabinets. They can also repair broken consoles! Back when baseball cards and comic books with king. Sometimes I get nostalgic for those teenage years buying comics and Donruss/Fleer cards back in the 90's. Back then I could see things were changing and going more toward the playing card games. I was happy to see this place alive and well, and moved into a better location. I came on a Sunday and yeah it was packed with men playing Magic the Gathering. I saw the old owner, don't remember his name, with his signature glasses and fisherman hat. It was good to see him still at. They still sell some comic books, but obviously that market is dying and frankly lost a lot of old readers who made up the fore fanbase. Still I was very happy to see the old Triple Play, Comic Cellar still around and seemingly thriving. Magic is not a game I play and it's certainly not my crowd, but definitely give this place a chance. It's a cool piece of living history in the local nerd community.
