I was in need of a birthday gift for my 80 year old friend. Cheryl was so helpful in making suggestions. One items I would never have seen if she had t pointed it out. This is the best Hallmark out of the like two that are left in town. It's huge, which is great. The gifts they sell aren't tacky knick-knacks as some of the other Hallmarks sell. Some of this stuff is actually cute and things I'd actually consider buying and giving to someone. Another benefit of its large size is there's lots of cards. So there's not just the one upcoming holiday and that's it. Usually if there's a few holidays, there's cards for all of them, and lots of variety. One downside of other stores (not to mention the Hallmark section in Walgreens, Kroger, etc.) is there's just no selection. If you want to buy a birthday card for a girl, it better be a family member, or you're screwed. Here, there's heaps of choices, and not just musical cards. A little tip: if you get rewards coupons in the mail, this Hallmark will still accept them. I was told this by employees, and sure enough any time I've presented an expired coupon they redeem it for the full amount, no questions asked. So yes, while it is a corporate store, that is one advantage. An employee told me the corporate-owned Hallmarks do accept expired coupons, but the franchise-owned ones only do it at their discretion (aka not at all according to my experience). read more

This is one of the closest Hallmark locations to my house since they closed the one where I live. The employees are always very helpful and I like it that they remember me every time I come in. They reorganized the store recently and I like that it looks more modern and is easier to browse around in. I like the large selection of cards and gifts they carry, but I wish Hallmark added new cards more often. Tip: If you come at lunch time, expect to park at the far end of the parking lot, far away from the store since the restaurants in this shopping center seems to be very popular with the lunch crowd. read more

Find your unique valentines gifts here! There aren't that many Hallmark stores open anymore and this is a big well stocked convenient location. The lady up front was very helpful to hold a baby gift for me and honor my coupons. They have cute and clever trinkets along with plenty of cards and wrapping supplies. I especially love two items for baby gift the decor sign that says "you are my favorite reason to lose sleep" in pink or blue and the Star Wars post its for guy gifts. I went in to buy two specific ornaments. I found one, but the other was out of stock. No offer to try to find one at another store. Also, I asked if there was a bathroom and there was not a "public bathroom ". So I began to check out on the one ornament I wanted and REALLY needed to go to the bathroom at that time. I ask again if there is a restroom I may use, as I am squirming as I am trying to check out. Again "no public bathroom". If there had been a full store and people walking in off the streets to use a bathroom, I could understand. But as a paying customer for a $25 ornament, I don't understand why the lady couldn't just let me use her bathroom. At any rate, next time I need to go to a Hallmark store, I'll 1. It is Friday evening, Sept. 7, and I tried to go to this Hallmark location at 7:50 pm to buy a card. It was CL0SED!! I saw the workers in there walking around. Until yesterday, I had enjoyed shopping at this Hallmark Store. I stopped by to buy a $25 gift card and two rolls of giftwrap. At the checkout register, something strange occurred. My debit card was swiped and the "Approval" notice appeared. However, the clerk said that the system was giving her an error message with regard to the $25 gift card. She then asked for my driver's license. I showed her the license and asked what the system was saying. She said, "It's not allowing me to process the gift card. I know you've been in here before but there's been fraudulent activity." Then she said, "The problem is not with your debit card, it's with the gift card." I was thinking, "Well this is YOUR merchandise!" I then asked her to pull another gift card from the rack and see what happens. The other gift card processed immediately. As a customer, this was truly a humiliating experience for me as there was a line of persons behind me and I take pride in being a person of honesty and integrity. On Tuesday May 9, 2017, I was shopping for mother's day cards and went to this store from past experience, because I have always found a great selection of cards and the "Bundle Card Packs". I buy the bundle packs to send to mothers of my church, but spend a little more for cards for my sisters and other close relatives. When I walked into the store, my first disappointment was that this store did not stock the Bundle Mother's Day Card Packs this year, and the greatest amount of other cards were full of "bling", wrappings and other effects that made the cards cost over 5 dollars each. Since the bundle packs were not available, I searched for the .99 cents cards but they were not in stock either. It looks like the buyer purchased cards that would bring more cash flow into the store. usually, when I buy from the store, and find all of the cards that I want, I do shop and purchase other things before I would leave the store. I bought three cards for my sisters, and left the store today. I will go to Walmart and Walgreens to search for the bundle card packs. read more
