I would give no stars if I could! I have been shopping at GameStop for years, for some reason we keep purchasing gaming headphones at this location. Every time I purchase a new or refurbished pair for my kids, the person working pushes the warranty claiming the warranty covers everything. Well this is not true, what you get with a warranty depends on the person working. And of course every time we need to cash in on that warranty we are told no, that whatever is wrong with our headphones is not covered?? To me, the problem is the employees, I'm so sick of being told the warranty will cover ANY damage and then trying to exchange and being told Oh wait, the warranty doesn't cover this. GameStop please explain to your employees the warranty does not cover EVERYTHING! Due to this lack of communication I will not be returning to your store! You have lost our business! read more

They don't have consoles...they give you like 2$ store credit for used games. You can buy all the games online through your Xbox or PlayStation for cheaper.....I'm trying to understand how and why GameStop is still around. They serve little to no purpose. This is my place fills my every need when it comes to gaming. They have everything for whatever system you have or if you are looking to invest in a new console, the staff is very nice and insightful to give their customers the information they require to make an informed buyers purchase. They have a lot of new and used games and systems here as well. I'm staring at the first generation Nintendo along with the first Mario Brothers, so if that gives you a hint of what kind of vintage systems and games they have. I recommend that if you are a serious gamer go ahead and sign up for the PRO membership. You just get so much more value for your money. Last time I came here I traded in 4 old games and they paid for 2 and half new games! Because I got 60% trade in value for the games. The store is great. Yesterday, I manage to get a look at the Nintendo 3DS before it launched today. The manager and employees welcome you the second you walk in the door. They also seem to know a bit about video games themselves. All in all, good customer service. One thing that puts me off (that's all GameStops in general) is the trade-in credit amounts they give you for used systems and games. Typically you would have to take advantage of the trade-in specials to get more bang for your store credit. read more
