So glad we have one of these here! I love coming to this chain to get used games. They usually have a reasonable price. I believe they have the best prices in the area though I haven't been to many gaming places in a few years since I felt they were overpriced. Though please be aware that just because they have it out doesn't mean they have it! I tried to buy Justice League season 2 and they didn't actually have the discs for it!! Ok this happened to me last Christmas, and didn't know I could review it till now. My brother put on his list that he wanted a Nintendo 64 so he could play some of his old games he found. I figured this would be a good place to get one at a reasonable place. When I went in I noticed the large amount of old games, movies, shows, ect... as an avid gamer I was excited to see a lot of the games and the older systems I remember from when I was little. The one thing I wasn't impressed with was the prices for some them. Now granted these games were like on PS1 and Sega Geniuses and could no longer be bought at regular stores, but still I'm not willing to pay the same price they were at when they were new and could be found anywhere. So that kinda bummed me out a bit. Luckily the game system i was after was only $45 not including controllers. Had to pay extra for those. I was happy at first and it sat under my tree for a few weeks. My brother was excited to try it out Xmas morning, but when he plugged it in nothing happened. Thinking well it could be that tvs had changed so much that perhaps they couldn't support it. So he tried it on an old tv that we all knew it would work on. Didn't work there either. Now we are game and game savvy people and we tried everything we knew could possibly be the case before coming to the conclusion that the 64 was nonfunctional. My brother and I returned it to the store crossing our fingers hoping they would take it back since it was a number of weeks ago. They took it back and tested it, saying that yes it was defective and they would be happy to trade us a different one. We accepted that and told them to plug in the "new" system before we left. The employees couldn't figure out how to plug it in to the store tv. How do you run a store like this and not know the basics is beyond me. When they finally figured it out that one turned out to be bad as well so the fiddled with the wires saying that apparently it's fixed now. My brother said he would take it but he wanted a receipt signed saying that the game systems had problems and that if he had any more problems he could return it for store credit, not refund. So we took it home and at first it didn't work, but my brother changed out some of the old wires and now it runs smoothly. Neither of us were happy about the experience and vowed to never buy anything from there again. The employees appeared ignorant, confused about their inventory, prices were outrages for what you were getting. Not to mention some of the used controllers were pretty nasty looking they were covered in trash and some seemed sticky when you held them. I even talked to one one of the people who worked their and he said that this tends to happen a lot. I asked if they checked them before hand to make sure they worked before selling them. At first he was quiet then he said "Oh yeah, of course." Seems to me that if supposedly check out every piece of equipment that you took in then this should not be a common problem. I didn't say that, but I did think it. It seems almost a policy to never pay in cash for used items, and you can't get refunded for faulty products. I asked around myself and found that many gamers are hoping this store either shapes up or closes down. read more

My grandson loves this store. We go in with a couple of games that he is tired of, trades them in for one or two that he is interested in and we leave after spending very little. Yes my friends this store always has great deals !! read more

My kids saved for a game system and paid cash. The system is questionable, and they refused to give them their cash back. They would have made tons of money off our family in games. Worse than Game Stop. We will never go back. Learn from us. Read reviews and rent games before spending your hard earned cash. Ask first, and then buy new items from reputable retailers who have an honorable return policy. What the hell good is store credit when it's just a piece of crap for another piece of crap. read more

I think this store is wonderful. Has been in Memphis for almost 2 years and now there is 4 store in the mid-south, I have sold and bought from them and has been wonderful in both. I know for a fact they test there stuff and the Winchester store because they have to my system I have sold them and didn't take a few of my things because the way they looked. Take your money and run. I purchased a whole array of Wii accessories for my son. Including a Nikon battery charging cradle with two batteries...for 50$My mistKe for getting ripped of the price. After charging them for three hours a piece they only held a charge for about a minute and died. So I decide to return and exchange the item. When I asked to exchange the item , I was told that they had no more in stock and would have to give me store credit. I told them that that would not work and would like to vet a refund to go and purchase the same item elsewhere. The clerk told me that they do not refund under any circumstances. I could. Completely understand if they had another item in stock but , to not have any and tell me that I cannot have my money back because they do not carry the item any longer is ridiculous. He finally calls the manager and says that I can get a refund if I return the entire purchase. So I drove home got the rest of the items and returned them. Stay away from this store. They have a poor exchange policy and horrible service. Pay the extra 5$ a game and head to gamestop or head a bit further down the road to replays. read more

omar not sure if he was having a bad day or what but this store is wonderful. get used game at 1/2 the pirce as any where else. they make sure they are buff and look like new. one of the guys curtis that work there is really nice. help me out every time I am there.
