Little did I know I'd walk out today with a BRAND NEW WII! We got a Wii (it also included Wii Fit) and purchased a LOT of games too. The Wii was a huge part of my childhood and unfortunately the one I owned growing up was damaged and thrown away (gasp... I know! But not my fault)! Anyways, the worker there today (had on a My Chemical Romance hat & had some cool tattoos) helped us out today. I didn't get their name, but they were very nice and extremely helpful. The pricing here? Out of this world. It was so affordable to snag over 10 games and a brand new Wii. That's not something you'll get at Game Stop! On top of it, they offer a military discount (we couldn't use it but it's good to know for anyone who can)! This place is also dog friendly and I got to meet a cute dog named Bowie (I wonder if he's a regular)! All and all, I wish this place were located in Los Angeles. I really loved it and again their pricing was extremely fair. I really hope they can get a website up soon because I'd love to buy from them when I'm back home! You can tell that this store has people who are really passionate about what they do And are not just run if the mill employees. They took the time to tell me about several of my individual cards, show me how to find their value online and gave me recommendations as to where I could sell them. Every interaction with these gentlemen is an absolute treat, and you really feel like part of the team here even just as a customer. I've purchased many games here and two consoles thus far, most recently a PlayStation 4 Pro. This console is clean, pristine, and doesn't have a single speck of dirt in the vents. That is incredibly rare - especially with a used item. Calico clearly refurbishes and takes good care of their consoles, unlike most places who just pawn off whatever they take in. Their game discs are practically brand new, even used, all of the discs I purchase have zero scratches to the naked eye, and play flawlessly. The prices are incredible, you can get like-new premium games for $4.99+, and that is absolutely fantastic worth. The PlayStation 4 Pro I purchased was $180 - an absolute beast of a deal! Most of all, I especially love how Joey and Czar remember me by name whenever I enter the store, it just really makes me feel special and cared for as a customer. Then I was told that two of the gaming systems didn't work . I had no issues with BookOff. BookOff tested them, they had no issues. When I went to pick up my stuff, I guess a third gaming system-had been added to the not working list it had a bight green posted attached. Thankfully... Just picked up my money from BookOff with no issues they took all the systems. ***Math isn't mathing.

AUTOMATIC FIVE-STAR RATING! Okay, besides that, Now or Never is one of the few (if not only) comic book stores in Downtown San Diego. It's actually cleaner and more organized than the ones I frequent, but the relatively small size of the building means they don't have as much in stock as I'd like. Case in point, I wanted to show my appreciation for supporting SDCC by getting a couple of graphic novels of Trese and Usagi Yojimbo, but the ones I wanted weren't in stock. But, given how I was surprised to see a comic book store a few blocks away from the Convention Center, I can see myself probably checking it out again whenever I'm in the area.
